PCW Mass Destruction
Sunday, February 5, 2006
Live on Pay-Per-View from the sold-out MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada
(Dozens upon dozens; hundreds upon hundreds; thousands upon thousands. The MGM Grand is beginning to fill-in quite nicely for the biggest Pay-Per-View on the PCW calendar, Mass Destruction. On the outside of the arena, there are hundreds of fans who are without tickets for tonight's event, but are so desperately trying to buy some from a scalper or two. But anyone in their right mind wouldn't part with tickets if they have them, because no one should want to miss out on all the action that is surely going to be packed into tonight's show. After a few moments, the view gets changed into the inside of the arena, where just about everyone has found their seats. Less than two minutes later, Mark Long is standing inside the ring, decked out to the core. He lets out a large smile and then raises the microphone that is in his right hand to his lips, and then begins to speak.)
Mark Long: Ladies and gentlemen...in roughly one minute, the PCW will present to you...Mass Destruction!
(The fans, who are already stoked, start cheering and applauding in appreciation, knowing that this historic event will begin in only moments. Mark takes a deep breath before he continues, and the pace in which he was speaking in originally, speeds up.)
Mark Long: Before we start the event, I would like to inform you that videotaping and recording this show is strictly prohibited. Also, laser lights are not allowed in the arena. If anyone is caught with one, they'll be escorted out of the building by security and will not receive any type of refund. And last but certainly not least, the antics displayed in and out of this ring are extremely dangerous and are performed by trained professionals. You should not try this at home. All in all, sit back and enjoy the show.
(Mark takes a a quick breath and continues.)
Mark Long: The show will be starting...NOW...with a special bout just for you all in attendance. Melissa Malone will be squaring off against Howard Bo Osborn.
Dark Match: Singles Match
Melissa Malone vs. HBO
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: Both competitors made their way to the ring, HBO first, then Melissa. Once in, the match began. Melissa Malone immediately assaulted the rookie, and, was characteristically, swift with her attack. The entire match lasted under four minutes, with Melissa Malone relentless against her male counterpart. After a Malone Sweeper, she locked in the Walk No More and forced HBO to tap-out. Melissa Malone goes on to pick up her first Pay-Per-View appearance win at the 3 minute and 29 second mark.
Winner
(As both competitors leave the ring, a video begins to play on the PCW-Tron; it's purpose is hyping the event. "Wings of a Butterfly" by H.I.M., which is the official Mass Destruction theme song, plays throughout the video, and the fans are becoming more and more psyched, just ready to burst here tonight. The video itself features highlights of the PCW since the last PCW Pay-Per-View, which was Deadly Intentions, until just this past Trauma. After the video, the feed cuts to the entrance stage and massive fireworks and pyrotechnics begin to go off, bringing the crowd to their feet in awe. After the camera pans around the arena, pointing out such signs as, "STORMM'S MY INSPIRATION", "JOHNNY! BUY ME A DRINK", "ACE IS A HOMO", "PROPHET'S A PUSSY", "PEGASUS: GOD'S CHOSEN ONE", "LOKI'S MY IDOL!", "GARBAGEMEN 4 PRESIDENT", the feed cuts to Jerry Andrews and Michael "The Man" Hunt at ringside.)
Jerry Andrews: Ladies and gentlemen...welcome to Mass Destruction! The biggest event in Pure Class Wrestling's history is finally here. I'm Jerry Andrews and to my left is my broadcast colleague Michael "The Man" Hunt.
Michael "The Man" Hunt: Let me first say that I have made it official. I've been having a legal battle about my name so, in conclusion, I am converting back to my birth-name rather than my stage-name, and I will from now on be known as Michael "The Man" Williams. I just thought I'd make it known on the biggest stage of them all.
Jerry Andrews: Well, if you were going to make an announcement, making it on the biggest stage of them all would be the most beneficial.
Michael "The Man" Williams: Yes. I know this. Hence the reason I made the announcement here. Haven't you been listening to what I was saying?
Jerry Andrews: Apparently. But even though I was listening, there is no way I could focus on your news and your news alone. We are at Mass Destruction! Can you not hear the crowd, Mike? The cheering is deafening!
Michael Williams: Indeed it is. So I can understand that. And there's definitely a reason for them to be cheering the way they are. In just moments, we will be witnessing star-studded action and the event is surely going to rock!
Jerry Andrews: You just said rock, Mike?
Michael Williams: Indeed I did. I picked it up while listening to Mass Destruction's theme song.
Jerry Andrews: That's right. We want to thank H.I.M. for allowing us to use the song "Wings of a Butterfly" off their new album Dark Light. Make sure you go pick that up. It's definitely a must-hear.
