It’s almost maddening
(The scene opens up with darkness surrounding everything. All there really is, is the sounds of the wild. Well maybe not the wild but the sound of fast running water and the wind whisking through some sort of tall grass. The wind is raging hard and the water just seems to be running faster. The light from the camera snaps on and in the distance you can see the reflection of the light on a pair of glasses of some sort. A pair of glasses, but no face. From that spot an object is thrown towards the camera. It lands directly in front of the camera. The camera pans down to the area in which the object landed, which is filled with a sandy grassy mix. What lies before you now is a mask, a metal mask at that. It’s almost a horrifying sight. The mask is a dark bronze color and looks to be something out of a horror film. Where this mask would be worn on the left side of one’s face is long and looks like it would stop where the chin meets the jaw line. The mask would cover the entire left side of someone’s face up to where their hair meets the forehead, except for a small hole that allows the left eye a bit of vision. The mask extends covering the right side of the forehead as well, but not touching the right eye. This mask only covering the upper half of the nose then meets back where the chin meets the jaw line.)
(But on this face it is not. It just lies there in the mixture of sand and grass just staring at the camera in that blank cold expression. This is what is used to cover something so grotesque that this mask actually makes this victim look better. How you ask yourself? How indeed? When someone is bludgeoned almost to death, almost losing the sight out of that left eye that it’s attempting to protect. What a senseless act of violence.)
Pain
(That is what has been given to the wearer of this atrocity. But where is that man? Where has “Mr. Showtime” Mikey Wryght been all this time? This once flamboyant narcissist has been tucked away. Ever since Game Over, after that infamous doctors visit he has been vanished. A few hours after the doctor had left the room and Showtime was left laughing like a mad man another person had entered the room. Leaving only that person in that hospital room. Yes, Showtime was gone. The widow was left open and the curtains blowing in the wind. Showtime and the, ask were both gone and both of there whereabouts are still unknown. At this point in time he could be anywhere. A wild man on the lamb can cover a large distance in about a week’s time. What’s to stop him?)
Revenge
(As the voice gets louder you can make the guess that it’s Mr. Showtime, but you cannot be sure. You cannot be sure that the light reflecting in those glasses was of a pair of gold and brown aviators. They say that there is a very thin line between genius and a madman. And it only takes one event in a person’s life to drive them right over that edge. I know that this week that this week Showtime’s opponent is Kri Delastano, but Showtime doesn’t know that. How could he? Still no contact has been made with Pure Class Wrestling’s self proclaimed “Frickin’ Superstar,” but is that still the way he sees himself? Or does he see himself as a monster? You know when you are bitten by a werewolf or a vampire you become one as they did. Do you think this can really happen? Does one who isn’t generally that maliciously violent, one who isn’t out to actually hurt an individual change to have that sort of sick mind?)
(The sounds of a low laughter is heard)
(Does that answer your question? It doesn’t mine. But will it be fair to that poor boy that is getting thrown to the wolves this week, that’s if Showtime gets to the arena this week. Where else would he go? There is nothing left for him in his hometown the woman that he loved has left him. Maybe to his agent, but without the face that he used to make his money there seems to be no reason as well. There is one person who has been left on alert. Thomas…Thomas? Yes, Showtime’s cousin and personal interviewer. That original tape was sent to him and maybe Showtime will show up there. But where is he now is the question. How can a man just straight up disappear? A man that is as well known as Showtime cannot just disappear, can he? He has been engulfed in the darkness as many lost souls have before him. Just keep asking yourself where is Mr. Showtime, because …)
I’m right behind you…
(The camera fades to black and the mask that lies in front of you all begins to vanish then the scene cuts to snow.)
