This was *very* well done. Kudos to you. Now we just need to get you behind a desk in a suit and tie with a kick-ass intro theme and stunning graphics. But this was full of win. Nice job.

The suit and tie I can definitely do. For the entrance theme and graphics, I'd need to film and edit. This was a straight record-to-webcam. Thanks for responding!

I appreciated it, and it was quite good (even with some of the out of syncness on my end).
It was so good, that I couldn't get my wife to read all 12 pages of the results, but she knew everything that went on, and was somewhat entertained by it, because of the verbal presentation.
...she did say she would prefer if you had a shirt on though, for she feared a horrific nipple slip throughout the broadcast.
Very well done, Mr. Laiman. I look forward to more video reviews/predictions in the future. It was a nicely added touch.

Great video man, thorough review and predictions and glad to hear the voice of the great Al Laiman And does Al have his own catchphrase now......."We'll see where that goes!"

I thought it was pretty good. Better then anything I've seen from people from eWrestling, going onto YouTube but that would be like, 5 people Also I second Mike on the suit! Thanks for the kind words man, and also night tattoo on the right shoulder.

I don’t know if you can even do it on these boards, but this is the sort of thing that should be on the front page where the casual passer-by can find it. If I were cruising around for an efed to join, this would be the sort of thing that would get me to sign up. I’m a sucker for the immersion factor.
A way to dress it up without going crazy might be to put up some PCW flyers behind you and make it look like one of those tiny little offices producers use.
Seriously awesome.

Forgive the "uhs" and the "we'll see how that goes." I didn't script it at all, so that's a result of that.
Next time, there will be a suit. I'll try to have something in the background, though without a printer or anything I don't know how I'll do that. Maybe a handwritten PCW Trauma sign or something.
If anyone would be willing to help with graphics and editing for an entrance theme, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Icey suggested speaker phone interviews, and I think that could be a good idea. I definitely believe we'd have to script it beforehand though to avoid my annoying repetitiveness.
Thanks for all the great feedback guy.

Yeah, that was another thing my wife had said: "if he is going to be a commentator, he's going to need to stop with the 'uhs' and 'ums.'"
I told her it was all improv, so for that, it was a great first attempt.

Man that's great. Very good supplement to results; everyone should read the results because they were well written, but it's also a good way to get one sense of how your character is being interpreted, and also a fun way to find out the next card. Props.

Icey asked if I ever considered managing in real life. So I thought I'd share one of the actual live promos I did, for the hell of it.

I like the setup of the ring. But was it as stiff as it looks?

Yes. There's a reason I had to take time off after this show after bumping in that ring for months.

Really cool idea to do this! Liked it. Next time, there will be a suit. Thank God! Do you think there'd be enough interest to turn this into a review/call-in show? Use some kind of internet radio blog thing and advertise when the show would be so we could listen and call? If not, the video recap suffices! Also on the interview subject--were you talking in-character phone interviews there? Because if so, interviewing "Laura Seton" could be a bit of a problem since, you know, I'm not actually a chick. But it IS a good idea and even if I'd just have to be jealous of everyone else getting interviewed--it'd be a lot of fun to listen to them! Fyi: Pronounced SEE-ton (like St. Elizabeth Ann Seton) not SEE-tahn. No offense of course to the mispronunciation.

People would definitely have to help me with the technology of that. I just barely learned what Skype is.

Forgive the "uhs" and the "we'll see how that goes." See, this is why I prefer pure audio format over video - so much easier to remove those annoying little repetitive moments without other people noticing (have you tried editing out a couple of seconds of video footage without it looking like it skipped a litte?). thanks to awesome editing (or barely capable in my case), the only err's and umms left in are either intentional or when there's a case of 'too lazy to edit' As for technology to do call ins, well its either easyish or tricky depending on what you're trying to accomplish - a call in show would be hard in my opinion as in order to not sound strange and random, you'd litterally have to stream a live show and have users skype in to talk. As for the interviews, very easy and can be done in one of two ways - one, get your microphone in a position where it picks up both your audio and your speakers audio - then use skype - the call will be blasted out your speakers, picked up by the mic and hey presto - you've recorded yourself a caller... the otherway is slightly more tricky - there is a program that uses skype out there (who's name has escaped me) which allows you to record a call made by two people - this would be recorded as a seperate audio file, so all you have to do is then edit the audio file into your video file at the end of it. the bonus of this method is that both voices are clear, not one sounding like they're coming out of a speaker like in the first method... when they would actually BE coming out of a speaker... on a completly different note - YAY - i got name checked!
