The screen is completely black except for the PCW logo in the bottom right corner. Suddenly, voice is heard from within the darkness.
Once upon a there was an elite group. This group consisted of three men… Three friends… Three Champions…They were closer than brothers… They travel from wrestling federation to wrestling federation. Decimating who ever got in there way. Then suddenly they just vanished into thin air. The last time these three men were seen together was in a wrestling federation called CCW.
As “Mars, the Bringer of War” by Gustav Holst begins to play a photo of the three men is shown.
The Byrd… Rage… and Inferno.
All of them are wearing black shorts with red flames at the bottom and black sleeveless shirts that say “Full Contact Wrestler”. The Byrd is sporting his tradition bleach blonde hair. He has the BWF World Championship around his waist and the CCW Liberty Championship is hanging around his neck. Both of his middle fingers are aimed at who ever took the picture. On The Byrd’s right is Rage who has his thick black hair, about three inches long, slicked straight back. Rage has his CCW Tag Team Title around his waist and he’s hold the CCW Red Hook championship in the air with his right are. On The Byrd’s left is Inferno who has long, shaggy looking, dark brown hair. He has the CCW Tag Team title around his waist and he is holding the BWF Hardcore Championship in the air with his left air. Inferno has his tongue out showing off his black mouth piece that has fang on them.
Around the end of November 2005 The Byrd resurfaced in a federation known as PCW, without his two partners in crime. Shortly after Rage resurfaced. A few months before Inferno happed the opportunity to resurface there was a falling out between The Byrd and Rage. Shortly after The Byrd challenged Rage to a match but Rage declined and has not been seen since.
As the music stops the scene cuts to what use to be the set of the hit show Raggin Inferno. Adamo Evelyn is shown standing at the center of the stage. Behind him is a coffee table with four chairs in a half oval shape behind it.
Chris Paul – Hello everyone I’m Chris Paul and welcome to a very special edition of the Raggin Inferno. What makes this a special edition is that I plan on reuniting one of the most dominating stable of all time. S.I.N. Safety in Numbers. So without waiting any longer I give you my first guest. The man who this Sunday has the opportunity to make PCW history by becoming the PCW Genesis Champion at Collision Course The Byrd.
“Crack Addict’ by Limp Bizkit begins to play as The Byrd makes his way onto the set. They meet each at the middle of the stage. Before taking their seats they shake hands. Chris whispers something to The Byrd that brings a smile to his face.
Chris Paul – Byrd thanks for joining me today!
The Byrd – Thanks for having me. I’m glad to be here.
Chris Paul – You know that you’re here for a S.I.N. reunion right?
The Byrd – Yea, I think this is something the fans have been waiting to see. It’s been a long time coming in my book.
Chris Paul – It’s funny you say that.
The Byrd – Why is that?
Chris Paul – If I remember correctly that time you and Rage were seen in the same ring you all weren’t on good terms. As a matter a fact let’s roll the clip.
The scene cuts to PCW Trauma from March 21st 2006.
The Byrd waiting patiently in the ring for his opponent and former tag team partner, Tony Brass, it was several moments before anyone even made their way from the back. That being the case, it wasn't even Tony Brass that emerged but Rage who walked towards the ring. Rage jumping on the mic, he explained to the audience that Tony Brass had been so severely beaten by Seth Sinn at Game Over, that he was currently recuperating from his wounds and would not be able to compete here tonight. The Byrd, who was NOT happy with this turn of events, nodded and proceeded to grab Rage up by the collar of his shirt and challenge him to a match at next week's Trauma. Rage, being the super-stud that he is...declined and retreated to the back with The Byrd closing in on him.
The scene cuts back to Chris Paul and The Byrd.
Chris Paul – What do you have to say about that?
The Byrd – Well, me and Rage go back a long way. We are like brothers. Brothers have disagreements, and that’s all that was. It was a big disagreement.
Chris Paul – When was the last time you spoke with Rage?
The Byrd – I haven’t spoken with Rage since that night.
Chris Paul – With you saying that it’s hard for me to believe that you two just had a disagreement. Before we move on with the rest of the show I’d like to talk to you about you match this Sunday. This Sunday at PCW Collision Course you have the opportunity to make PCW history. You have to chance to be PCW Genesis Champion ever. However to do that you have to defeat one of three guys. Rodney Phoenix, Justin "Stormm" Michaels, and Mark Brown are your opponents. What are your thoughts going into this match?
