Live on Pay-Per-View from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
(The fans in attendance here at the Pure Class Arena are buzzing with joy, excitement, and intrigue. In about twenty minutes, they will be witnessing history, as the PCW will host it's first Pay-Per-View since November of 2003. Revival, as it is known, will be a turning point in the promotion, as all the PCW Championships, including the vacant World and Tag Team Championships. And, in a surprising move, President Alejandro Walker suspended The Force, who was a favorite to win the World Championship, from competing here tonight as a result of The Force trying to walk-out of the Main Event at Trauma [8]. And, in an even more surprising move, as a replacement for The Force, "The Icemann" Luis Malave, PCW CEO and Owner, has hired his long-time foe, Kyle Cross. Yes indeed, the fans in attendance has a right to be buzzing. But, as a special bonus treat for those who decided to fork out the extra money to watch Revival, there is a dark match, that'll be happening any minute now. As a matter of fact, Mark Long is just now climbing into the ring preparing to announce this special dark match)
Dark Match
Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal
Rayne vs. Havik vs. Pandora vs. Maverick Stone vs. The Painted Assassin vs. Black Ice vs. Slither
Referees: Tim Jones, Roberto Garcia, & Travis Wilson
Match Details: In this special Revival dark match, we have 7 Superstars all trying to make a name, or in a few cases, reestablishing a name, for themselves by competing and trying to win this Over-the-Top-Rope Battle Royal. After all the participants were introduced, and were in the ring, the match officially began. For the opening seconds, everyone stayed distant from one another. Havik, Pandora, Maverick Stone, and Black Ice were all in the four available corners. Leaning against the middle of the ropes to the left stood Slither, and across from him on the right was The Painted Assassin, tutu and all. And standing in the middle of the ring is Rayne. All are looking over one another, but, noticing how Rayne has nowhere to go, everyone just attacked him. After a few quick elbows by the mob, Rayne was hexagonial teamed and thrown over the ropes. As Rayne hits the outside, the mob in the inside disintegrates, as every member begins to go after one another. Black Ice and Slither pick up where they left off a few weeks ago, and they begin battleing out with one another. Pandora and The Painted Assassin had squared off, aswell as Havik and Maverick Stone. And after only a few moments go by, the next person tossed over the top rope was The Painted Assassin, who, for the second time in his PCW Battle Royal experience, has been eliminated by a female. The next to go would be Slither, as Black Ice finally managed to strike some sort of revenge by eliminating one of the favorites of the match; this left the ring with four- Pandora, Havik, Black Ice, and Maverick Stone. What makes it even more special is that Maverick Stone and Havik are making their official PCW debuts in this match, Pandora is the only female, and also the only one of the remaining four who has won a match in the PCW, and Black Ice, the wrestling rookie, is still seeking a win. But yeah, the four remaining seperate and take refuge in the corner closest to them. And one by one, inch by inch, do they make their way out of the corner. As they all begin to battle it out in the middle of the ring, Pandora is manhandled by Havik, and shortly after, she is gone from the match, leaving the ring with three competitors. All win-less in the PCW competitors. Maverick Stone retreats to the corner again, and leaves it so that Black Ice and Havik battle it out. A few minutes later, as Stone is relaxing in the corner, Black Ice manages to shuffle side kick Havik clear over the ropes. Yes indeed, Havik is gone, and the person who had the least chance of winning the Battle Royal, Black Ice, has made it to the final two. The two square off for a few minutes, going back and forth, but nothing really too exciting happens. That is, until Black Ice catches Maverick in a surprising and interesting variation of a Fisherman Suplex, which he calls The Frostbite, and he slams him down hard on the mat. He then climbs up the top rope and does a diving leg drop onto the throat of Stone. As he gets up, he grabs Stone, and tosses him over the rope, getting his first-ever PCW win in the process.