Michael Williams: Yeah. The song is awesome. I'm sure the album is aswell.
Jerry Andrews: But now that we got that out of the way, let's begin talking about tonight's event. In the Main Event we have Ace Anderson defending his World Championship against a true legend in this sport, Justin "Stormm" Michaels.
(A match image flashes onto the screen as Jerry Andrews continues to talk.)
Jerry Andrews: Justin has been nothing short of impressive since his return to active competition but, we know, that Ace Anderson is not looking to hand-over his title at all.
(The image fades out and we're once again greeted with the faces of Mike and Jerry.)
Michael Williams: Well, I will agree with you when you say Justin has been impressive, because he has. But, let me ask you, how many wins does Mr. Michaels hold over Mr. Anderson? If I am not mistaken, not one. And I definitely don't see him being able to defeat Mr. Greatness in the Flesh himself. Should be an easy victory for our World Champion.
Jerry Andrews: Everyone knows tag competition is much different than singles...
Mike Williams: *interrupting*...not really. It all comes down to one key ingredient: who picks up the win at the end of the match. And in the cases of the Stormm and Anderson confrontations, Ace Anderson was on the receiving end of those wins. And that's all that counts.
Jerry Andrews: I suppose that has some truth in it, but you knew what I was getting to. But moving on, there are quite a few other key matches here tonight aswell. Bison will be making his return to the PCW against another new recruit here in the PCW in the form of M.V.P.
Mike Williams: Should be interesting.
Jerry Andrews: Then Johnny Vivacious takes on the current North American Champion in Non Compos Mentis. Those two have been going at it since Vivacious' debut in the PCW.
Mike Williams: You got to love, Johnny. He's charismatic. He's charming. He's ruthless. He's cocky. He's talented. He's...
Jerry Andrews: *interrupting*...unruly and disrespectful!
Mike Williams: Yeah, he's that too. But he's definitely more appropriate of a representative of Pure Class Wrestling than a homeless garbageman.
Jerry Andrews: Well, I don't think Non Compos Mentis is or was a garbageman, but I know he's not ashamed of his humble beginnings and I think he is a man the PCW and the fans can be proud of.
Mike Williams: If you like crazy people, then I'd guess you were right.
Jerry Andrews: What I do know I'm right about is that the Four-Person Gauntlet Match to declare the new PCW World Championship number one contender should definitely be not one to miss.
Mike Williams: My early predictions for the match? Well, I can't give a sure-fire winner, but I do know it will either be "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght or The Prophet who walks out the new number one contender.
Jerry Andrews: Well, saying it's going to be Mikey Wryght could be a safe bet. You know, if nothing else, Mikey will be one of the last two in that ring, and he'll be, more than likely, the freshest man in the match. So he clearly has an advantage.
Mike Williams: That he does. Sometimes, it really is great to be friends with the owner.
Jerry Andrews: And the match that may just very well steal the show tonight is definitely the LoKi-Grimm International Championship Match. Both those competitors have it in them to be future World Championship...
Mike Williams: *interrupting*...but neither of them are. However, Grimm, the "Abomination of Desolation" definitely is my clear cut favorite to win this match. He just has...it.
Jerry Andrews: We're not suppose to have favorites, Hunt.
Mike Williams: The name is Williams! Are you trying to get me sued?!
Jerry Andrews: Sorry, sorry.
Mike Williams: You should be!
Jerry Andrews: Well, one thing I am not sorry about is the Tag Team Championship Match that Mark Long is just about to introduce.
Mike Williams: Yes, should be a good one. I'm looking forward to it.
Jerry Andrews: Well, let's send it to Mark in the ring so we don't have to wait. Mark!
(The feed cuts to Mark Long, who is standing in the ring, preparing to introduce the next bout.)
Match One: Four-Way Tag Team Championship Match
Chrissy Johnson & Maddog {Champions} vs. Unbesiegbar vs. Slither & Austin "The Shark" Majesky (w/Benjamin Banks) vs. S.I.N.
Referee: Tim Jones
Chrissy Johnson & Maddog {Champions} vs. Unbesiegbar vs. Slither & Austin "The Shark" Majesky (w/Benjamin Banks) vs. S.I.N.
Referee: Tim Jones
Mark Long: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the PCW Tag Team Championships!
(A loud roar of approval is heard as Mark continues.)
Mark Long: This match will have a twenty-minute time-limit. The rules are as followed: the wrestler who scores the first pinfall or submission victory will win their team the Tag Team Titles. If a person is caught using an illegal maneuver, a foreign object, and/or anything that would normally disqualify them, their team will be sent to the back and no longer able to compete in this contest. There can only be two legal competitors in the ring at a time and you are able to tag anyone on the apron, teammate or not. Now...making their entrance first...