The Byrd – This is no doubt a big match for everyone involved. As you said before the winner of this match will go in the record books as being the first Genesis champion and if they’re good enough the only Genesis champion. I’m honored to be in this match. There are so many other people who could have been placed in this match.
Chris Paul – Some people believe that you don’t even deserve to be in this match. I think there might be some truth to that. There isn’t anything deserving about you’re 4-14 record. With a record that bad why does PCW management continue to place you in title matches? This will be you third title match in a row and your fifth or sixth title match since you’ve been in PCW.
The Byrd – Despite what my record may be I am in fact one of the top wrestlers in PCW. If you look back at the guys that I faced I’ve been in the ring with top wrestlers in PCW. Just about everyone that I’ve lost to has been either a former or current PCW champion. Lantlas, Ace Anderson, Seth Sinn, Chrissy, Maddog, Non Compos Mentis, and even Jason Willard. Now you ask me why? Why PCW management continues to place me in title matches. If you look at every single one of those matches I had every last one of them beat. I was just unable to put the finishing touches on them.
Chris Paul – With that said your opponents have had some serious words for you. Let me get your thoughts on each of them. Let’s start with the returning Justin "Stormm" Michaels.
The Byrd – Well unlike Mr. Phoenix I didn’t feel the need to do a background check on everyone. There’s not much I can say about Stormm. From what I hear he’s a terrific athlete. Not as good as me but he’s up there. I’m actually excited to step in the ring with him. However, if things come down to me and him I should be able to pull out the victory. He’s been away from the wrestling for a while now so there is going to be some kind of ring rust.
Chris Paul – Interesting… Let move on to Rodney Phoenix, who happens to be one of the people that question your placement in this match.
The Byrd – I got to give him credit he did his research on every last one of us. However, if he is going to go into this match based off of his research he needs to remember something. I beat Ace Anderson. Not too many people can say that they beat the champ. With that said he should realize that past accomplishments mean absolutely nothing. Anything can happen. For all he knows I could have purposely thrown those matches. Those that are close to me know that I tend to do what’s best for business rather then what’s best for me. Guys like Lantlas, Seth Sinn, and Non Compos Mentis if you pay close attention to their careers before and after they faced me. Each of them come out of there match with me better then ever. If they had lost to me do you really think that they would be where they are at not. Any one who has beaten me should feel honored. Let’s take a look at the last man I beat. Ace hasn’t been the same since I beat him. Before our first match he was untouchable, and unstoppable. After he lost to me he slowly became touchable, and stoppable he even became beatable.
Chris Paul – You make a very good point. And last but not least the man who is out for revenge, Mark Brown.
The Byrd – Paul this guy is pissed off at me for no reason. If he’s going to be pissed off at anyone he should be pissed off at himself. He claims that I turned my back on him; I was never on his side. When I found out that I was booked in that match I made it know that I wanted no part of it. I let it be known that I wanted no part of this match with enough time for him to find his self a new partner. But what did he do about it… I’ll tell you he did nothing. Mark Lightning did absolutely nothing. Then before the match I sp… you know roll the clip of what happened before the match.
The scene cuts to a replay of what happened at Deadly Intentions.
The Byrd: This is what it's all about. I have to go into a match and defend a championship that isn't even mine. I am a former CCW Liberty Champion for Christ's sake! But that's OK. They can take this title and shove it for all I care!
(The Byrd spits on the replica of the Tag Team Belt and then drops it in a near-by trash can, as he begins to walk to the ring.)
The scene cuts back over to Chris Paul and The Byrd.
The Byrd – Do you remember that Mark? I’m sure you do. So I don’t give two shits about how you feel or what you think. Hell you should be thanking me for the vacation that I sent you on. I guess your just an ingrate so this Sunday I will finish what I started at Deadly Intention and end you career. Sunday, May 21st 2006 your Genesis will happen. On that day it will be the beginning of the end of your career.
Realizing that things have gone further from the shows purpose Chris Paul cuts the Byrd off
Chris Paul – We are going to take a quick commercial break and when we return will have Rage come out.
As the scene fades out to an Applebee’s commercial The Byrd can be seen getting up and walking off stage.
