PCW Return to Glory
Sunday, July 17, 2005
Live on Pay-Per-View from the sold-out Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
(The feed opens up with an outside shot of the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South. Fans are still trying to plow into the arena, with the start of Return to Glory just minutes away. That should give you an idea how packed the arena will be tonight. All 20,000 seats have been purchased for, showing the demand for the Pure Class Wrestling promotion growing rapidly. Or it could be because the show has a match lineup of matches that should be chalked full of excitement. After the initial shot of the outside of the arena, camera feeds switch, and we are now inside of the arena. The thousands of fans in attendance casually chatting creates as much noise as one of the wrestler's entrances would have been, and they are so enthralled into their conversation that they lose focus of Mark Long standing in the ring. Mark, decked out in a full tuxedo, equipped with bow-tie, stands in the middle of the ring, with a microphone in his hand. After a brief adjustment to his tie, he begins to speak.)
Mark Long: Ladies and gentlemen...in roughly one minute, Return to Glory will begin!
(The fans are brought to attention at Mark Long's voice, and when he announced Return to Glory will be starting in just a minute, they rejoiced with cheers and whistles. Mark continues in his verbal excellence, but in the following statement, the pace he is speaking with picks up a notch.)
Mark Long: Before we start the event, I will like to inform everyone that videotaping and recording this show is strictly prohibited. The antics displayed in and out of this ring by PCW performers are not to be tried at home. It is extremely dangerous and should only be performed by professionals. No laser lights shall be allowed in the arena. If anyone is caught with one, they'll be escorted out of the building by security and will not receive any type of refund. All in all, sit back and enjoy the show.
(Mark takes a breath and continues.)
Mark Long: The show is starting...NOW!
(And instantly, the PCW-Tron comes on.
RETURN
After the word, "Return" pops up onto the screen, images of Kyle Cross, Pegasus, Slither, Tony Brass, and Josh McKylan are seen.
TO
Moments later the word, "To" pops up. Following those words are images of Sexay Jay, Ace Anderson, Chrissy Johnson, LoKi, and Mirage are seen. Just like the moments before, the images are cut off by another word.
Glory
This time the word is, "Glory". Sean Hunter, Maverick Stone, The Prophet, and then finally, as a still image comes up, Landon Divine. He's standing over a prone Slither, raising the PCW World Championship with his left arm, and his head titled to the Heavens cockily. All-the-while this is going on, "Scars" by Papa Roach, the official PCW Return to Glory theme song, had been playing in the background. The PCW-Tron clicks off, and a massive display of fireworks and pyrotechnics begin blaring throughout the Pure Class Arena. The fans are on their feet, cheering with a sense of unbridal passion. The camera feed shifts throughout the arena, highlighting signs like, "LANDON'S A LOSER", "CROSS IS EXTREME", "ALL HAIL THE PROPHET", and, "HUNTER 4 PREZ". As the camera continues to pan across the arena, we see Kyle Cross in the front row, with a jacket on. The jacket is unzipped and we can clearly see a white with black pin-stripe shirt on underneath- his referee shirt for later tonight! After the showcasing of the arena and the fans, the camera focuses on the broadcast table at ringside with Jerry Andrews and Michael Hunt. With the P.A. System lowering the volume on Papa Roach's "Scars", Jerry Andrews begins to speak.)
Jerry Andrews: The wait is over! Return to Glory is here! I'm Jerry Andrews and to my left is my broadcast colleague Michael Hunt. What an action packed night we have for you here! All PCW Titles WILL BE on the line!
Michael "Mike" "The Man" Hunt: It's going to be great Jerry! We got a Mirage and Aeris Almasy going at it in the opener, and we know that one has been boiling over for a few weeks.
Jerry Andrews: You can't talk about matches boiling over without mentioning the Pegasus-Prophet International Championship Match!
Mike Hunt: If I could use one of your words Jerry, that is definitely going to be a barn burner!
Jerry Andrews: That it is "Man"! We also got a an intense Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the PCW Tag Team Titles and then, in the Main Event, with a returning Kyle Cross as referee, we have Landon Divine defending his World Championship against Slither!
Mike Hunt: I can't wait for that, Jerry! We already saw Kyle Cross wearing a referee shirt when the cameras panned around the arena.
Jerry Andrews: I can't wait either! But we won't have to wait for the evening to kick off for, Mark Long is in the ring, preparing to get the evening started!
Match One: Grudge Match
Mirage vs. "Nature's Beauty"Aeris Almasy
Referee: Tim Jones
Mirage vs. "Nature's Beauty"Aeris Almasy
Referee: Tim Jones
(As the camera shifts from the commentators to the inside of the ring, we see Mark Long standing there, preparing the ring introductions.)
