Live on Pay-Per-View from the sold-out Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
(The anticipation is evident by the deafening chatter from the crowd throughout the Pure Class Arena. And they have every right to be anxious, for there is a star-studded lineup prepared for tonight. As a different camera angle comes into view, so that the people in attendance have an idea how big this event is, we notice that the loud chatter in the P.C. Arena could possibly get louder, as an outside view shows that there are still lines of hundreds trying to enter the arena. While we still have an outside view, a large banner that is hung from the top of the arena is focused on- the words, "Sold-Out." The camera view then turns back to the arena, and then the PCW-Tron cuts off. The fans here in the Pure Class Arena are lucky, for unlike the fans that will be tuning into the PCW product in about twenty minutes for the live Living a Legacy Pay-Per-View, the fans in attendance will witness a special dark match. In this dark match we'll see two people who have made it to the Semi-Finals of The Icemann Invitational Tournament and a relative newcomer to the PCW, so it should be an entertaining match. As a matter of fact, we can see Mark Long, looking as professional as ever, climb up the ring steps and then through the middle and top ropes. With a mic in his hand, Mark begins the announcements for the first match of the evening.)
Dark Match
Triple Threat Match
"The Truth" Jorge Garcia vs. Non Compos Mentis vs. Maddog
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: After the three were introduced, the bell was heard, and the match officially began. Jorge and Non Compos Mentis seemed to be working as a cohesive unit at the beginning of the contest, as they double teamed Maddog for the first three or so minutes. But when "The Truth" tried to take control of the situation by delivering a cheapshot to the back of the head of NCM, the match finally went to it's initial purpose- a one on one on one. For the next few minutes, we seen each man take control of the match at one point or another, putting on a fine match for those in attendance. But, it was at around the eleven minute mark when Maddog was able to capitalize off of a NCM mistake that he was able to pick up the win. When Non Compos Mentis had been going for a PileDriver, Maddog reveres it and backdrops him right out of the ring. Jorge, who had been on the mat following a PileDriver given my NCM, walks right into the Dog Attack by Maddog, who then quickly traps him in the ankle biter. Jorge has no other option to tap out, just as Non Compos Mentis was sliding into the ring.
Winner(s): Maddog via submission after making Jorge Garcia tap-out
(As Roberto Garcia, who had been the official for the last match, raises the victor's hand, the PCW-Tron cuts on, and as, "Rooster" by Alice in Chains plays, which is the Living a Legacy theme song, images of some of the wrestlers featured tonight are shown. The footage of Slither, Angelica Night-Hunter, Sean Hunter, LoKi, and "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght receive the biggest pops. On the other side of the spectrum, the footage of The Prophet, Ace Anderson, Pegasus, and the combination of Javier Tovioli and Gaz Black receive the largest jeers. The PCW-Tron then cuts off, as the hype video for Living a Legacy had faded out. The camera then pans the arena, catching the thousands of PCW fans on their feet, cheering at the top of their lungs, anticipating the festivities of the evening. After a good few seconds of panning around the arena, and the usual pyrotechnics display, the camera turns it's focus towards the commentator pairing of Michael "The Man" Hunt and Jerry Andrews. As, "Rooster," fades in volume strength, Jerry Andrews begins to speak.)
Jerry Andrews: Welcome everybody to Living a Legacy! I'm Jerry Andrews and to my left is my broadcast colleague Michael "The Man" Williams. What an amazing night of action we have for you tonight, as The Icemann Invitational Tournament concludes, aswell as every PCW championship being on the line.
Michael "The Man" Hunt: For once Jerry, you're right! From the North American to the World, every PCW Championship will be on the line. But who walks out with a belt at the end of the night will be the big question.
Jerry Andrews: The question I want to have answered is what The Prophet knows about Angelica and Whisper that we don't.
Mike Hunt: All I know is that it must have been something good for Angelica and Whisper to have been removed from Trauma last week. Here's another question, will Angelica and Whisper even be allowed to wrestle here tonight?
