(The scene opens up in the back office of “The Best Gym” in Brick, New Jersey. The office is dark and the blinds are drawn. There is no way to tell when the last time someone was in here, but on a lighter note there has been constant action at the gym even though it’s owner had disappeared. Jason Lasky was able to bring in a segregate manager to run the gym while there was no one here, but still no one goes into the office. There is a mess all over the desk and it’s silent here.)
(It seems that this office has seen more action that I am giving it credit for. As we speak you can hear the sound of someone in the back room. The sound of water is running in the wash room and if you look closely you can tell that on top of the desk is the bronze mask that has been being used by “Mr. Showtime” Mikey Wryght. Out of the back room strolls Showtime. The room is so dark that you cannot see his face all that you can catch a gimps of it that it seems he is wearing a pair of dress slacks and a jacket. All else is vacant from this nocturnal view. It has been a while since he had been here but every once and a while he returns to gather things that are needed for his survival. He bends over and grabs a few things out of one of his desk draws.)
(As he is ready to leave there seems to be a note of some sorts on his desk. On the envelope it is only addressed to “Mr. Showtime.” There is no address and nothing else except for the name. This means that someone else had to have come in here at some point and put it there. But who? Who dared to enter Showtime’s office when he wasn’t around? Quickly Showtime flips the envelope over revealing a wax seal in the shape of an eye with two red pieces of ribbon hanging down. Showtime takes the seal off and pulls out the letter that was addressed to him to read. He bends over and lights a few cameras, but his back is facing us and all you can see is the light coming around him.)
“Dear Mr. Showtime:
We have been witness of you recent tragedy. What has been done to you is not acceptable and there may be a way for us to help.
We hope that you would be gracious enough to bless us with your presence so we can converse about what it is that we could do for you.
We know that you are looking for answers. There is something that can be done. There is a solution to all of your worries.
What you need to do is just show up and we will help.
There is a place where we can meet and all arrangements have already been made. We only wait for your reply.
What it is that we want is for you to take the seal that you had taken from this letter and place it on the outside of the back door to your establishment.
We will find our symbol and then we will find you. There is no use in looking for us, but if you accept you will see us soon. No matter where you are.
The choice is yours to make, we will be awaiting your reply.
Graciously,
…”
(This was rather strange, someone just left this here. What was he to do? Was it worth the risk of meeting this unknown author? No matter what it was it had to wait Showtime had business to tend to at this weeks Trauma. First there is he who destroyed the face of Showtime and secondly he would not give up the chance to face off against Lantlas. The more it seems that he had been searching, the more it gave him the time to ponder. He had been pushing Lantlas to the side for a second week, so what you say. Well the deeper his journey has taken him the more the thought of Grimm was maddening. At some points he actually thought he was losing it, and the thing that kept his mind off of Phinehas was how everyone kept telling him that he was taking his next opponent too lightly. Showtime still cared less about Lantlas, but that would have been his attitude towards anyone that he had to fight this week.)
(The more that he searched the more that he began to think about the encounter that these two opponents would have. Honestly, Showtime would have preferred to get Lantlas out of the way last week, but not everything works to plan. Now he has given real thought on Pure Class’s undefeated elf. Still pondering on the recent events, he would have to deal with his opponent this week, but he would also place the seal on the door. What was the worse that could happen?)
(Showtime made his way to the back door of the office with the seal in his hand. The opening of the door let in a gust of wind extinguishing the candle that he had lit, but allowing some of the night lights in come in. He retrieves a lighter out of his pocket and melts a bit of the wax and sticks it to the door. He re-enters his office to collect his things. He had to get far away from here, for he still didn’t want to interact with the people from around here. He gathers his things and put the bronze mask back on his face covering his shame. Now that things were back to normal here he places the letter into his jacket pocket and makes his way to the door. Funny thing was that while he had turned his back to the rear door the wax had vanished. The seal that the letter had said to place on the door was gone already. Showtime looked around seeing if it had fallen off but there was no sign of it. Something had happened to it but what was the question. Showtime knew that there was no need to dwell upon it and slowly closes the back door. He had things to take care of and an elf to face off against. As the door closes slowly the camera fades to black and then cuts to snow.)[/color]