Winner
(Following the Battle Royal, the winner is declared, and his hand is raised in victory, the arena lights turn off, and the arena is left in total darkness. The fans in attendance begin cheering and yelling and grunting unidentifiable grunts, not sure what's about to happen. And then suddenly, a blinding white light fills the arena as it illuminates off the PCW-Tron. Most of the fans in the arena cover their eyes as the blinding light is so hard to focus on. And then, with a flash, the white light is gone, and the arena is again pitch black- but only for a second! The PCW-Tron then comes on again, and though most of the screen is still black, stamped in the center of the screen is a large, yellow, shadowed-by-black word. The word? The word says: REVIVAL! The one word brings ever true PCW fan up to their feet in celebration as "Chop Suey" by Systems of a Down begins to play. A video package highlighting events from the first PCW and the "revived" version begins to play on the PCW-Tron. Some of the scenes you see are: Bison winning the first ever PCW World Championship against Hexus in a Deadly Intentions Match; "The Icemann" Luis Malave defeating Maniac in an Inferno Match; Jason Willard and Loco defeating "No Mercy" Anthony Brown and Senor Smurf for the PCW Tag Team Championships; Nina Arcania defeating Chad Dizzle for the World Championship; Innovator eliminating Pegasus and Sexay Jay to become World Champion, and in the process awarding Pegasus the International and Sexay Jay the North American Championships; Angelica Night defeating Black Ice and Sexay Jay for the North American Championship; Landon Divine winning his debut match against Senor Smurf; LoKi smashing Pegasus in the head with a lead pipe repeatedly and Pegasus returning the favor; and so much more. After the video package finishes, the arena lights go back to their normal setting, as "Chop Suey" continues to play within the Pure Class Arena. As the camera swarms over the arena, you can see the fans are in a frenzy, anticipating the matches that are to be followed here tonight. As the cameras makes their way to the broadcast booth, we see both Mike Hunt and Jerry Andrews adjusting their headsets. As the camera shifts to other images of the arena, it focuses on one man sitting in the front row. That man is no other than Kyle Cross! He's just sitting there, pretty focused on the ring and nothing else. As the camera pans from him back to the broadcast booth, the volume which "Chop Suey" was playing on lowers. You can still hear it, but not enough for it to drown out the voices of the commentators, as they are about to begin speaking.)
Jerry Andrews: Welcome everybody to PCW Revival! It's been a long eight weeks leading up to this event, but I am sure it will not disappoint! I'm Jerry Andrews and alongside me if my broadcast colleague Michael Hunt. Mike...
"The Man" Michael "Mike" Hunt: ...Tonight should be like a night like no other! We have six matches that will surely knock your socks off! And if neccassary, we'll have a seventh to decide the new PCW World Champion! I can't wait Jerry! Who do you got winning the Championship tonight?
Jerry Andrews: All three men involved in this opportunity has a legitimate chance of walking out the Champion. But I'm pretty sure Sexay Jay is perhaps the favorite to win!
Mike Hunt: I don't know. Kyle Cross has caused quite a stir around the wrestling world the last few days when he made his signing with the PCW official. I wouldn't be surprised if he walked out the winner.
Jerry Andrews: But we can't forget the "X Factor!" Maniac has been on some role since his return to the PCW, and I am sure he'll shine in his first World Championship opportunity.
Mike Hunt: That's true. But I'm just so excited about the matches we got here tonight. We also have a crucial North American Championship Three Way Elimination Match that have been steaming for weeks now.
Jerry Andrews: And speaking of matches that have been anticipated for, nothing can be more anticipated than the International Championship Match, which will pit International Champion Pegasus against LoKi in a Pain of Glass Match! That one should be one for the record books. But let's not delay any longer! Let's take it to Mark Long, who is standing in the ring, preparing to make the introductions for tonight's first match, which just happens to be one of the World Title Round Robin Matches!
Match One: World Championship Round Robin Match
Maniac vs. Sexay Jay
Referee: Tyrone Little
Maniac vs. Sexay Jay
Referee: Tyrone Little
(The camera feed switches from the broadcast booth to the center of the ring, which Mark Long is standing, ready to make the ring introductions.)
Mark Long: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a fifteen minute time limit.
(The Pure Class Arena then goes dark...pitch black even. On the PCW-Tron, the word “SEXAY” comes up in white, and then the intro to “So Fresh, So Clean” by Outkast hits, as video clips of Jay wrestling and standing there looking good come up. Suddenly...
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
...fireworks hit the top of the ramp, and Sexay Jay struts through them, thrusting his hips all over, with K-Muny and Glock Fine walking behind him, grooving to the beat. The three of them walk to the ring. Once they get there, Glock Fine and K-Muny give Jay ten fingers, lifting him up into the ring where he gets in and stands there, appealing to the crowd.)
Jerry Andrews: This Sexay Jay character...I don't know...there's something about this guy that makes the crowd love him.