Mark Long: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is a Grudge Match!
(Fans cheer at the mere mention of the match type.)
Mark Long: There will be a 15 minute time limit. The rules to this contest is that there are no count-outs and No Holds Barred. Entering the ring first...
("My Goodies" by Ciara begins to play, and the arena suddenly becomes engulfed in a chorus of boos. From behind the entrance curtain steps Aeris Almasy. She is wearing what seems to be a pair of short shorts, and nicely fitted cut T-Shirt, and a pair of short cut wrestling boots.)
Mike Hunt: Aeris is definitely looking stunning tonight.
Jerry Andrews: Her facial features my be stunning, but her attitude makes her ugly.
Mark Long: ...Standing 5 feet, 7 inches and hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota..."Nature's Beauty"...Aeris Almasy!
(Aeris, who had been waiting until her name was said, now begins her decent down the entrance ramp. As she walks by, a few of the males in the crowd can be heard whistling and screaming sexual obscenities her way. She snarls at a few of them, but for the most part, continues her way to the ring. Once at ringside, she climbs up the ring steps and then goes through the second and bottom ropes. She walks over to the center of the ring, a few feet away from Mark Long and waits for her opponent. And she doesn't have to wait long, for, just moments later, "Goodies" fades out and "Rich Girl" by Gwen Stefani begins to blare throughout the arena. The fans, who would normally boo Mirage, are strangely drawn to cheer for her.)
Mark Long: And her opponent...from Hollywood, California...standing 5 feet and 5 inches...MIRAGE!
(Mirage then steps from behind the entrance curtain and, even though the fans are cheering her on, she looks mildly disgusted at the slight thought of them.)
Jerry Andrews: The fans have come to accept her, but she has yet to come and accept the fans.
Mike Hunt: She doesn't need to accept the fans, Jerry! She still has her money to fall back on!
(Mirage coolly walks down the entrance ramp, careful to not touch the fans. Her eyes are locked onto Aeris and, once she makes it halfway down the ramp, she sprints into the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. As she slides in though, she is met with a boot to the back by Aeris. Tim Jones immediately signals for the bell to sound- prompting the official start of the match.)
Jerry Andrews: Mirage was trying to get the match started right away, but Aeris beat her too it!
Mike Hunt: Aeris needs to try something! She's not even a wrestler for crying out loud! I beg you Mirage, don't hurt her pretty face! Matter fact, ya'll should just stop fighting all together! We should have had a bikini contest or something!
Jerry Andrews: I am sure you would have loved that "Man".
(Aeris continues to put the boots to Mirage, not allowing her to get onto her feet. She dives at Mirage and begins choking her, and sticking her fingers in her mouth, ripping her mouth open wide.)
Mike Hunt: I have something Aeris could put in Mirage's mouth that's similar to a finger.
Jerry Andrews: Watch it Mike! We still are a family show!
Mike Hunt: But we're on PPV baby! Woo!
Jerry Andrews: Mike, I'm not your baby!
Mike Hunt: Ah Jerry! You know what I meant!
(The referee is trying to tell Aeris to let Mirage go, but she doesn't have to listen, since this is no holds barred. After about of 30 seconds which must have seemed like an eternity for Mirage, Aeris breaks the hold. She lifts Mirage up by her hair and then whips her across the ropes.Mirage comes bouncing back, and when she does, she hits Aeris with a spear, igniting a huge roar of approval from the crowd. She begins to slam Aeris's head mercilessly into the mat. She then gets to her feet and picks Aeris up by the hair. She whips Aeris into the corner and then follows her in with a elbow to the head of Aeris. She then begins to chop Aeris's chest violently.)
Jerry Andrews: Mirage is paying Aeris back from their first week here in the PCW.
Mike Hunt: Yeah, we knew this one was going to get ugly.
(After each chop, the fans in the audience let off a loud, [/b]"WOOOO"[/i][/b]. After about five of these Mirage Scoop Slams Aeris onto the mat. She then climbs all the way to the top turnbuckle before jumping off in an attempted moonsault. But Aeris moves out the way at the last second, having Mirage crash down on the mat with a hard, "Thud!")
Jerry Andrews: Mirage went up for the high-risk maneuver and burned on that attempt.
Mike Hunt: And look! Aeris is going for the pin! She might have snuck this one out!
(As Mike was telling you, Aeris has indeed went for the pinfall. As Timmy goes for the count, he is only able to get a two count for Aeris. Aeris immediately gets up and starts complaining to the referee. The ref is clearly stating that the count was only a two, but Aeris is screaming at him, telling him it was a three. This gives Mirage enough time to get back onto her feet. She's now standing directly behind Aeris, much to the approval of the fans.)
