(Open scene. Kri is in a theater with his legs up on the front row seats.)
K- Performance a five-star one perhaps. When the curtains draw or when the lights dim and the high-quality sound drowns out any preceeding thoughts or conversations your drawn into a world. The old phrase 'it's showtime' rings true and if your luck bodes well you'll return to see the show again. The problem with showtimes is they can be inaccurate misleading, and there's that whole 'not real' part of it.
K- I have a match with a one Mr. Showtime. To me this means he likes to exist in a fantasy world where everything goes his way. I know it's weird saying that when theres a blue haired elf running around here but thats besides the point. When it's Showtime you'd like for the world to revolve around you, for everything to go your way, and have a theatrical ending where you're the guy who ends up with everything all right. The girl, or whatever you prefer, the loot, the respect, the love. Showtimes can be so magical.
K- But magic doesn't exist and shows aren't real. Kri Delastano is real. I have a short path in this place so far and in that short time I've defeated a primetime star. I had a week off when I took care of Blade as everyone here will at one time or another but now I'm back in the runnings with another performer with a mildly respected name for himself. Not on the same level as those I admire but certainly of higher respect than Blade.
K- If it's a show you want that's what I'll give you. There will however be no curtain calls, cameos, surprise guests, or original score. There will be no awards, nominations, standing ovations, or encores. There will only be Kri Delastano the one you do not want to be in the ring with if your wish is to escape reality because he and I know each other far too well and I'll be happy to reintroduce you when you receive your LAST STAND!
(End.)