Mike Hunt: It's that rap music. Now, I didn't figure that many people down here in South Carolina were going to enjoy him, however, they seemed to really have caught on with the guy.
(Just then, Maniac's voice comes over the loudspeaker saying, "I believe, more importantly then other people believing in you, is you, believing in yourself. I've been knocked down I keep getting up, and I'm here for you tonight cause this is my destiny, this is my dream, and I want to share it with you...Assume the position." All of a sudden, "Sad But True" by Metallica hits in and the fans get to there feet casually cheering. Once the song has played for 19 seconds, it stops. The lights go out and the arena becomes black, but after 5 seconds of blackness and quiet, drums kick back in and pyro shoots up as the lights shoot on and the music blares. From behind the curtain Maniac appears to the fans.)
Mark Long: And his opponent for this World Championship Round Robin Match...hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada...weighing in at 295 lbs. and standing 6 feet, 2 inches...Maniac!
(Maniac stops at the top of the entranceway and looks around the sold out arena. He then, after that quick pause, continues to walk down the ring until he reaches it, which he walks up the left side of the ring's steel steps. He climbs in through the middle and top rope, and, after taking a quick glance at Sexay Jay, he walks to the middle of the ring and raises his arms.)
Jerry Andrews: Yes folks, you are about to witness history! For the first time in a long time, PCW Pay-Per-View action is about to emense!
(Tyrone goes to check on Maniac and then on Sexay Jay for illegal objects. He then gives a shout of warning to the two at ringside, warning them, if they even think about getting involved, they're going to be sent to the back, and if they managed to actually get involved, Jay will be disquailified.)
Jerry Andrews: If I was Maniac, I'd be a bit skeptic with K-Muny and Glock Fine standing at ringside.
Mike Hunt: *Sarcasticly* You think?
(After checking both men, Tyrone signals for the bell, and the match begins.)
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
Jerry Andrews: Here we go.
(The match starts off with Maniac running towards Sexay Jay and lunging at him, knocking him down with a Lou Theze Press that catches Jay off guard.)
Mike Hunt: Jay's going to have to pay attention and focus on the lil things in this match if he wants to walk out the winner.
Jerry Andrews: That's just common sense Mike.
Mike Hunt: Shut up Jerry!
(After a few moments of Maniac pounding on Jay, he backs off him, gets onto his feet, and then pulls Jay back onto his. He whips Jay into the ropes and as Jay flies back, Maniac catches him with a sickening swinging neckbreaker. He immediately goes for the pinfall following the manevuer.)
...1...
(Jay infactically kicks out.)
Jerry Andrews: Maniac should know better than to be going for a pin attempt this early into the match-up.
Mike Hunt: Well, maybe he doesn't know better. Maybe he's just slow.
(Maniac grabs Jay by the head and brings him back onto his feet again. As they're both up to their feet, Maniac goes to do a short-arm clotheslines, but as he pulls Jay into him, Jay ducks under and, with his head underneath Maniac's arm while Maniac is still clutching Jay's arm, Jay delivers a sort of backdrop suplex.)
Mike Hunt: What a suplex by Jay!
Jerry Andrews: Interesting counter.
(Jay waits for Maniac to get back onto his feet, and when he does he whips Maniac into the ropes and then catches him coming off of them with a Spinning Spinbuster. He quickly goes to make the pin.)
...1...
...2...
(Maniac barely is able to kick out.)
Jerry Andrews: The way this match is going down I am surpised. I was looking for more of a fight, and Jay seems to picking Maniac apart.
Mike Hunt: That's because Jay is brighter than Maniac. He was prepared. I have a feeling Maniac stayed up all last night partying and drinking.
(The camera shifts focus from the men in the ring to Kyle Cross, who is sitting in the front row, watching his opponents in action. He seems to be very concentrated on this match, scouting his opponents for later on in the night. The camera shifts back to the action in the ring. As the camera shifts back, though it's only for a moment, you can see Jay staring in Cross's direction. Jay then lifts up Maniac and tosses him over the ropes, seemingly toying with him.)
Jerry Andrews: It seems Jay has this match in the bag, which is surprising. This is a highly important match, and I'm just ashamed Maniac didn't come into tonight with a more thought out gameplan.
Mike Hunt: His gameplan was as thought out as it was going to be. It's not his fault he is incredibly slow mentally. It's his mother's and father's!