("The End of Heartache" by Killswitch Engage begins to play and from behind the entrance curtain, Slither, Austin Majesky, and Benjamin Banks begins to make their way down the aisle.)
Mark Long: ...coming in at a combined weight of 685 lbs....and being accompanied by Benjamin Banks...the team of...Austin Majesky and Slither!
(The two competitors continue their way to the ring, the fans cheering them on as they do.)
Jerry Andrews: If we were going to base this match on individual talent and nothing else, then the team of Slither and Austin may just very well be the favorite going into this match.
Michael Williams: I don't know about that. I understand the fact that Slither has been World Champion twice, but, that also means he has lost the title twice. And besides, since he's lost it, he's been in kind of a slump. As for Austin, he has been nothing short of disappointing. And you can see where he gets it from, his trainer is the ultimate disappointer, Benjamin Banks.
(Austin, Slither, and Banks enter the ring as the music changes from, "The End of Heartache" to "Elven Path" by Nightwish. The arena lights turn to a blue hue and from behind the entrance curtain steps the team of Lantlas and Seth Sinn.)
Mark Long: And their opponents...coming in at a combined weight of 555 lbs....the team of Seth Sinn and Lantlas...Unbesiegbar!
(Unbesiegbar makes their way down the aisle, very calm while doing so. The fans remain silent as the team makes their way to ringside, and even when they enter, not knowing how to react to such a new team.)
Jerry Andrews: These two men are definitely going to be stars here in the PCW.
Mike Williams: I'd like to think so. They are talented, that's for sure. They've been highly impressive during their last few weeks here, but they're still relatively new to the PCW. Let's see how they compose themselves under the pressure on performing on such a big stage.
(Lantlas and Seth talk it over in one corner as Benjamin Banks, Slither, and Austin are doing the same in an adjacent corner. The music changes from, "Elven Path" to "Crack Addict" by Limp Bizkit. The blue hue that entrapped the arena is now changed to red and white flashing lights as The Byrd, Tony Brass, and Rage make their way down the aisle.)
Mark Long: And their opponents...coming in at a combined weight of 515 lbs....being accompanied by Rage...the team of The Byrd and Tony Brass...S.I.N.!
(As they get half-way down the aisle, and the arena hurls boos at them, the two run and slide into the ring, immediately striking at both teams. Mark Long quickly slides out of the ring as the three teams begin an all-out brawl and "Crack Addict" is abruptly cut-off.)
Mike Williams: That's what I like! People who take advantage of situations.
Jerry Andrews: The match isn't even officially underway! The Tag Team Champions aren't even here yet!
(As the three teams are going at it, out of nowhere, Maddog and Chrissy Johnson come running from behind the entrance curtain and head towards the ring, dropping their PCW Tag Team Championships on the ground as they are doing do.)
Mark Long: The team of Chrissy Johnson and Maddog!
(They slide into the ring and immediately get into the action, joining in on the brawls.)
Mike Williams: Are you happy now? Now the Tag Champs are here.
Jerry Andrews: Well, atleast it's a fair playing field now.
(Referee Tim Jones tries to separate the teams and inadvertently gets an elbow to the jaw by The Byrd, forcing him to crash down on the mat.)
Jerry Andrews: The referee is down and the match hasn't even start yet!
Mike Williams: This is an all-out war!
(Rage and Benjamin Banks, who both made it outside the ring, began jawing off against one another aswell. Rage pretends to back off and once Banks turns his back, Rage grabs the ring bell hammer and levels Banks, knocking him out cold.)
Mike Williams: We know Banks isn't going to be much of a factor on the outcome of this match; Rage just knocked him out with that hammer to the back of the neck!
(Back inside the ring, while Timmy is still down, the brawling is still ensuing. Lantlas picks up Chrissy Johnson overhead and heaves her clear over the top rope and into the crowd. The crowd begins body-surfing Ms. Johnson until she fully disappears from sight.)
Jerry Andrews: What power by Lantlas!
Mike Williams: Where did Chrissy Johnson go? The surfed her and she got lost within the crowd.
(Rage, who is still with hammer, slides into the ring and smacks Maddog over the back of head with it. Maddog falls down onto the mat, with blood immediately flowing from the wound.)
Jerry Andrews: The referee is still down and people are dropping like flies. Chrissy Johnson is gone! Maddog is now down after being attacked by that hammer! Someone needs to restore order to this match.
Mike Williams: As I said...this isn't a match anymore...this is an all-out war!
