MATCH ONE
Singles Match
Usali Basilisk w/Machine vs. Gregory "The Ripper" Kennedy
Referee: Joseph Buckland
Details:The new and unexpected music of Gregory ‘The Ripper’ Kennedy hits to signify the start of the first match and the man himself walks out onto the stage. As ‘Headstrong’ by Trapt continues to play, the fans cheer him optimistically. The same cannot be said after his music finishes and he takes his place in the ring however. Usali Basilisk makes his way onto the stage with his gigantic sidekick in toe, Machine. The PCW Faithful boo wildly as he walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring. Meanwhile at ringside, a curious fellow is seen with a large sign expressing ‘Ass-ension Sucks!’ while giving a large grin into the camera. As he is focused on, Al Laiman makes a remark that he seems familiar and that he is called Darren Hughes.
When the camera moves away both Gregory “The Ripper” Kennedy and Usali Basilisk are now in the ring. Machine, Basilisk’s monstrous…monster, stands motionless outside of the ring. The fans are cheering Kennedy while jeering Basilisk. They lock up in the middle of the ring, jockeying for position. Kennedy pulls Basilisk into a side headlock, but Basilisk pulls free from the maneuver. Annoyed, Kennedy goes after his masked opponent with a flurry of kicks, only to have Basilisk exit the ring in a hurry. Referee Joseph Buckland instructs Kennedy to a corner to allow Basilisk back into the ring.
With Usali Basilisk back into the ring, both men meet up in the center, throwing strikes at one another: Kick from Kennedy; punch from Basilisk; thunderous kick to the ribs by Kennedy, and that ended the striking the match. The masked man clutches his side, obviously in pain. Kennedy throws another well-placed kick to the ribs, but Basilisk catches his leg this time, then does a back heel trip. Kennedy sits up, trying to get to his feet, but Basilisk throws a soccer-style kick right to the face!
Grabbing a handful of hair, Usali Basilisk pulls the blonde-coiffed “Ripper” to his feet, kicks him in the gut, and set him up for a Brain Buster. He hikes him up into the air and dumps him on his head. As he goes for the cover, four men come down to the ring: MONROE, “The Solution” Jake Andrews, “The EGO” MJW, and Whitey Ford. Machine catches wind of this and does…nothing. Knowing that Machine won’t do anything until instructed, Basilisk instructs his monster to annihilate the members of AWA. The seven-foot-plus German starts to clean house, punching, kicking, and throwing them all over the place. Satisfied that Machine has Kennedy’s four goons under control, he runs after his downed opponent. However, Kennedy isn’t downed anymore, for he is on his feet, and throws a Quick Kick to the jaw. This drops Basilisk and Gregory Kennedy goes for the cover, and Basilisk kicks out after two.
The numbers game finally catches up with Machine as he is taken over by the four men. And, perhaps for the first time in his PCW career, is taken down. The fans bear witness to Machine’s vulnerability. The giant German can be weakened and can be taken down. Finally, with Machine incapacitated outside of the ring, the four members of AWA enter the ring and jump Usali Basilisk, causing Joseph Buckland to call for the bell, awarding Basilisk the disqualification victory.
Winner: Usali Basilisk via Disqualification
An Unlikely Ally
Details: The AWA Four quickly dominate Basilisk, forcing him down to the mat with a barrage of kicks and clubbing blows. The abuse continues as ‘The Ripper’ comes to his senses in the corner, wondering what the hell is going on. Again the PCW cameras move to ringside and pick up on Darren Hughes’ activities. This time the slightly humorous looking man has a sign up saying ‘I have a bigger ego than MJW!’, a message that the man himself seems less than interested in.
Jerry Andrews: Oh come on! You made your point!
Al Laiman: Maybe they have a few points to make?
Kennedy struggles back to his feet with help from the ropes as Referee Buckland tries to break up the ensuing chaos. The referee makes little progress and merely gets shoves backwards as yet more blows rain down on the Invaders’ chosen target. Pushing himself into the middle Gregory Kennedy seems to join the referee in trying to break up the group, causing them to stop the beatdown momentarily. All eight eyes focus on Kennedy as he holds his hands out cautiously.
Jerry Andrews: Bad idea Newbie… get out of there!
Al Laiman: At least he had a good long PCW career… ok, maybe not.
As the four members of the AWA group bear down on the duo of Kennedy and the referee, Greg suddenly turns to the left and throws a boot straight into the groin of Referee Joseph Buckland! The entire crowd boos immediately at the betrayal becomes clear and Buckland is launched over the top rope to the outside, crashing to the ground with a huge thud.
