LAIMAN: Ladies and gentlemen of Pure Class Wrestling, as we approach the resurrection of our beloved PCW, yours truly Al Laiman is here to give you a personal glimpse into the faces behind the names of this roster. In this first interview edition of “In Laiman’s Terms”, with me here is a PCW original, LoKi. Thanks for being here.
LoKi: Thanks for having me Al. I'm looking forward to going back on the air with PCW.
LAIMAN: What is it that took you off the air in the first place? Weren’t you on the verge of making quite a name for yourself against some of the biggest stars in PCW at the time?
LoKi: I had a lot of things going on in my personal life and too many people in my professional life that couldn't or wouldn't respect that boundary. And on top of all that I was also burned out. You're a former in-ring competitor; you know how exhausting competing week in and week out can be.
LAIMAN: It is true that you have to want it the whole time you’re there, that you can never let that passion die. Since I’ll be calling your action in the ring, I’m hoping I won’t be forced to make excuses for your personal life catching up with you. What has changed since your sudden departure, and what are your goals as both you and PCW will be experiencing a resurrection of sorts?
LoKi: A lot has changed actually. I'm in better shape than I was before I left and I feel that I've actually grown as a wrestler. I've moved away from being just a brawler and more towards the technical side of the business. As for my goals with PCW, well I'm only one title away from being a triple crown title holder; I've held the North American title and the International title. If I can win the Heavyweight Title then I'll be the first person in PCW history to have held all three major singles titles.
LAIMAN: That’s a big if, though, Mr. LoKi. What do you think of your chances of being able to break through that ceiling with both the influx of new talent and the best of the best also returning? Former world champions such as Grimm and your old rival Ace Anderson have signed back with PCW, so getting to that championship belt will be no easy task.
LoKi: I never said it would be easy. In fact I'd be a bit disappointed if it was. I can't speak very much for the new talent, simply because I don't know much about them. In fact the only one I know anything about is Jason Scene, the guy held two belts in TEW. As for guys like Grimm and Ace, I know I've improved tremendously since leaving. I guess we'll see if they have as well.
LAIMAN: TEW, when I first saw it I thought it was the hipster way of spelling “the”. I’ll have to confirm that, as he’s my next scheduled interview. But anyway, how did you feel about having to change your name to Kaval to appear on NXT?
LoKi: Ya, you're still an ass. Just because Brandon Silvestry and I happen to have similar sounding names doesn't make us the same person. I took the name LoKi from two sources, Norse Mythology and a character from a fiction series I enjoy.
LAIMAN: Still? I signed with PCW after you were gone and some tool took your roster spot. And let’s face it, you’re just inviting it, whether you took it from him or not. I’d say this version of PCW gives you the chance to cement a new legacy, or re-establish your old one. Maybe you could call yourself Kofi, as maybe you got into the main event, but you didn’t stay there. Don’t call me an ass, prove me wrong and do something about it.
LoKi: Are you finished? Yes, you did sign with PCW after I left but that doesn't mean I didn't stay in touch with friends I'd made or keep up with the shows. And if I want to call you an ass I will, and I'll still prove you wrong.
LAIMAN: Don’t get uppity with me on my own show, kid. Now for the final portion of the interview, we’ll have a simple word association. And keep your focus on them, not me. Getting on my bad side does you no favors… First, Icemann.
LoKi: Owner.

LoKi: Nothing really. I think I've said pretty much everything I came to say.
LAIMAN: All right everyone, thanks for tuning in to the first interview on “In Laiman’s Terms.” Next time, newcomer Jason Scene.
