PCW Deception
Sunday, August 28, 2005
Live on Pay-Per-View from the sold-out Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
(The fans in attendance here at the Pure Class Arena are buzzing with joy, excitement, and intrigue. In about twenty minutes, the highly anticipated PCW Deception PPV will be officially underway. Deception, as it's known, will be a turning point in the promotion, as all the PCW Championships, including the World and Tag Team Championships, will be on the line. And, in perhaps the most talked about match in PCW history, Angelica Night-Hunter will do battle with International Champion The Prophet in an Inferno Match. The Prophet has been torturing Angelica and her husband Sean Hunter for the better part of a month, and in the match the two have tonight, could be the ultimate decisive battle of good vs. evil. Indeed, the fans in attendance tonight has every right to be buzzing with excitement and emotion. But, as a special bonus treat for those who decided to fork over the extra money to watch Deception in person, there is a dark match, that'll be happening any minute now. As a matter of fact, Mark Long is just now climbing into the ring preparing to announce this special dark match)
Dark Match
No Disqualification Match
"Pure Class" Tony Brass vs. Crazy Boy {w/Aeris Almasy}
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: After the ring introductions, the match is officially underway. This being a No-Holds Barred Match, no move is illegal. No count-outs. Plain and simple, just as the match is entitled, No Disqualification! And we knew this wasn't going to be a wrestling match since the bad blood brewing between these two. In the upstart of the match, Brass and Crazy Boy went right at it. The two rolled around the ring, slamming eachother's heads into the mat and slugging away with one another. The two then rolled out of the ring and that's when the chaos broke out. For the next eight minutes, Brass and Crazy Boy exchanged blows on the outside, up the ramp, and through the stands. There was this one spot where Brass attempted to do a suplex on Crazy Boy onto Crazy Boy onto the concrete floor on the stands, but CB reversed it into a backdrop that crashed Tony Brass back first into steel barricade. For the next three minutes following that spot, Crazy Boy took it to Brass. Once the two made it back to ringside, Crazy Boy positioned Brass against the ring-post. Aeris then handed him his bat. But when he swung, he hit the pole, and it sent a not so pleasant vibration through his body. This gave Brass just enough time connect with a lariat clothesline. His attention then turned to Aeris, who started backpedaling. She was wearing a long, black skirt, and when she was backing up, she stepped on her own skirt, and ripped it, revealing that she isn't wearing any underwear, and in the process, also revealing her bare ass to the thousands in attendance. She begins running up the entrance ramp, much to the approval, and then disapproval, of many of the fans. Brass turns to where Crazy Boy is, and CB has his bat and swings it. It hits Brass right across the head, but also catches the bottom rope, and it bounces back and smacks Crazy Boy in the head. After a ten count from Referee Tim Jones, the match is over. Double Knock-Out.
Winner
(Following the No Disqualification Match, the official ruling is declared, and the fans begin booing at the outcome. But they will soon have many a reason to cheer, as Deception was only moments away. Standing in the ring is PCW's own Mark Long. Mark is, but of course, decked out in his black tuxedo, dress shoes, and tie, looking as professional as he can be with a microphone in his hand.)
Mark Long: Ladies and gentlemen...in roughly one minute, Deception will begin!
(The fans are brought to attention at Mark Long's voice, and when he announced Return to Glory will be starting in just a minute, they rejoiced with cheers and whistles. Mark continues in his verbal excellence, but in the following statement, the pace he is speaking with picks up a notch.)
Mark Long: Before we start the event, I would like to inform everyone that videotaping and recording this show is strictly prohibited. The antics displayed in and out of this ring by PCW performers are not to be tried at home. It is extremely dangerous and should only be performed by professionals. No laser lights shall be allowed in the arena. If anyone is caught with one, they'll be escorted out of the building by security and will not receive any type of refund. All in all, sit back and enjoy the show.
(Mark takes a breath and continues.)
Mark Long: The show is starting...NOW!
(And instantly, the PCW-Tron comes on.