Mike Hunt: Aeris...watch your back! Because I certainly am watching your back. And your abs. And your thighs. And...
Jerry Andrews: Get your brain out of the gutter, Mike!
(Mirage grabs Aeris's shoulder and swings her forwards, before delivering one heck of a slap. The, after kicking Aeris in the gut, Mirage lifts Aeris up and lays her out with a Widow's Peak!)
Jerry Andrews: Lasting Impressions! Lasting Impressions! This match is over!
Mike Hunt: What a devastating move!
(Mirage waste no time going for the pin and Timmy immediately followers her. One...two...three! The fans cheer as Mark Long announces the winner.)
Mark Long: The winner of the match...by pinfall...MIRAGE!
(But Mirage doesn't seem to be finished yet. She's been waiting to get her hands on Aeris for a month, and she isn't going to lose this opportunity just yet. She begins to pound away on Aeris, again slamming her head into the mat.)
Mike Hunt: I love a good catfight, but the match is over!
(As Aeris is trying to squirm away, Mirage grabs Aries's shirt, and rips it clearly off of her. The fans cheer loud as they now are getting to see Aeris Almasy shirtless. Aeris is able to slide out of the ring and begins scurrying up the aisle. The camera follows her, as she makes it into the backstage area, where she runs right into her charges Tony Brass and Sexay Jay. The two seem to be arguing about something, but before we are able to figure out what they were arguing about because Aeris immediately interrupts.)
Aeris Almasy: Where were you guys?!
"Pure Class" Tony Brass: We were back here...*sarcastically*...having a genuine discussion.
Sexay Jay: Yea, what Brass ass said!
(Tony turns and gives Sexay Jay a menacing look.)
Aeris Almasy: You guys were suppose to watch my back when I went out there!
Sexay Jay: Oh. How'd dat turn out fo ya?
(Aeris steps back and gives Jay and Brass a clear view of herself.)
Aeris Almasy: Does it look like I won?
Tony Brass: *chuckling*...if you didn't, I sure the hell have. What happened?
Aeris Almasy: I lost the match after the ref cheated me and then Mirage attacked me, ripping my shirt off!
Tony Brass: Well, if Jay wasn't back here running his mouth, I'd have been out there to help you.
Sexay Jay: Don't be startin no shit like that, yo! You was back here just poppin ya gums.
Aeris Almasy: Alright, LOOK! I've had just about enough of you two. Get your act together. Your match is next. Go win us the Tag Titles!
Sexay Jay: Aight shorty. I'll see if I can win this for us.
Tony Brass: I'll win this for us.
Aeris Almasy: I don't care. Just win the damn match!
(And with that, the camera switches back to the ring, where we have Mark Long standing there preparing to introduce the next match.)
Match Two: Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match
Josh McKylan (Champion) vs. "The Onslaught Assassin" Benjamin Banks & Ace Anderson vs. Sexay Jay & "Pure Class" Tony Brass
Referee: Travis Wilson
Josh McKylan (Champion) vs. "The Onslaught Assassin" Benjamin Banks & Ace Anderson vs. Sexay Jay & "Pure Class" Tony Brass
Referee: Travis Wilson
Mark Long: Our second match of the evening is a Triple Threat Challenge for the PCW World Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, weighing in at a combined weight of 534 lbs, they are 'The Onslaught Assassin' Benjamin Banks and Ace..ANDERSON!
(With this, pyro explodes as Benjamin Banks and Ace Anderson emerge from behind the curtain, ready to go at it for one of the most sought after prizes in Pure Class Wrestling- the Tag Team championships. Both of them quite green in PCW, they look to make a huge mark on the tag division this evening at Return To Glory. Sliding into the ring, they both go to opposite corners of the ring and begin to gesture and taunt at the crowd, getting them fired up for what was about to transpire.)
Mark Long: Introducing next, weighing in at a grand total of 428 lbs, the team of Sexay Jay...and 'Pure Class'...Tony BRASS!
(With this, both Tony Brass and Sexay Jay emerge from the backstage area. 'So Fresh, So Clean' blaring on the loud speakers as the pair make their way down the rampway towards the ring. Both of them stepping onto the apron now, four blasts of pyro shooting from the cornerposts as they step onto the apron. Staring out at the crowd, Jay wiggling his hips and thrusting his pelvis for the ladies, and Tony Brass flexing and showing off his incredible physique as he stands in the middle of the ring. Ace Anderson and Benjamin Banks not wasting any time whatsoever, both of them racing off towards the two men.)