Jerry Andrews: Good lord, not another one!
Turning to the AWA, Kennedy merely smiles and high fives them before laying in a boot of his own into the silver encased skull of Usali. As the now-five men resume the beatdown the crowd’s reaction turns from booing to downright anger… until a familiar song hits the PA System.
‘Winter Shaker’ hits and out of the back comes an expected, but welcome saviour for Usali, the Hangtown Horror, Grimm! He dives out of the curtain and makes a beeline for the ring, armed only with his formidable fists and feet. The five men of the AWA take notice of the music at the last moment, jumping out of the ring before the raging Grimm can lay a hand on them.
Jerry Andrews: Thank Cthulu for Grimm!
Al Laiman: Don’t you mean ‘thank God’?
Jerry Andrews: Not even God can make something as fearsome as Grimm!
As Usali attempts to recover, Ford, MJW, Monroe, Kennedy and Andrews bail up the ramp looking back at the furious Grimm. The man known as ‘The Solution’ Jake Andrews seems to be especially vocal, shouting “You think you’re tough!” at one of the toughest SOB’s in PCW’s history. As Trauma goes back to a commercial break, Grimm stares down uneasily at the man he just saved.
MATCH TWO
Singles Match
"Puro Power!" Kaijin Shinryu vs. Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith
Referee: Melina Cruz
Details: The first man to make his entrance is an irate and focussed looking Kaijin Shinryu, walking to the ring to the Japanese tones of “Shitataru Mouru”. Cheering hard for paragon of powerful puro, the PCW faithful watch as he takes a moment to calm himself and pray before making his way to the ring. He has barely had time to settle in when Dir En Grey is cut off.
It is replaced by Dope Star Inc and a mixed, but mostly positive, reaction to Tyrone ‘Crazy Boy’ Smith. He doesn’t appear right away, but when he does it’s apparent why. As he walks onto the stage he is nursing injured, bandaged ribs after the attack from the AWA Invaders two weeks earlier. He slowly makes his way to the ring and takes his place in the corner as Referee Melina Cruz signals for the bell.
The match begins gingerly with Smith unwilling to open himself to further injury. Eventually the two men lock up but Shinryu transitions into a Rear Waist Lock right away. Feeling the grip tighten around his midsection, Crazy Boy hits a back elbow and a second before hitting the ropes. As both men meet in the middle, Puro’s low centre of gravity aids him in dropping Smith with a shoulder block. Into the ropes goes Puro Power who vaults a recovering Smith, meeting him again in the centre. This time Crazy Boy attempts a Hip Toss but Shinryu plants his feet and executes one of his own.
Once Smith gets back to his feet he is slapped across the chest with a series of vicious chops that push him back to the ropes. Shinryu whips his opponent across the ring and attempts a snap scoop-style powerslam only for Smith to fall out of the back door. Turning around, Shinryu walks straight into an elbow to the face followed by another two. With Puro Power stunned, Smith hits the ropes and returns with a Headscissors that Puro resists, landing Smith back on his feet. As he tries to go back on the offence, Smith is smashed across the windpipe by a devastating Standing Lariato! He pins but only gets a two count.
Both men climb to their feet and exchange blows with Shinryu gaining a quick advantage. Out of desperation Smith throws a violent clothesline that is ducked, leading straight into an improvised Backdrop Driver and another close two count for the Japanese Superstar. Dragging Crazy Boy back to his feet, Kaijin hits another volley of open handed chops followed by a wild Lariat attempt. This time it’s Smith’s turn to duck. As Shinryu struggles with his balance, Crazy Boy hits a boot to the gut and nails a snap DDT, only reaching a two with a lateral press afterwards.
Wanting to finish the match ASAP, Smith moves to the corner and begins to climb very slowly. Holding his hurt ribs all the way up, Crazy Boy finally reaches the top turnbuckle and waits for his opponent to recover. Once he reaches his feet, Shinryu turns and watches Smith come flying off the top with a huge Missile Dropkick… but at the last moment Shinryu moves out of the way, sending Smith crashing ribs-first into the mat.
Smith tries to recover but as he gets to his feet, Shinryu grabs him and hits a Reverse STO, following it with his trademark Tsumirugawa Clutch. With miles to go until he can reach the ropes, Smith has no option but to tap and give the victory to Puro Power.
