Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the resurrection of Pure Class Wrestling. I'm your new color commentator, former PCW Tag-Team Champion Al Laiman, and I'm proud to represent the old generation of PCW by helping call the action for the new breed.
If you look at this possible talent roster we have coming back, there's no doubt in my mind that the old is going to clash with the new. We're going to have rivalries renewed, alliances questioned, and new lines in the sand drawn. Unfamiliar names will challenge the established, and the latest establishment of one of the most respected names in the wrestling business will see new life again. Welcome back to Pure Class Wrestling, we're in for a ride!
Rumored names to be returning include the classic dark one, former world champion Phinehas Grimm. It's impossible not to respect this guy, not only for what he achieved, but the way he carries himself. No instances of outside issues or problems, the guy is a classy individual and always gives the fans a show. His presence in the locker room will be a good guiding name for the rookies to follow.
It's also possible another former world champion in Ace Anderson has signed a new contract. Ace was arguably the most successful world champion in the company's history, and easily the most feared and hated individual on more than one occasion. Ace's acts of ruthlessness were emphasized especially when he broke a little girl's heart, showing that he fears nothing and won't show solace to any competitor. While few make like the Ace, his respect is never questioned.
Jacob Roth will be bringing some Heavy Metal to the speakers, as one of the most entertaining stars in the company's history has been requested more than anyone, wrestlers and fans alike. Those closest to Roth would say he has yet to hit his peak, but has earned his chance to compete with the best.
There are even rumors that some names from PCW's beginning have been contacted, such as Pegasus, Non Compos Mentis, and the Prophet. Interviews with 2Guys, Jade, and James Keenan were attempted, but unsuccessful. Their returns are rumored, but questionable.
It wouldn't be a PCW reunion without one of the more unique stars in professional wrestling, the Elven one himself, Lantlas Anduril. Lantlas hasn't been seen in a long time, but his name has appeared on the "rumored to return" list, and with former world champions Anderson and Grimm returning, both who've been allies and rivals with this guy, anything is possible. As his former tag team partner, I anticipate seeing if the elf has still got it.
And of course, the ringleader, the Icemann himself will be returning to the head position. Displaying the respect he has in the business by the dedication of those who've worked for him, and the ability to resign them every time he goes back in business, we're in for a treat. Icemann has made some new contacts, signed some new performers, and has even brought in a crafty veteran to call the action in yours truly. There is no doubt that this new incarnation of the product will be the most exciting and unpredictable PCW action yet seen to those in Greenville, along with anyone with a strong internet connection and a great taste in pure wrestling.
This is new PCW Color Commentator Al Laiman, saying that the Truth is a Virus. You may disagree, you may call in to trash talk, you may even be a performer wishing to challenge an old-timer to the game of grapple... Well guess what I say?
SO BE IT!
Welcome back everyone, stay tuned for 2011!