DECEPTION
After the word, "Deception" pops up onto the screen, images of Slither, Pegasus, Angelica Night-Hunter, The Prophet, Sean Hunter, LoKi, Jake Sydal, and Ace Anderson, among others are seen. All-the-while this is going on, "Dancing for Rain" by Rise Against, the official PCW Deception theme song, had been playing in the background. The PCW-Tron clicks off, and a massive display of fireworks and pyrotechnics begin blaring throughout the Pure Class Arena. The fans are on their feet, cheering with a sense of unbridal passion. The camera feed shifts throughout the arena, highlighting signs like, "LANDON = LOSER", "SLITHER...SLITHER MY WAY", "PROPHET'S A PUSSY", and, "I LOVE WASHING MY LANDRY". As the camera continues to pan across the arena, we see "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght in the front row, as we have been seeing him there for the past few weeks. After the showcasing of the arena and the fans, the camera focuses on the broadcast table at ringside with Jerry Andrews and Michael Hunt. With the P.A. System lowering the volume on Rise Against's "Dancing for Rain", Jerry Andrews begins to speak.)
Jerry Andrews: The wait is over! Deception is here! I'm Jerry Andrews and to my left is my broadcast colleague Michael Hunt. What an action packed night we have for you here! All the PCW Championships WILL BE on the line!
Michael "Mike" "The Man" Hunt: Not only are all the PCW Championships going to be on the line, even the CWF World Championship will be This is going to be great Jerry! We got Rhodes McClure and Overdose taking on the Tag Team Champions in the form of Sean Hunter and Ace Anderson, who obviously don't like one another. So I'd like to see how that match will boil over.
Jerry Andrews: You can't talk about matches boiling over without mentioning the LoKi-Jake Sydal Title vs. Title Ladder Match!
Mike Hunt: If I could use one of your words Jerry, that one is definitely going to be a barn burner!
Jerry Andrews: That it is "Man"! We also got a an intriguing Bra and Panties Match between Chrissy Johnson and Angel Christiansan.
Mike Hunt: I can't wait for that, Jerry! We might get to see Chrissy in her Bra and Panties!
Jerry Andrews: *sounding disgusted*...But we might also get to see Angel in his Bra and Panties.
Mike Hunt: I retract my statement Jerry.
Jerry Andrews: We also got Pegasus taking on World Champion Slither for the Title. That one should be interesting. And don't forget, Slither will be having The Rocket watch his back in case anyone tries anything.
Mike Hunt: True enough. But, who does Slither have to worry about? The Prophet probably will be too busy preparing for his match against Angelica Night.
Jerry Andrews: I can't wait either of those matches! Prophet and Angelica will probably have your blood boiling.
Mike Hunt: Or atleast one of their flesh.
Jerry Andrews: Indeed. But we won't have to wait for the evening to kick off for, Mark Long is in the ring, preparing to get the evening started!
Match One: Tag Team Championship Match
Sean Hunter & Ace Anderson {Tag Team Champions} vs. "The Colossus" Rhodes McClure & Overdose
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Sean Hunter & Ace Anderson {Tag Team Champions} vs. "The Colossus" Rhodes McClure & Overdose
Referee: Roberto Garcia
(As the camera shifts from the broadcasters to the ring, we see Mark Long is standing in the center with a mic in his hand, preparing to my the introductions to the first match of the night.)
Mark Long: The first contest of the night is scheduled for one fall and is a Pure Class Tag Team Championship match. Announcing first the challengers.