Winner: Kaijin Shinryu via Submission
MATCH THREE
Tag Team Match
High Tide & Jules "The Wasp" Martins vs. Whitey Ford & "The Ego" MJW
Referee: Manny Cruz
Details: ‘You Are A Pirate!’ by Alestorm hits to announce the entrance of the first team in this eagerly awaited contest; the unorthodox concoction of High Tide and Jule ‘Wasp’ Martins. The crowd seem unusually happy to hear the music of the ever wily pirate, apparently as he saved his partner from the grasp of the AWA newcomers on the last show. The music continues to play with no sign of the team on the stage.
The crowd begins to grow restless as still nothing happens. After a while the tron shifts to an image of the backstage area. There the camera finds the missing dynamic duo… slumped against the walls of one of the many corridors. As the view pans out the figures of five men are seen looming over both members of this new team, pounding down with repeated blows to the head and midsection.
Jerry Andrews: That’s the AWA again! Goddamnit they’re not even waiting for the match to start!
Al Laiman: You can’t lose if you don’t actually start the match!
There’s an audible boo through the arena as Whitey Ford grabs the head of Wasp and throws it into the wall, sending his supposed opponent to the ground in pain. ‘The Ego’ MJW gives a similar treatment to his other rival, bouncing The Rated ARRRRR Superstar’s head off a nearby equipment crate.
At that point, MJW tells the three members of the group not meant to be in a match to keep his would-be opponents busy while himself and Ford take care of business. With that, the two men walk off, not even bothering to look as Greg Kennedy, Jake Andrews and Monroe set upon their victims.
The cameras move back to ringside and a feeling of frustration fills the crowd as their match seems to evaporate into thin air. After a long moment of silence, finally ‘Big Ego’ by Dr Dre hits the PA System to signify the arrival of the two AWA representatives. MJW and Whitey Ford walk out onto the stage to a resounding and overwhelming chorus of boos and jeers but they seem unaffected by it as they make their way to the ring.
Finally they climb into the ring and corner the referee, Manny Cruz. They appear to be telling him to ring the bell and count out their opponents. Initially Cruz stands up to them… but they’re very ‘persuasive’ as they grab him by the shirt and push him into the turnbuckles. Finally he gives in and calls for the bell, waiting until the two men back off before beginning his count.
1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10!
The bell rings out for a second time and match is already over, much to the displeasure of the fans.
Winners: Whitey Ford and MJW via Countout
Card Subject To Change
Details: As Ford and MJW celebrate their victory as if they had actually fought to achieve it, the remaining three members of the AWA Five come out to join them. Jake Andrews, Gregory Kennedy and Monroe make their way down the ramp to an impossibly louder chorus of boos as MJW requests, no, demands a microphone. Once reunited in triumphant victory, the AWA wait for the crowd to quieten (which takes a while) before ‘The Ego’ finally speaks.
‘The Ego’ MJW: Is that the best you people have to offer? A drunken Pirate and… a Canadian?! That kind of challenge isn’t even worth our attention, so you don’t get to see that match. Instead, you get the pleasure of hearing Me, Michael John Windsor, and my friends here speak.
The boos are yet again at a volume that deafens the ringside commentators, but none of the five men take notice, laughing and joking amongst themselves instead.
‘The Ego’ MJW: We came to PCW because we needed more asses to kick, but there’s really no fun in it when you people make it do DAMN easy! So is there anybody in this god-forsaken hellhole that can give us just a little bit of a fight?!
MJW looks up the ramp for a response but receives nothing, only another volley of jeers. The Tron remains silent for an uncomfortably long time, prompting another speech from the abbreviated Mr Windsor.
‘The Ego’ MJW: Nobody? Not one single person thinks they can give us a challeng….
Cutting off the self-proclaimed Ego, the haunting tones of ‘Winter Shaker’ hit again and the five men know exactly what is coming. Out from the back walks the Lord of Misrule, Phinehas Grimm. He’s presented with a microphone as he walks down the ramp and he toys with the notion of using it, staring at the instrument like a Viking at a machine gun before deciding to stick with his trusty Axe. He throws the mic aside and makes a beeline for the ring to take on all five men on his own, only to be cut off himself.
This time the crowd explodes with cheers as the Leaping Luchador, Nacho Grande dashes out from the back to join forces with his fearsome compadre. As both men stand shoulder-to-shoulder, Grimm gives a nod of acknowledgment to his unexpected partner and both men start to make a move toward the ring again.