Jerry Andrews: That's been a rumor that has been floating around the Internet all week. But we'll have to wait to find out. I sure know I'd love to see Angelica and Whisper go up against The Prophet.
Mike Hunt: I'm sure if The Prophet has it his way, that definitely won't be happening.
Jerry Andrews: You're right, Mike.
Mike Hunt: I'm always right. It's a God-given talent.
Jerry Andrews: Uh-huh. Before we get to tonight's matches, let's switch gears for a moment and talk about the main event for this evening; the Four-Way Elimination Match that features Slither and Pegasus both defending the World Title against eachother and Sean Hunter and The Rocket. But the real kicker of that match will be Landon Divine's participation. What will he do? What is his motive? Will he call it down the middle?
Mike Hunt: I'm sure Landon will call it directly down the middle. I don't see why he wouldn't!
Jerry Andrews: Well, you've seen how he has been showing up as of late, wearing a referee shirt at the last few Traumas and making the right calls. I just hope he doesn't let his past with Sean Hunter and Slither sway his ability to call a fair match.
Mike Hunt: I think everyone is worrying for nothing. But, either way, it doesn't matter, because we all know Pegasus will walk in the rightful PCW World Champion and walk out the rightful PCW World Champion.
Jerry Andrews: We'll have to just wait and see on that, but if I had to put my money on someone, it'd definitely be Slither. He's been on a roll as of late, and I can't see him letting any of the other three walk out with his World Championship.
Mike Hunt: You're suppose to be biased, Jerry! You really need to stop showing favoritism in Slither's favor.
Jerry Andrews: Wasn't you just saying how Pegasus is going to walk in and then leave Living a Legacy the PCW World Champion?!
Mike Hunt: That was different!
Jerry Andrews: How so?
Mike Hunt: *Shuffling around*...It's time to get to our first match, Jerry! Mark Long is in the ring, prepared to make the introductions.
Match One: Fatal Four-Way North American Championship #1 Contender's Match
Chrissy Johnson vs. Zellmo vs. Mark Lightning vs. Ender Slyth
Referee: Travis Wilson
Chrissy Johnson vs. Zellmo vs. Mark Lightning vs. Ender Slyth
Referee: Travis Wilson
(Mark Long is seen standing in the ring, dressed in his black tuxedo, with a microphone in hand. He fixes his bow-tie as he begins the introductions.)
Mark Long: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit. The rules to this contest are simple, the first person to score a pinfall or submission victory will win the match and receive a shot at the North American Championship on the next edition of Trauma.
(The arena goes black, as a faint neon blue light shines at the top of the entrance ramp. The opening riff of, "Black Label" by Lamb of God sounds off. The fans go into a craze as the lights grow into a series of explosions, and a light blue haze sets over the arena.)
Mark Long: Introducing first...standing six feet, nine inches tall and weighing in at a remarkable three hundred and forty-five pounds...from Smyrna, Delaware..."Defman"...ENDER SLYTH!
(Defman steps out from behind the entrance curtain and onto the top of the rampway. Slowly he walks down the entrance ramp, and when he reaches the ring, he slides into it.)
Mike Hunt: I really don't know what to think about this guy, Jerry. He seems a bit odd, but the fans seem to have a liking to him.
Jerry Andrews: Ender is a very strange person, but as you said, the fans do seem to like him. He was a former GCG World Champion, so the talent is certainly there, but this is a whole new ball-game. We'll have to see what he can do here in the true ranks of the PCW, and this may be the chance to impress the front office. And of course, with a win, he'll be either facing off against LoKi or Ace Anderson, whichever walks out The Icemann Invitational Tournament winner and the North American Champion. It should be interesting how Defman holds himself tonight.
(Ender walks to the closest turnbuckle and sits on it, as he awaits the rest of the participants of the contest. His wait isn't too long, as the arena lights go down and "THE FREAK ZELLMO" is screamed through the P.A. System, taking the place of "Black Label" which was just playing.)
Mark Long: And one of his opponents...measuring in at six feet and weighing two hundred and twenty-five pounds...from Crewe, England, but now residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada..."The Freak"...ZELLMO!