(The arena goes dark and there is a settling of the crowd. Suddenly, the first cord of the, "Final Countdown" by Europe hits and as the song continues the crowd begins to get pumped up as a solitary white light begins to shine on the entrance way, where we find ?The Colossus? Rhodes McClure standing there glaring at the floor. He is wearing his wearing his normal black gear. Suddenly the song kicks into over drive and the lights flash on and so do some pyrotechnics from the ring posts. Rhodes begins to make his way towards the ring as he does his normal shakes and head rolls to loosen up a. He makes his way up the steel ring stairs and steps off onto the ring apron. He grabs the top rope, giving the crowd a quick look pass, the precedes to step through the ropes. Rhodes's music subsides as he steps towards his corner and a waits his partner. The trumpets of "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra begin to blare over the arena. Suddenly from the back, you see Overdose making a mad dash to the ring. He slides underneath the bottom rope, and spins into a one-eighty. The sliding out the out side. He is crazy eyed tonight as he scans the crowd. He approaches a heavy set man in the front row and fiercely points at him. The words, "You Suck" could faintly be heard and it looks like this fan doesn't like it and begins to rattle of so insults of his own. Overdose doesn't seem to care because he just walks away, and points out a few other that he thinks 'sucks'. He stops, and with his sadistic smile still facing the crowd he begins to crawl up the ring apron. He begins to shout more at the crowd but you can't quite make out what he's saying. As he enters the ring he places his bottle of pills under his corner, and begins to stare at ?The Colossus.?)
Mark Long: At a combined weight of four hundred and twenty pounds the challengers..."The Colossus" Rhodes McClure and...OVERDOSE!!!
(The crowd shows a mixed reaction to the announcement but there seems to be the same amount of cheers as there are boos.)
Jerry Andrews: Could these be our tag team champions?
Mike Hunt: We could! Especially after Rhodes's impressive victory last week.
Jerry Andrews: But I know one person that would disagree with that...
(Suddenly, without warning, "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead hits and at the entrance way is Ace Anderson running in place. He's wearing his black and red tights and then he sprints towards the ring and one of the PCW Tag Team Titles around his waist. Ace stops right in front of the ring, and gives his a opponents a quick look. Without warning he hops up to the ring apron and just as fast jumps over the top rope. Both Rhodes and Overdose bail out of the ring as Anderson gets to the corner. He climbs the turnbuckle, gives his belt two little slaps and raises his arms. At this time flashes of light comes from the crowd and the arena erupts. He goes to every corners and ?Ace of Spades?dies out. A count down appears on the big screen.

*BOOM*
Two large white sparks begin to shoot from the entrance way almost completely engulfing the stage. Right above them is slow motion highlights for Sean Hunter, as, "Not Listening" by Papa Roach begins to play. The first of them that shows up is Sean posing. While a few more flip by you catch one of Sean, in the middle of perfectly executing his move "Shattered Dreams". Still a few go by, you see one of Sean and his beautiful wife Angelica Night-Hunter, and finishing on Sean dropping someone with the Decapitator.)
Voice: Look, if you had one shot, one opportunity...
...To seize everything you ever wanted...
...One moment...
...Would you capture it or just let it slip?
(The sparks subside and there is Sean Hunter standing at the entrance way with the other PCW Tag Team title. Sean smiling and looking awfully smug up there on the center stage. He begins to make his way towards the ring as small spotlights race shoot rays of light up as he passes them. He is looking all around the crowd and is grinning to all of the people in their seats. Step by step he slowly walks up the ring stairs, walking straight and proper. He throws his one leg in the ring and thrust the rest of his body in with it. Hunter is still grinning at the audience as he makes his way to his corner. He passes right by Anderson, without even looking in Ace's direction. Hunter hops up onto the top turnbuckle and scans the crowd one last time. He begins to descend but then just lounges himself across the top rope.)
Mark Long: Now introducing to you, your Pure Class Wrestling Tag Team Champions. At a combined weight of five hundred and eighty-seven pounds. I give you Ace Anderson and Sean...HUNTER!!!
(The fans erupt once again.)
Jerry Andrews: How do these two ever expect to keep these titles, when they don't even acknowledge each other in the ring.
Mike Hunt: That?s what makes this exciting, hopefully they will fight each other right after the match.