(Rage, turns and tries to hit Seth Sinn with the hammer, but Seth catches his hand as it is coming down to attack. He brings Rage's left-hand back overhead with his right and then clotheslines him right over the top rope. Rage crashes hard on the outside.)
Jerry Andrews: There goes Rage.
Mike Williams: Well, he accomplished what he needed to. Benjamin Banks is out cold on the floor and now Maddog is knocked out, bleeding on the back of his head.
(Seth Sinn is getting triple-teamed by Slither, Tony Brass and The Byrd in the corner, while Lantlas and Austin Majesky is locking up in a show of strength.)
Jerry Andrews: Both Lantlas and Austin have met eachother in the ring before and on that occasion, Lantlas man-handled the Benjamin Banks protege.
Mike Williams: And he is again, look!
(Lantlas powered "The Shark" onto the mat and then, as Austin powered back up, Lantlas drops him with a hip-toss. As Austin makes it back onto his feet, Lantlas kicks him into the midsection and then shoves him in-between his legs. He quickly raises him up in a Powerbomb position, but when he brings him down, he nails him with a facebuster.)
Jerry Andrews: He just hit "The Shark" with The Elvish Tale! But even if he had pinned him, Referee Tim Jones is still out of it!
Mike Williams: How long is that stupid referee going to play possum?! This match needs to get officially underway!
Jerry Andrews: Play possum? He was knocked out by an accidental elbow! He probably was knocked unconscious.
Mike Williams: Then they should get someone out here to not only check on Timmy, but to get this match started.
(Lantlas looks over to the other side of the ring and notices his partner Seth being triple-teamed in the corner by Slither, Tony, and The Byrd. He slides outside the ring and digs under the apron. From underneath the ring he pulls a metal trash can.)
Mike Williams: Look! Non Compos Mentis' house!
Jerry Andrews: Oh come on!
Mike Williams: What? Oh...I get it. It's a bit too big. Non Compos Mentis would have a smaller one.
Jerry Andrews: Oh, Mike.
(Lantlas takes the trash can with him as he rolls back into the ring. As Slither turns to meet the man sneaking behind him, Lantlas smashes him over the head with the trash can. Slither goes down hard.)
Mike Williams: Ouch! That's gotta hurt.
(Lantlas raises the trash can once more, this time to hit The Byrd, but Byrd turns just in the knick of time and delivers a dropkick to the trash can, forcing it to hit Lantlas right in his face.)
Jerry Andrews: That's a way to be creative.
(The Byrd immediately follows it up by trying to lock in a Sharpshooter onto Lantlas. Lantlas uses his legs to fight out of it and eventually pushes up with a force that knocks The Byrd straight through the second ropes. Lantlas follows him onto the outside and the two began brawling. Lantlas goes to whip The Byrd, but he reverses it and sends Lantlas flying into the ring steps.)
Jerry Andrews: What an Irish Whip!
(As the two are brawling on the outside of the ring, Tony Brass had been still working on Seth Sinn in the corner. He raises Seth to his feet and then mounts the turnbuckle, Seth trapped in-between them. Tony begins pounding onto the face of Seth. One, two, three, four, five punches...six, seven, eight, nine...but as Tony is about to land the tenth punch, Seth grabs him and drops him down with a modified Powerbomb.)
Jerry Andrews: Oh my Gawd! Seth just hit Tony with the Sinn Nature!
Mike Williams: But, with what has been the entire theme to this match, the referee is still down.
Jerry Andrews: And I think Seth knows this.
(Seth, seeing the referee still down, grabs him by his pants and raises him to his feet. He shakes the guy for a second before slapping him, yelling at him to wake up all-the-while. The referee begins to finally come to. Seth goes to make the pin.)
Jerry Andrews: This could be it! We may very well have new PCW Tag Team Champions!
(The Byrd, who is on the outside, tries to run in for the save, but is grabbed and pulled back onto the outside by Lantlas. Referee Tim Jones makes the...one.......two.....three!)
Jerry Andrews: That's it! This match is over!
(The referee signals for the bell and for the first time in this match, the bell has sounded.)
Mark Long: The winners of the match...and NEW PCW Tag Team Champions...the team of Lantlas and Seth Sinn...Unbesiegbar!
(Referee Tim Jones, still disoriented from his attack nearly 15 minutes ago, is handed the PCW Tag Team Championships from Mark Long and, as Lantlas slides into the ring to meet his partner. Timmy hands each member of Unbesiegbar a title and they raise it high in the air. "Before I Forget" by Slipknot begins to play, as Lantlas and Seth Sinn continue to celebrate. On the outside, Tony Brass is trying to revive Rage, as The Byrd is disputing the outcome with himself, obviously upset with the way things went. The feed cuts to Mike Williams and Jerry Andrews.)