Looking slightly worried, but still confident enough to stand their ground, the AWA Five set themselves for a fight but quickly back off as another three figures emerge from the top of the ramp. The crowd stares up the ramp as Andy D, Usali Basilisk AND Areas make their way down to join the other two fan favorites.
Now the crowd is at fever pitch and anticipating an all-out unsanctioned brawl, looking at PCW’s assembled champions stood together… although a slightly unconventional Areas is stood a little off to the side. As they’re about to storm the ring, an image flashes up on the Tron… the image of PCW President Captain Alejandro Walker. Everyone turns to look at his giant face as he speaks.
Captain Walker: If'n yalls wanting a fight, then ah guess there's no stopping it. So I'm takin you's all out of your matches and making dis a Ten Man Tag Match. Ring the bell, Ref!
With that the screen goes black and the bell rings out, causing the AWA Five to move back on the defensive while Grimm, Nacho, Andy, Usali and Areas close in on them.
MATCH FOUR
Ten-Man Tag Team Match
Jake Andrews; Monroe; Gregory Kennedy; MJW; Whitey Ford vs. vs. Grimm (INT ©); Andy D (N.A. ©); Nacho Grande; Areas; Usali Basilisk
Referee: Manny Cruz
Details: The members of the conveniently christened Team PCW climb onto the apron but are immediately jumped on by a flustered but determined group of AWA superstars. All ten men begin to throw punches and kicks until the PCW collective reaches the inside of the ring and gets onto an even footing with their opponents.
The fighting is fast and frantic and referee Manny Cruz has a hard time checking all of the men. Luckily he has help from Grimm who clotheslines Jake Andrews over the top. Monroe gives the same treatment to Andy D while Areas receives a Side Pump Kick from Kennedy, sending him through the ropes. Nacho lands a snap Armdrag on Whitey Ford who recoils to the outside through fear of a second. MJW leaves only five men in the ring when he lands a high Dropkick on Usali, sending him rolling out of the ring.
Nacho and Grimm move back-to-back as Monroe and MJW begin to circle them, looking for an advantage. Both men attack at the same time while Nacho and Grimm fight back as hard as they can. Soon Nacho gives in to the abuse of MJW’s strikes, finally being dropped with a Stiff Clothesline. Grimm faces off against the equally scary looking Monroe and the two start to exchange hard right hands. ‘The Star Destroyer’ looks to be holding himself well against PCW’s most feared individual but the fight is cut short when MJW hits the Lord of Misrule from behind.
The two members of the AWA clan whip Grimm into the ropes and attempt a double clothesline that he ducks, carrying his momentum into the opposite ropes. Rebounding into the middle, Grimm nails a leaping double clothesline of his own. This sends both men to the ground and to the outside while Grimm climbs to his feet.
All nine men on the outside of the ring begin to fight amongst themselves in a brutal stalemate with no real legal men identified yet. They commit a fatal mistake, however, as they take their eyes off Grimm a second too long. The Lord of Misrule rushes at the ropes and throws himself over the top, landing with a rightfully Horrific Plancha. The PCW group move at the last moment, watching as Grimm takes out all five of the AWA wrestlers.
As they are dragged to their feet, the AWA group are thrown back into the ring by Usali, Andy, Areas and Nacho, all of which follow them into the ring while collecting Grimm from the floor as well. Back in the ring, all ten men re-engage in the fight with no clear winner. Punch after punch is hit until finally Ford, MJW, Monroe, Andrews and Kennedy are pushed back to the ropes. Weakened sufficiently, the AWA Five are grabbed individually by all five of their opponents and launched unceremoniously over the top rope again to a clattering ending.
As they try to recover, Andrews makes an angered and frustrated attempt to jump back into the ring… only to be stopped by Ford who holds him back. The group of invaders slowly begin to back up the ramp with a large chorus of boos. The team in the ring stare at then in disappointment as Ford shouts out “Not now! Not tonight!”
The referee begins to count because…well… one of them HAS to be the legal man. He quickly reaches the full ten count and calls for the bell.
Winners: Andy D, Areas, Grimm, Nacho Grande and Usali Basilisk via Countout
Don’t Trust Everyone…
Details: As the AWA Five retreat up the ramp with no qualms about saving their behinds from a beating, the PCW team remains in the ring looking displeased at the end of the match. Finally the booed rivals disappear behind the curtain to the relief of the audience while the PCW collective decides to leave behind them. Once Andy and Usali reach the ropes, a sudden movement from the rear of the ring catches everyone by surprise.