(The scream, being recognizable as Zellmo's is echoed around the arena right before, "Don't You Wish You Were Me" by Chris Jericho begin to play. Green spotlights begin to flash around the arena, as the audience gives Zellmo a standing ovation. As the green mist fills the entrance stage, Zellmo suddenly jumps through the it with the lights coming slightly up and the spotlight focuses on Zellmo.)
Mike Hunt: Impressive entrance he has there. Even if I think he's garbage.
Jerry Andrews: I don't know all about that Mike. Though he hasn't picked up a win, he has been impressive in the ring.
Mike Hunt: Only if by impressive, you meant he was impressively horrible.
(Zellmo taunts by raising both his arms in the air and green sparkles shoot up in front of him. Zellmo is wearing a pair of black jeans and modeling a T-shirt which is black and on the front has a picture of Zellmo with a green devil around him and green gothic print with the words, "Let Your Rage Be Set Free". On the back of the shirt, in gothic-esque print is the words, "The Freak Zellmo." He then walks down the entrance ramp, slapping the hands of the fans. Once Zellmo reaches the ring he slides in under the bottom rope and taunts. The taunts are followed by him running up the turnbuckle the furthest from him and taunting some more; Ender just sits on his perch and watches Zellmo's over-ambitiousness.)
Jerry Andrews: Zellmo seems pumped for action here tonight.
Mike Hunt: Well...it's not going to matter. He'll probably just lay down and try and feel on Chrissy's butt again.
Jerry Andrews: I was wondering on that. What was that about? That's not "The Freak" I've read about.
Mike Hunt: You just said it, Jerry- Zellmo's a freak! I'm pretty sure that was the only way he was going to get his hands on Chrissy- by forcing them on her!
("Don't You Wish You Were Me" slowly begins to fade out as the arena goes dark, and "Nobody's Real" by Powerman 5000 hits. White strobe lights then shine through the crowd, and also at the stage. Lightning comes out and walks up to the stage and stops. The fans go nuts and cheer him on as he embraces them, waving his arms towards his chest.)
Mark Long: And their opponent...from Manhattan, New York...standing in at six feet tall and weighing in at two hundred and thirty-five pounds...MARK LIGHTNING!
(Mark then spreads eagle and throws his arms up. At this point, twin lightning bolts will strike down on each side of the stage, equidistant from Lightning, causing a booming noise and smoke to fill up from the explosion.)
Mike Hunt: WOW! That's just deafening, Jerry!
(Mark holds for a few seconds, then goes down the ramp, high-fiving the fans. He goes up the steps, then lunges himself over the top rope and lands and bounces on the mat a few times. He goes to all four turnbuckles and climbs and raises his arms to pose for the crowd, who react in cheers. He then goes into a corner, psyching himself up while he waits for Chrissy to be announced and the match to begin. "You Don't Really Know Me" by Lillian Garcia begins to play and, from behind the entrance curtain, Chrissy Johnson walks out onto the entrance stage followed by a chorus of boos.)
Mark Long: From Duryeah, Pennsylvania...standing five feet, four inches...CHRISSY JOHNSON!
(And with the mention of her name, Chrissy springs towards the ring, and once reaching the ring, slides in and immediately goes after Zellmo. Ring announcer Mark Long scurries out of the ring, as referee Travis Wilson immediately calls for the bell. As the bell is sounded, Ender jumps off the turnbuckle and catches Mark Lightning with a double axe handle from the top. Mark immediately falls hard onto the mat and Ender turns his attention to Chrissy and Zellmo. He immediately inserts himself in the two's business and, in just as fast of a manner, gets doubled-teamed by Chrissy and Zellmo.)
Mike Hunt: That should show Ender to not get in other people's business.
Jerry Andrews: If they're in the match, it is his business.
Mike Hunt: Don't be such a wiseguy, Jerry. You knew what I meant.