(Roberto Garcia signals for the bell rings leaving "The Colossus" and Ace in the ring circling each other. The tie up and Ace takes the upper hand. He slips behind with a hammer lock forcing Rhodes to try and struggle out of the hold. Rhodes reverses with a hammer lock of his own, but before Rhodes could get comfortable Anderson quickly snapmares him to the mat. Ace securely has a sleeper locked in. Rhodes is trying to break the hold but at no success. Suddenly, shoots his legs up catching Ace with a leg choke and Anderson is now on the receiving side of the punishment. Ace then is able to break the leg choke and kip ups and so does Rhodes at the same time. The fans go nuts.)
Jerry Andrews: The fans always show a little appreciation for these two competitors.
(The two men back to their feet and begin to circle again and go for another lock up. This time instead of chaining McClure slips a nice hard knee into the gut of Ace doubling him over. Rhodes quickly utilizes the loss of wind of his opponent. Rhodes hooks in a front face lock and violently snaps Anderson with a suplex. Keeping on him Rhodes pick up Ace and whips him into the corner with Overdose. McClure grabs a hold of Ace, exposing his midsection, and tags out to his partner. Overdose steps in and gives a vicious kick to Anderson's ribs.)
Mike Hunt: That kick just took the wind out of me.
Jerry Andrews: I'll agree with that.
(Overdose brings Anderson to his feet and Irish whips him into the opposing ropes. Anderson some how reverses it and as Overdose comes flying back Ace picks him up over his head. He begins to push up and down with Overdose up in the air.)
Mike Hunt: It looks like Double A has caught his wind.
Jerry Andrews: Yeah, and now he's showboating with Overdose over his head...OHHH!!!! He just threw Overdose to what seems like ten feet in the air. What power!!!
(Overdose comes crashing down and bouncing off the mat like a basketball. Anderson starts to make his way to the corner to make a tag to Hunter, but Hunter jumps off the ring apron. Hunter the begins to shoo Ace match to the match. On the other side of the ring Overdose is crawling towards Colossus trying desperately to make a tag. Rhodes finally gets the tag and he just walks in as Roberto Garcia acknowledges the tag. Hunter just begins to point at Rhodes as he sneaks up on Anderson. Rhodes wraps his arms around Anderson's waist and executes a beautiful German Suplex, but after flips over Ace locking his legs over Ace's and using his arms to bridge. Roberto Garcia drops for the count. 1..2..Sean Hunter grabs the ref by the ankle and pulls him out of the ring stopping him form finishing the count. The ref turns and begins reprimanding Hunter for touching an official. Sean just brushes it off and begins to walk away and Garcia does not like the show of disrespect, and continues to yell at Hunter. Meanwhile, in the ring, Overdose has entered and it's now a two-on-one.)
Jerry Andrews: Now this isn't really fair, and Hunter is just causing his partner more pain.
Mike Hunt: Colossus and Overdose are just taking advantage of a good thing...NO REF!
(After a double suplex and a double power bomb McClure exits and Robert Garcia enters the ring again just in time for an Overdose cover. 1.. 2.. Kickout. Overdose then begins to climb the turnbuckle as Ace is flattened on the mat. Overdose jumps and connects with a double foot stomp on the chest of Anderson. Overdose lays in a few boots and lifts Ace up for The Addiction, Anderson slides down his back hooks Overdose with a release full nelson suplex. The fans erupt.)
Mike Hunt: The crowd sure did pop for that one.
(Both men are down and Roberto Garcia begins the count 1...2...3...4...Overdose begins to crawl towards his corner where Rhodes is reaching for a tag..5...6...Anderson is now trying to get to his corner as well...7...Overdose makes the tag and McClure rushes over and grabs Anderson's leg. He pulls him away from the corner, shattering his hopes of being able to tag his partner who has yet to even enter this match.)
Jerry Andrews: Ohh!! Come on Hunter!! You could have made that tag if you would have just reached out to Ace! This is what happens when two people can't communicate. Imagine working with someone every day that you cant stand.
Mike Hunt: Yeah tell me about it!
Jerry Andrews: Hey!!
(Mike Hunt shoots him a look and a little smile. Ace is in the middle of the ring now on his stomach and Rhodes locks in the STF with no where to go.)
Jerry Andrews: This could all be over here.