For no particular reason, Areas grabs Nacho by the shoulder, spins him around and hits a devastating Spinning Back Fist out of nowhere. Before anyone can react or Nacho can even hit the mat, Areas jumps to the outside of the ring and begins to make his way up the ramp.
As he goes, Areas begins to shout back to the ring with the audible words “I Hate Nacho… I Hate All Of You!”. The entire crowd seems confused as Nacho comes to in the ring and Areas approaches the back, still proclaiming his hate for everything in the ring. He receives a huge amount of boos for his treatment of the lovable hero as he turns to go backstage… but is suddenly blasted backwards onto the stage.
The crowd erupts with cheers as ‘Puro Power’ Kaijin Shinryu emerges from the back with his fist clenched and in pursuit of his bitter rival. With a look of shock that says something a little fruitier than “Oh Bother!” Areas shuffles on his ample rear to pull away. Areas soon gets back to his feet and moves back toward the ramp but he’s not fast enough to avoid a huge Lariato from the Powerful Japanese superstar.
Stumbling backwards Areas trips over the edge of the ramp and tumbles backwards, rolling like a walrus in distress all the way down with no way of stopping until it finally levels out. The crowd, while laughing and cheering at the misfortune of the round-bellied wrestler, also cheer at the presence of a revitalised Nacho Grande.
As Areas struggles back to his feet in a clumsy manner, Nacho pushes his way through to the ropes and waits for his opportunity before launching himself over the top rope with a massive plancha. The Leaping Luchadore crashes down on top of the plump Areas, ensuring a soft landing for him and a hard impact for his target. While the crowd continues to chant for Nacho, he and Kaijin disappear behind into the back with smiles on their faces and the rest are at least thankful that one annoyance has been taken care of.
Warning To The Fallen
Detail: A lone camera man wonders down the back hallways of PCW when suddenly a rage filled cry echoes from within one of the locker rooms. The camera man begins to run, homing in on source of the outrage.
Coming to the open door he is nearly knocked over as an irate Loki storms out of the room, muttering half under his breath.
"That son of a bitch..."
The rest of the curses are lost as Loki stalks away from the camera. Regaining his balance, the camera man peers around the corner into the locker room to see what has the former World Champion so upset.
The still wet paint running down the walls, the same enigmatic phrase from the last show is scrawled across the back wall of Loki's locker room.
"For God did not spare angels that sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them to be kept there in pits of gloom till the judgement and their doom."
MAIN EVENT
Tag Team Match
Lantlas (World ©) & Sean Rhodes vs. LoKi & Justin "Stormm" Michaels
Referee: Tyrone Little
Details: The main event gets underway with the entrance of the PCW World Champion, Lantlas, to the haunting melody of ‘Dream Is Collapsing’ by Hans Zimmer. As always the crowd is rampant in its support of the Warrior Elf who looks a little unnerved at the match he is about to participate in. Perhaps that is because of his partner who shortly makes his entrance to AC/DC’s ‘Hells Bells’ Sean Rhodes walks out to a surprisingly positive reception after his actions on the previous edition of Trauma, having saved Lantlas and Nacho Grande from LoKi’s anger, and is happy to acknowledge the crowd as he climbs into the ring. As he does, Lantlas still seems a little out of sorts as if he is not sure if he can trust his partner or not.
The third man to make his entrance is Justin Michaels who turns the crowd on its head in an instant. Following his confusing and bewildering attack on Andy D last time out nobody is quite sure what to expect, and on his way to the ring it seems even he is unsure of his intentions. He is quickly followed by LoKi who receives the largest boo of the four men on his way to the ring, though all he is focussed on are the eyes of Lantlas and Rhodes.
Once LoKi gets into the ring, Referee Little calls for the bell and the match begins. Lantlas and Stormm start off with a collar and elbow tie up that Lantlas quickly gets the best of by moving into a Rear Waist Lock. Going for a basic Mat Slam, Lantlas receives an elbow to the head, allowing Stormm to hit the ropes and return into a Shoulder Block. This time Lantlas hits the ropes, only to walk into an Arm Drap from his opponent. Both men jump up and Stormm runs into a Japanese Armdrag from Lantlas who kips up and leaps into the air, driving his feet down with a Double Stomp that Stormm only just avoids.
Michaels dashes back to his corner and tags out to LoKi while Lantlas waits for him. The Fallen Angel climbs through the ropes and circles around his opponent. They lock up but this time LoKi strikes before the Elf can use his technical skills, hitting a sharp elbow to the jaw. Following it with another three, LoKi pushes his rival back to the ropes and executes an Irish Whip before a Basement Dropkick to the knee. As Lantlas tries to recover, LoKi rushes at him and nails a Swinging Neckbreaker. He hooks the leg for a quick one and a half count.