(Chrissy and Zellmo both had delivered a clothesline on Ender and now are stomping away with him while he is on the mat. But, surprising them, was Mark Lightning, who had gotten back up to his feet and immediately went where the action was. He spun Zellmo around and tossed him out of the ring and is now staring Chrissy Johnson in the face. Chrissy goes to slap him across the face, but Mark Lightning ducks under it and shoves her straight through the ropes. Ender, who was on the mat, reaches up and grabs Mark from behind, getting him in a school boy. Referee Travis Wilson goes down for the count, but isn't even able to get a one count.)
Jerry Andrews: Way too early in this match for Ender and try to pick up a win here.
Michael Hunt: You never know, Jerry. He could have surprised Mark enough to get that three count.
Jerry Andrews: But he didn't, and the match continues.
(Chrissy and Zellmo are on the outside fighting as Ender and Mark are slugging at it in the ring.)
Jerry Andrews: We hate to take you from this match, but we're getting word that something is going on backstage.
(The camera feed changes from the action of the match going on to the backstage area where we see Gaz Black and Javier Tovioli, the PCW Tag Team Champions, attacking Chameleon. They're slamming him all around the backstage area, into pipes and steel structures. Gaz grabs a pipe and smashes it right into the face of Chameleon, busting him right open. At this moment, "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght comes running into the scene with a lead pipe in hand. This causes the Tag Champs to scurry off. Mikey checks on his partner and yells for some help, swearing at disgust and wondering what he's going to do now that his partner is seemingly out of the match, and their match is following the match in progress. Speaking of which, the feed changes back to the action at hand, similar to where we left off at last view- with Chrissy and Zellmo slugging it away outside the ring and Mark Lightning, now taking it to Ender Slyth who is holding his knee, inside the ring.)
Jerry Andrews: What is Mr. Showtime going to do now? His partner was just attacked by the Tag Champs!
Mike Hunt: He's going to have to do what he has to in order to try and pick up a win. I know the Tag Champs did!
Jerry Andrews: Those are sort of under handed tactics wouldn't you say?
Mike Hunt: Whatever works, works!
Jerry Andrews: Back to calling this match, during that video switch, Mark Lightning has really been putting a hurt on Ender Slyth, picking apart the already injured lower half of Ender.
Mike Hunt: And Chrissy and Zellmo have been going at it back and forth for awhile now.
(At that moment, someone stands up from the crowd and reaches out for Chrissy. When Chrissy turns her head, she is surprised to see that it is someone she knows very well. His name is Kenny Ifrit Douglas, better known to the wrestling world as KID. And what else is known is that KID has some sort of attraction to Chrissy. Chrissy's face seems shocked and then KID reaches out and forces a kiss onto her. This pisses Zellmo off, and Zellmo dives straight over the guard-rail, attacking KID. The two go at it, with Chrissy looking on. Inside the ring, Mark Lightning traps Ender Slyth into The Manhattan Crab, forcing Ender to instantly tap out, that knee obviously causing him to tap out as fast as he did. The bell sounds and Mark Long announces the winner.)
Mark Long: And your winner...MARK LIGHTNING!
("Nobody's Real" by Powerman 5000 begins as Referee Travis Wilson raises his arm. Chrissy stares into the ring, noticing she was just cost the match. Anger comes onto her face as she jumps the barricade and begins slugging away at Zellmo and KID. Security breaks the three apart, as Mark Lightning continues to celebrate. The camera view then switches to Jerry and Mike at ringside.)
Jerry Andrews: KID making his presence felt here at Living a Legacy, and some may say costing both Zellmo and Chrissy a chance at winning the match. And now Mark Lightning is going to get a chance to face the winner of LoKi and Ace Anderson at Trauma [24].
Michael Hunt: What a way to start off Living a Legacy, Jerry! Chameleon getting attacked, KID showing up, and Mark Lightning picking up a win, so far, the show has started off great.
Jerry Andrews: But I can only wonder what is going to happen in the next match. Mr. Showtime is going to have a huge disadvantage, as we just found out that Chameleon will NOT be able to compete.
