I know who's going to win, but no way Bruno is going down in a squash.

I almost gave the nod to Bruno. Then, I really thought about the matchup. As great as Bruno was as a champ for the people, his people was pretty much just the Northeast, and most of them was old white dudes. As a face, Hogan was the idol to many races and ages, and not only across the Nation but throughout the globe.

Bruno sold out stadiums before the product was nationally televised. He had a nine-year title run and was universally over as hell. I'll give my nod to Bruno, for being on top far longer, and for knowing when to leave the business.

..... for being on top far longer, and for knowing when to leave the business. This....right now Hogan is taking a big dump on his legacy and should have known when to get out. However, I'm really not sure where to put my vote. Bruno was huge, but Hogan really was a household name. Ask anybody to name a wrestler (especially if they're not a fan) and there's a good chance they'll say Hulk Hogan, that's how much of a wide reaching figure he was. As much as I'm not a fan of Hogan's stuff now, I have to give him the nod.