(The crowd begins to boo at Jay's lack of respect towards his opponent, though, it doesn't seem to bother Jay as he begins to swing his hips back and forth. After the crowd begins to hiss and boo at him, Jay shrugs it off and begins walking towards the ropes. But before he can get to the outside of the ring, referee Tyrone Little stops him, telling him to stay in the ring. This gives K-Muny and Glock Fine the chance they've been waiting for all night. As referee Tyrone Little is keeping Sexay Jay in the ring, the two 6'5ish African American males grab Maniac and begin working him over. K grabs Maniac and rams him into the steel ring post. Kyle leaps up and stands in front of his chair, protesting the interference from the two men at ringside.)
Jerry Andrews: This is just wrong. Jay had the match won! I don't know why he just didn't make a pin!
Mike Hunt: He's trying to show Kyle an example of his dominance, I gues.
(The fans are shouting towards the official to turn around, but he's still trying to prevent Jay from exiting the ring. Now Glock-Fine has Maniac, and, he rushes Maniac's head into the ring steps.)
Jerry Andrews: This just isn't right! I thought Jay would have more class than this!
Mike Hunt: Hellooo!?! Jerry! He's a rapper!
(Kyle Cross seems to have seen enough and hops over the guardrail. He immediately goes after Glock Fine and K-Muny.)
Jerry Andrews: Kyle is doing the right thing! Someone needed to help Maniac.
(Kyle rams Glock Fine into the steel ring post. K-Muny feels the rush from Cross soon after, as Kyle lifts him and nails him with the Crossfire Driver. The fans in the arena are buzzing!)
Jerry Andrews: Cross demolishing two out of the three members of Trifection at ringside!
Mike Hunt: Kyle should have just waited his turn! He'll have more than enough opportunities to wrestle here tonight! Let Jay have his match!
(Kyle then rolls Maniac back into the ring and stands at ringside. Jay sees this as a chance not to waste any more time and quickly lifts Maniac up to his feet, before bringing him back down with an intense Sexay Crunch!)
Mike Hunt: Sexay Crunch! Sexay Crunch!
(Kyle then does a quick hip flex before pinning Maniac.)
...1...
...2...
...3!!!
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
(Kyle pounds the mat hard as the last "Ding" is heard.)
Mark Long: The winner of the match...Sexay Jay!
(Outkast's, "So Fresh, So Clean" begins to play and Jay gets his hand raised. Kyle just shakes his head at ringside, before walking up the aisleway. The camera then cuts back to the broadcast booth, as we see Jerry Andrews and Mike Hunt, as Jay music fades out.)
Mike Hunt: What a wasted effort for Cross. He butted into something that he shouldn't had and for what? Maniac still lost!
Jerry Andrews: I don't think Cross was trying to help Maniac win. I just think he wanted to try and even the tables.
Mike Hunt: Well, we know one thing is for certain, Trifection isn't going to be happy about Cross's intervention.
Jerry Andrews: Well, I know something else. The next match will be the match for the the PCW World Tag Team Championships! Let's send it to Mark Long standing inside the ring.
Match Two: World Tag Team Championship Match
?? vs. ??
Referee: Travis Wilson
?? vs. ??
Referee: Travis Wilson
(The camera switches back to the ring where Mark Long is standing preparing to announce the next match.)
Mark Long: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the PCW World Tag Team Championships!
(The crowd gives a defening roar, acknowledging and showing their appreciation and anticipation for tonight's first actual Championship bout.)
Mark Long: Coming down the aisle first...
("You Can Be Mine" by Guns 'N' Roses begins to play and the fans begin booing. The man known as Smith walks solo from behind the entrance curtain.)
Mike Hunt: Well, there's Smith! But where's his partner?
Jerry Andrews: I heard his partner was suppose to be Machine, but he has showed up missing the past few days.
Mark Long: ...uh...standing 5 feet, ten inches and weighing in at a remarkable 185 lbs...Smith!
(Smith walks down the center of the aisle, to keep away from the crowd. It seems to take him forever to reach the ring, for it looks like he is shaking to being forced to compete in this Tag Team Championship Match without a partner.)
Jerry Andrews: Is that a wet spot in the middle of Smith's pants?
(The camera zooms in on the spot, which looks like a spot that someone who wets themself would have.)
Mike Hunt: Stop focusing on Smith's genital area, Jerry!