Match Two: Tag Team Championship Match
Gaz Black & Javier Tovioli vs. "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght &Chameleon ??
Referee: Eddie Lane
[/b]Gaz Black & Javier Tovioli vs. "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght &
Referee: Eddie Lane
(The feed changes to inside the middle of the ring, where Mark Long is standing there preparing to make the introductions.)
Mark Long: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Pure Class Wrestling Tag Team Championship. Introducing first, the champions. Weight in at a combined weight of 450 pounds, they are the team of Gaz Black and Javier Tovioli!!
(As Mark Long finishes his introduction, another voice can be heard. "One, two, he's coming for you!... three, four, he's gonna knock on your door... Smoke engulfs the stage as "The Outsider" by A Perfect Circle begins to play. The PCW-Tron becomes lit up with the words "Gaz Black", spiraling around the screen, brightly flashing. Action shots play behind the flashing name, and red and purple lights flash at the entrance way as Gaz Black makes his way from behind the curtain, wearing a long, black, sleeveless jacket. He stands tall at the ramp and does a crucifix like pose to the fans who boo the hell out of him. He walks out further onto the ramp and and stares out at the booing fans. He adjusts his wrist pads and begins to walks down the rampway. Stopping again, halfway down the ramp, Gaz lets out a raven like pose as the pyro explodes. Gaz carries on walking, this time all the way down the rampway. He stops at the bottom of the ramp, outside of the ring, and waits for his partner. "The Kids Aren't Alright" by The Offspring begins to play loudly, as the lights go out. Light blue lights begin to scan the stage, and Javi Tovioli appears. He crosses his arms in an "X", and then pulls them down. He then joins his partner at the bottom of the ramp, and they both slide into the ring. They begin to talk in the corner, most likely about how they'll only be facing one man tonight.)
Jerry Andrews: Look at them in the ring, laughing about it. They're not real champions.
Mike Hunt: Real champions do what they have to do to win the match Jerry.
Jerry Andrews: I think I heard that one somewhere before Mike.
Mark Long: Ladies and gentlemen, the challenger, "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght!!
("Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys begins to play as the fans erupt into cheer and the arena goes dark. A single spotlight shines down on the ramp, and "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght is standing on the ramp, with Perfection on his left. Showtime raises his arms and crosses them, both hands making a "W" with his fingers. He pulls his arms down and a pyro goes off behind him. He makes his way to the ring, followed by Perfection. Showtime struts to the ring slowly, giving the fans a taste of his trademark grin. He stops at the bottom of the ramp, and looks into the ring, as Gaz and Javi are signaling for Showtime to get into the ring.)
Jerry Andrews: Mikey Wryght really looks prepared for this match, but do you think he can pull it off without his partner, Chameleon?
Mike Hunt: No matter how prepared you are, it's never easy to defeat two men.
Jerry Andrews: Nobody forget that they did defeat The Prophet and Pegasus in their very first match in PCW.
Mike Hunt: They won't let us forget it Jerry.
(Mr. Showtime is about to attempt to get into the ring, but then, surprising to everyone in attendance, "Nobody's Real" by Powerman 5000 begins to play. Mr. Showtime stops and walks back towards the ramp. The arena lights go out, and white strobe lights begin to scan the arena as well as the stage. Mark Lightning comes out from behind the curtain, and stops on the stage. The fans begin to go insane, and he embraces it all, waving his arms toward his chest, taking it all in. He spreads eagle and throws out his arms. When his arm go up, two lightning bolts shoot out to each side of the stage, causing a huge boom and smoke to billow up around the stage. Lightning pauses, and then strolls down the ramp, high-fiving the fans, and stops to talk to Mr. Showtime.)
Mark Long: Ladies and Gentlemen, now making his way to the ring, Mark LIGHTNING!!!!!
Mike Hunt: What in the hell is Mark Lightning doing here? He's not supposed to be in this match.
Jerry Andrews: Well this match isn't supposed to be a handicap match either.
Mike Hunt: Hey look, I think they agreed on something.