(Roberto Garcia is checking to see if Anderson will tap but nothing. Rhodes holds the move a bit longer and then breaks the hold. A bit frustrated he picks up Ace and whips him into the ropes. On the way back Anderson is caught with a devastating running clothesline after Rhodes bounced off the other ropes.)
Mike Hunt: And now he's dead!!!
(Rhodes quickly follows up with a cover. 1..2..3...no..Kickout!!)
Jerry Andrews: McClure can't believe it, he was so close of capturing those titles.
(McClure is astonished and can't believe what just happened. He is on his knees and he just pounces right up and picks up Ace. Rhodes leads Anderson to the corner and tags out to Overdose. The two men whip Anderson into the ropes and on the way back Anderson connects with a double flying clothesline. Exhausted, barely able to move, Anderson tries to get to his corner. As he pulls himself over Hunter turns his back on his partner.)
Mike Hunt: I guess Sean is just going to give the Tag Team Titles away.
(Hunter shoots Ace a look as he notices Overdose and Rhodes making their way to their feet. Suddenly, Sean reaches for the tag and connects. Sean jumps in there with guns blaring. He runs at Overdose and takes him out with a clothesline. Rhodes comes at him and catches a similar clothesline. Overdose is back up but goes right back down from a back body drop. McClure runs at Hunter and with one quick spin Hunter tosses The Colossus out to the floor area. McClure jumps back to his feet, but out of no where Ace Anderson runs up the turnbuckle and jumps off to the floor on top of McClure.)
Mike Hunt: Holy Shit!!! Did you just see that!
Jerry Andrews: Anderson just made the ultimate sacrifice to keep The Colossus out of the rest of this match.
(As Hunter spins back he almost instinctively catches Overdose in a front face lock and following his momentum executing a Spinning DDT. As the two men lay motionless on the floor Overdose is fighting to get back to his feet as Hunter is waiting setting him up. Staggering Overdose makes it to his feet and Hunter just places Overdose in the upright position and just drops with the Decapitator. Garcia drops for the count. 1..2..3. The crowd goes nuts.)
Mark Long: Your winners...and still Pure Class Wrestling Tag Team Champions...Ace Anderson and Sean HUNTER!!!
(Referee Roberto Garcia hands Sean Hunter his title, but before he can hand Ace his, Hunter grabs the other title and raises both belts high in the air.)
Jerry Andrews: That belt belongs to Ace.
Mike Hunt: Well, Hunter basically won this match. He deserves to hold both titles.
(As Ace rolls into the ring, Hunter is still holding the belts in the air. Ace walks to Hunter, and tries to tell him to give him his belt, but Sean ignores him and continues to celebrate. He then tries to walk out of the ring, but Ace puts a hand on Sean's shoulder, stopping Sean from escaping the ring. Sean leans forward, and then, as if he's saying, "Ah. I get it," he grabs the other belt, and offers to hand it to Ace. Ace reaches out, and Sean drops it onto the mat. As Ace is leaning over to pick it up, Sean exits the ring, to a mic of boos and cheers, more cheers than jeers however. The camera then cuts to the commentators.)
Jerry Andrews: Sean's arrogance is overbearing at times.
Mike Hunt: In certain instances, just as the one we just witnessed, Sean has a right to be arrogant. He basically defended the Tag Titles by himself.
Jerry Andrews: Not true. Ace wrestled almost the entire match. Sean refused the tag on a few ocassions.
Mike Hunt: That's just because he wanted to make sure everyone knew he had to be the savior of this team.
Jerry Andrews: Well, whatever it is...these two are going to have to get along if they're planning on being a team.
Mike Hunt: I don't think they're planning on being a team. I think they're being forced to tag, and once it's over, it's over.
Jerry Andrews: Well, whatever the case may be. They're our PCW Tag Team Champions. They're going to team. But that's another story for another time. Right now, it's time for our next match.
Mike Hunt: Yeah, the disturbing Angel against Chrissy in a Bra and Panties Match.
Jerry Andrews: Let's kick it to Mark Long in the ring.