(Smith finally makes it to the ring, after about a 8 minute entrance. His entrance took so long that his ring music stopped halfway through. Smith begins pacing nervously in the middle of the ring, and we can see the words, "What have I gotten myself into," form out of his mouth.)
Mark Long: And his opponents...
("Vigil" as performed by Lamb of God begins to play.)
Jerry Andrews: This is Senor Smurf's entrance music!
Mark Long: ...Senor Smurf and Gato...the Future!
(As the song plays, no one steps from behind the entrance curtain. After another few moments of nothingness, the fans in attendance begins to boo.)
Jerry Andrews: I don't know what's going on here. A Future reunion seemed to be evident, but neither Smurf nor Gato has walked out to the ring yet.
(Inside the ring, referee Travis Wilson walks over to Mark Long shrugging his shoulders. He then begins telling him something. The expression on Smith's face seems he has heard some good news. A confident, cocky even, smirk shows on Smith's face and then he starts walking masculine-esque all about the ring.)
Mark Long: I have just been told by the official, since The Future has not made their way out towards the ring, referee Travis Wilson has disqualified them!
Jerry Andrews: What!?!
(The fans in attendance begins to chant, "This sucks! This sucks!")
Mark Long: So, as a result of a disqualification...the winner of this match...and NEW PCW World Tag Team Champions...Smith!
(As Smith's music kicks back on, Travis Wilson hands Smith both titles. With a huge amount of difficulty, Smith raises both titles in the air. He stumbles with his balance a bit, but he raises it in the air nonetheless. He then quickly remembers the wet stain on his pants and covers it by putting one of the titles around his waist. He then slowly but surely leaves the ring, walks up the asile, and then walks to the back.)
Mike Hunt: I love it, yet I can't believe it! Smith is the PCW World Tag Team Champ! See, Smith is evidence, dreams do come true in the PCW if you work at it!
Jerry Andrews: Smith got lucky! He didn't earn anything! He didn't work at anything! Smith is just a lucky son of a bitch! And where is Smurf and Gato! This is a sad day in the legacy of their careers!
Mike Hunt: Their legacy? They have no legacy! Gato is best remembered as taco-munching, pot smoking loser. And Smurf is a loser overrall. Losing to his former partner Anthony Brown, and then losing to Jason Willard and Loco.
(Just then, the PCW-Tron then cuts on and it shows a far shot of Trifection {K-Muny, Glock Fine, and Sexay Jay}. Glock and Muny seem to have bandages on their heads as Jay is, I'm guessing, "macking" to some woman. After talking to her for a few seconds, Jay nods his head and then they part ways. As the trio begin making their way closer to the direction of the camera, PCW President Alejandro Walker jumps into the view from out of nowhere.)
Jerry Andrews: Look! It's "The Captain"!
Mike Hunt: Why the hell is he here! And what does he want!
Jerry Andrews: Well, he's the one who helped make the card...so...I guess he has a right to be here! As for what he wants, I have no clue. Now sshh and watch!
(Mr. Walker is standing directly in the path of Trifection in a T-Shirt with an image of himself in the front and some shorts and some sandals.)
Sexay Jay: Yo dawgs, look at this joka right here. Corny lookin ass dude. But yeah, sup Cap? What'cha want?
"The Captain" Alejandro Walker: Well, Jay, as a result of what Money...
K-Muny: ...that's Muny son!
Alejandro Walker: Whatever. As a result of what MUNY and Glock did earlier, they barred from ringside. And ya match next. Got it homeboy?
(The fans begin cheering as K-Muny and Glock Fine look at Jay with disbelief.)
Sexay Jay: Nah, son, see, my boys gots to be at ringside. They gots to help me celebrate when I win the World Title here tonight!
Alejandro Walker: You know what? I got a better idea. How bout instead of celebrating at ringside, you celebrate in the back IF you win the title? I think that works well. Now, if ya'll don't mind, Jay, get to the ring! Muny, go tell one of those techs to get me some food!
(The PCW-Tron fades out with Alejandro Walker walking past Trifection and then the trio staring blankly at one another.)
Jerry Andrews: I'm glad K-Muny and Glock Fine are barred from ringside. After what happened earlier...
Mike Hunt: ...after what happened earlier, Kyle Cross should be disqualified out of this entire Round Robin Series!
Jerry Andrews: *Sighs* You just don't get it. But oh well. Let's send it to Mark Long who's standing inside the ring!
