[The Byrd is shown standing in front of a door with the name “Adamo Evelyn F PhD”. The Byrd starts pacing back and forth in front trying to decide whether or not he should knock. Finally he decides to knock on the door. A voice from inside tell him to come in. Byrd opens the door and walks in. The room is nicely decorated. On one wall there is a large window that over looks Washington, D.C. One wall has been turned into a bookcase that is full with books. In front the other wall he has his desk that is in a U shape. In the middle of the room he a plush king size chair facing a 7-foot long couch. Adamo gets up from his behind his desk and heads to his chair in the middle of the room. As he reaches his chair he motions for Byrd to take a seat on the coach. Byrd walks over and sits down on the coach.]
The Byrd – Thanks for squeezing me.
Adamo Evelyn – No problem. I thought your case was very interesting. So you tell me that you need me help you win you next match?
The Byrd – Yes.
Adamo Evelyn – What do you want me to do to help you win your match? I’m not a wrestler and from what you told me over the phone your facing a World Champion.
The Byrd – Well, see this past Tuesday I celebrated my 22nd Birthday.
Adamo Evelyn – Happy Belated Birthday.
The Byrd – Thank you. Well during my Birthday party when I received phone call and was informed that I was going to be the last man to face World Champion Ace Anderson in a three man Gauntlet match. There are only two reasons that wrestling promoters book that type of match. The first is the most common case and that would be a good thing since when these matches come about the last man in the gauntlet would be feuding with the man that is competing in the gauntlet and in the near future would be facing each other in a title match. But that’s not the situation in this case so it must be the other reason a gauntlet match and that would be to make someone look good.
Adamo Evelyn – Ok but you have to tell me how you want me to help you win your match.
The Byrd – Well you see Adamo once upon a time I was once a great wrestler I rarely lost. Before I came to PCW I was in CCW I was the CCW Liberty Champion. I only had one lost. I was CCW Top wrestler. Now I’m here wrestling at PCW and I have three wins and nine losses. I’ve lost more matches in PCW then I’ve then I’ve lost in the past 3 years. I could be good… I could be bad… I was great… I ruled with an iron fist… I was untouchable. Now I just some wrestler who’s purpose is to be used to put other wrestlers over. There has not been a match that I have participated in that the other wrestlers didn’t think that I was going to lose. I’m the lowest paid male wrestler on the roster that has full-term contract. The guys that were just hired make a hell of lot more money then do. This has to stop. Starting this coming Tuesday this has to come to an end. I need to become what I once was I should not be going into my prime and I am so far away from what I once was.
Adamo Evelyn – So what you are trying to say is that you want me to help you return to the wrestler you once was if I’m correct?
The Byrd – Yes that is exactly what I’m saying. Do you think that you can help me?
Adamo Evelyn – Physically there’s nothing that I can do. But mentally I think that with a couple of sessions I think I can have you back in no time.
The Byrd – So we can get this done before I face Ace?
Adamo Evelyn – Don’t get ahead of your self now we are going to need more then one session. This might take a few months. But I can get you to where you once was. So let’s take a short little break and then we’ll get started.
[The scene fades to black. About 10 minutes go past. The scene fades back in. Adamo is sitting in his chair holding a yellow notepad. The Byrd is laying down on a couch.]
Adamo Evelyn – Ok tell about what’s been going on with you in PCW.
The Byrd – Well, besides what I told you about my upcoming match. My last real match was at PCW Game Over where my former Tag Team Partner abandoned me in the middle of our PCW Tag Team Championship match and has not shown his face since. That same night my manager and best-friend turned his back on me. He even declined to face me in a match. Then the following week PCW Management neglected to book me in a match on my Birthday. Then they booked me in…..
Adamo Evelyn – I know the rest of this. So let’s go back a little.
The Byrd – How far back would you like to go?
Adamo Evelyn – Well just for now tell me about your former Tag Team Partner Tony Brass.
The Byrd – Well Tony was brought in by my manager, at the time, Rage. Shortly after I arrived began my pursuit for the PCW Tag Team Championship. However I didn’t have a Tag Team partner so I was unable to get a shot at the titles. So I asked Rage to go out and find me a partner. We had a few guys in mind but then Iceman, the guy in charge, informed us that a former PCW Superstar was returning to PCW. So since PCW is known for having wresters of very high caliber we decided that we’d ask Brass if he wanted to be not only my tag team partner but a member of S.I.N as well. So things started off well even though we didn’t get any victories we were on the same page. Then as time went on and we continued to lose the fans started to blame me for those losses and began in to boo me and cheer him.
Adamo Evelyn – Did that bother you?
The Byrd – What?
Adamo Evelyn – The fans booing you?
The Byrd – No throughout my career I’ve been both booed and cheered. So it didn’t bother me one bit. Even though we still could not pull out a singles or tag team victory we managed to get a Tag Team Title shot at PCW PPV Game Over. This is where things to took a turn for the worse for our tag team. Tony Brass abandoned me and has not been seen since.
Adamo Evelyn – How did that make you feel?
The Byrd – I thought that it… it… it was fucked up. I had one half of the tag team champions Lantlas in the ring beat but Brass decided to leave and left Seth Sinn to come out of no where and hit me with the Heaven's Grace then Lantlas hit me with a twisted version of the Elvish Tale to win the match. The following week I challenged Brass to a match and he didn’t show up.
Adamo Evelyn – Before we rap up this session tell me, why did you challenge Brass to a match.
The Byrd – Well I wanted to show the fans, the internet critics and the guys in the back that I wasn’t the weakest link, that I wasn’t a failure, and that I was a force to be reckoned with.
Adamo Evelyn – Alright that’s enough for today.
[The Byrd stands up and walks over to Adamo, who stands up as Byrd gets over to him. They shake hands.]
Adamo Evelyn – I think we made some great progress this week.
The Byrd – So I’ll see you next week?
Adamo Evelyn – Yes, I’ll see you next week. Good Luck on your match tomorrow night. Remember If you believe it you can achieve it.
The Byrd – I’ll try to keep that in mind.
[The Byrd turns and heads out of the door.]
Adamo Evelyn – We have a lot of work to do.
[Adamo shakes his head as the scene fades out.]
The Byrd – Thanks for squeezing me.