Jerry Andrews: It looks like Banks and Anderson are wanting to get things started early, whether or not the champ is here yet!
Mike Hunt: Just like I thought. They're jealous of Trifection and Tony Brass' success! They're envious!
Jerry Andrews: Wow, you've been studying your words!
Mike Hunt: That's right, I-HEY!
(All four men trading punches in the ring, an all-our brawl ensuing, Travis Wilson is unable to gain control of the situation as Banks and Anderson begin to slowly get the upperhand on Jay and Tony Brass, backing them both into opposite corners. Giving each other a signal, they both whip their sparring partners towards the center of the ring, Jay and Brass meeting head to head which causes both of them to crash into each other and knock them to the mat.)
Mike Hunt: This match hasn't even gotten underway! The champ isn't here! Somebody get some order, please! Jay and Brass do NOT deserve to be treated this way!
Jerry Andrews: A little payback for a couple of weeks ago, Mike!
(Suddenly, 'My World' by BG cues up on the PA system as Josh McKlayn, with both belts on his shoulders begins to race towards the ring. The belts held tightly, he slides in under the bottom rope and drops the belts as he moves over to Sexay Jay and begins to lay into him with rights and lefts, rocking and reeling the Sexay One.)
Jerry Andrews: Well, ask and you shall receive Mike! There's one half of the tag teams champions, Josh McKlayn! And he's tearing into Sexay Jay!
Mike Hunt: NO! He's roughing up a bona fide musician! Somebody get security out here!
(Banks, Anderson and McKlayn all teaming up on Sexay Jay, a three on one attack, Travis Wilson forces his way into the mix and begins to break up the fighting. However, Tony Brass having snuck over to where the belts were dropped, waits for his opportunity before grabbing Josh McKlayn by the shoulder, turning him on his heel and nailing him right between the eyes with one of the championship belts.)
Jerry: What was that? Travis, disqualify Tony Brass! That was a vile shot to the head with the title belt! Somebody do something about this!
(T-Dub missing the shot to the head with the belt because of all the chaos in the ring, he signals for the bell to start the match as it's just Tony Brass and Josh McKlayn in the ring at the moment. Shaking the cobwebs from his head, Tony Brass falls on top of McKlayn and covers him, blood beginning to trickle down McKlayn's forehead. One....TWO....THREE! The champion is the first to be eliminated!)
Jerry Andrews: How sickening is that, Mike? The champion never even got the chance to defend himself properly! How can Tony Brass sleep at night knowing he screwed McKlayn out of a fair fight?
Mike Hunt: He probably sleeps on his stomach in a bed covered with hundreds of hundred dollar bills, Jerry! After all, he IS Pure Class!
Jerry Andrews: He's pure all right. But subtract the CL from Class, and...well, you get the picture!
(Brass struggling to his feet, Ace Anderson rushing into the ring and affording Brass no time to take a breather as he takes him to the mat with a quick side-leg takedown, mounting Brass and beginning to throw forearm after forearm to the face of Tony Brass.)
Jerry Andrews: That's what he deserves, Mike. Anderson is wailing away on Tony Brass!
Mike Hunt: No one deserves such brutality, Andrews! Except maybe you for saying Tony Brass deserves that beating!
(Anderson pulled off of Tony Brass, the referee warning him as Tony Brass crawls towards Sexay Jay, reaching a hand out to tag him in. After a few moments' hesitation, Jay finally makes the tag and stuns all as he races into the ring, still showing signs of fatigue, but his spirit still defiant as ever. Blindsiding Ace Anderson, Jay jumps off of the mat and soars through the air, nailing a flying cross body block onto Ace Anderson, both bodies crumpling to the floor with this. Jay popping back up, moving over to Benjamin Banks and giving him a shot for good measure.)
Mike Hunt: What a cross body block! Jay's come in like, in the words of my easily excited partner, 'a house on fire'. Isn't that right Andrews?
Jerry Andrews: For once, I agree with you there Mike. Jay has INDEED come in like a house on fire!
(Jay swiveling his hips to the ladies in the crowd, a cocky and arrogant grin stretched across his face, showing off four bright, platinum teeth on the bottom row, Mike commenting about Jay's magnificent 'bling-bling'. The action continuing, Jay begins to work Anderson over with a furious flurry of punches, kicks and taunts, leaving Anderson reeling from Jay's relentless attack.)
Mike Hunt: He keeps this up, he'll win the tag team titles FOR Brass! He's doing that much damage!
Jerry Andrews: Don't count Banks and Anderson out yet, Mike...they're not ones to be underestimated.