Jerry Andrews: What a match!
Mike Williams: A match? I only heard them ringing the bell once. They never started the match. When the bell tolled, it should have started, not ended, the match. I smell a conspiracy.
Jerry Andrews: I think you're reading way too much into this; what's important is that we have new PCW World Tag Team Champions.
Mike Williams: I don't know about all that, but, if we do, Unbesiegbar is a formidable duo. They have the makings of going down in history as the best PCW Tag Team Champions ever.
Jerry Andrews: Speaking of great PCW champions, we have one of the greats about to compete know. Let's kick it to Mark standing in the ring. Take it away, Mark!
(The feed cuts from the commentators to Mark Long and he prepares to make the introductions.)
Match Two: Debut Singles Match
Bison vs. M.V.P.
Referee: Steve Shaw
Bison vs. M.V.P.
Referee: Steve Shaw
Mark Long: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a ten-minute time-limit.
"Drive By" by Three 6 Mafia burst over the loudspeakers and Bison slowly made his way from the back. He steps from behind the entrance and begins walking down the aisle.)
Mark Long: Coming down the aisle first...weighing in at 280 lbs. and standing 6 feet 4 inches...Bison!
(Ignoring the screaming fans as he finally makes his way to the ring, when he makes it, he climbs into the ring via ringsteps and he stands in the middle of the ring waiting for MVP.)
Jerry Andrews: Bison is a true icon here in the PCW.
Mike Williams: I'd agree with you, but, you're wrong. Bison could have been an icon, but his first and only PCW Title reign was a joke. He defeated a great competitor when he took out Hexus to pick up the win, but then he lost to one of the worst PCW World Champions ever...Chad Dizzle. Following his lost, he took a leave from the PCW rings and just now returning. He was a dud.
Jerry Andrews: But now he's back and should be better than ever. I hear he's cleaned up his personal demons.
Mike Williams: Ha. That's a joke. Once a junkie, always a junkie.
(Bison didn't have to wait long for his opponent because, the music cuts from "Drive By" to, "Survival of the Sickest" by Saliva.)
Mark Long: And his opponent...weighing in at 220 lbs. and standing 6 feet tall...residing in Los Angeles, California...Mike Van-Pelt...M.V.P.!
(M.V.P. comes sprinting from the back and slides into the ring, wasting no time lying in to Bison with lefts and rights. Referee Steve Shaw, who is also making his debut at this show, signals for the bell and the match officially begins.)
Mike Williams: And now we have a match.
Jerry Andrews: One M.V.P. cheated from the jump.
Mike Williams: Cheating? I don't think so. He was ceasing the opportunity. Bison shouldn't been off-guard.
Jerry Andrews: I'm sure he would have guarded himself had the match been started before the attack.
(The ferocity of the initial assault stunned Bison as M.V.P. followed up the punches with a standing dropkick to the chest of Bison. Rolling to the outside to get his composure, Bison's attempt to catch his breath is interrupted by a flying cross body block from M.V.P..)
Mike Williams: Look at Bison trying to retreat.
(Bison attempted to counter the cross body with a straight punch of his own but wasn't able to completely halt M.V.P.'s momentum. Both wrestlers crashed to the ground as the referee began the mandatory ten-count. 1...2...3...4...5...Bison began to stumble to his feet followed by M.V.P.. Bison was the first up and the first one into the ring. M.V.P. rolled in behind him and crawled to the corner to help himself up.)
Jerry Andrews: And they're back in the ring.
Mike Williams: Well thank-you, Captain Obvious.
(Bison saw M.V.P. and he crouched in the corner to set MVP up for the spear. Bison launched himself into a sprint across the ring as M.V.P. turned around and collapsed as his knees gave out causing Bison to hit the steel ring post shoulder first.)
Jerry Andrews: For some reason, Bison's knee just gave out on him.
Mike Williams: It's all those damn drugs, man. It'll take it's toll on your body.
Jerry Andrews: You sound like you're speaking from experience.
Mike Williams: Me? Nooo. "The Man" has never used drugs. I'm not stupid.
(M.V.P. crawled to his feet and began to work over his opponents shoulder with a volley of kicks. M.V.P. drags Bison to the center of the ring and the begins to wrap up Bison in an arm bar. M.V.P. wrenched back on the arm of Bison but was unable to hold on and Bison slipped away. Once again seeking refuge on the outside, Bison moved away from the ring and turned around to catch a flying M.V.P. in the face with a side-kick.)