Pulling Lantlas to his feet, LoKi whips him into the ropes again and ducks for a Back Body Drop. He’s a second too early though as Lantlas lift a boot into his face and follows it with a jarringly stiff Roundhouse to the skull. The Elf takes a brief moment to consider his next move, unsure whether he can rely on Rhodes, before finally tagging out. Rhodes climbs into the ring and nails a right on the recuperating LoKi. Adding another two to that, Rhodes sets him up and clams him to the ground with a quick Scoop Slam. With the Fallen Angel down, Rhodes hits a collection of fast, powerful Elbow Drops across the chest and covers for a two count.
As Non Compos Mentis pull him up to his feet, LoKi retaliates with a slug to the gut and a rising knee to the midsection. Stunned by the blow, NCM is easily hit by an STO and cannot prevent a tag out from LoKi to Stormm. Michaels immediately dominates Rhodes, locking in a Double Underhook hold on him. A submission does not look likely so Stormm lifts him up and drives him down with a Double Underhook Suplex. He pins but it isn’t enough for a win.
Stormm lifts Rhodes back to his feet but receives a hit to the midsection, followed by another and a sudden, crushing Powerslam. Crawling across the mat, NCM struggles but eventually tags out to Lantlas who jumps into the ring and takes out the recovered Stormm with a brutal Yakuza Kick. Following that he turns his attention to the corner and fires a boot at LoKi, connecting but faling to knock him off the apron. Turning back to Stormm, Lantlas grabs him and drives him to the mat with a Brainbuster, pinning for two and a half.
As Lantlas pulls him up, Stormm lashes out with a blow to the head and whips him into the ropes. On the rebound, Stormm goes for a clothesline but Lantlas ducks. Both men rush into the other ropes and their partners reach out. Lantlas is faster however and dives into a clothesline that sends both himself and Michaels over the top rope. On the way over, the warrior elf’s arm gets caught in the top rope and wrenches awkwardly.
Referee Little signifies that both men on the apron made blind tags and they jump right in to begin fighting. Little goes to assist Lantlas as the two new legal men meet with a volley of vicious punches. Clearly there is no love lost between these two as they go at it without hesitation, finally resulting in LoKi gaining the advantage and hitting a shuddering Spinebuster. Both men climb to their feet only for LoKi to drive Rhodes down again with a hard Conviction Buster. With the momentum on his side, LoKi looks to go for the win, signalling for the Ragnarok.
He waits, scouting his opponent as he struggles tiredly back to his feet, looking for the right opportunity. Just as Rhodes gets back to his feet, however, Stormm recovers on the outside looking even more dazed and confused than normal, in fact very similar to the previous show. He jumps onto the apron behind LoKi and turns him around. A look of shock moves over the face of the Fallen Angel just before his throat gets driven onto the top rope with a Guillotine.
The crowd seem unsure what is happening, and so do both Stormm as he walks away from ringside and Rhodes as he turns around. Seeing the damage done by his supposed rival, Rhodes shakes off the damage and looks to hit the ropes. As he does, he impacts the injured Lantlas who is seated on the apron, sending him flying to ringside. Rhodes turns and realises what happened but he can’t do anything to help his fallen partner as LoKi attacks from behind.
Lifting Rhodes into the air, LoKi tries to hit the Omega Driver but his opponent slips out of the back door and turns him around. Through total instinct, NCM hits a boot to the gut and drives LoKi head first into the mat with the Fractured Mind, securing the pinfall.
Winners: Lantlas and Sean Rhodes via Pinfall
What Happened?
Details: As the bell rings and AC/DC plays out through the arena, a scene of confusion surrounds the ringside area. Stormm is already on the stage and has an expression of confusion about what he did and why he cost his team the match by attacking his own partner. Meanwhile, said partner remains motionless on the mat, clutching his head after the effects of his betrayal.
At ringside, the tall and powerful figure of Lantlas is handed his PCW World Title while he remains seated on the matting, staring back into the ring at his partner. The mood can only be described as tense as he meets eyes with Sean Rhodes who extends his arms as if to say ‘It was an accident’. Both men remain staring at each other with barely a flicker or stare but eventually Lantlas has to move to cradle his injured arm.
It is clear, though, that the Elven Warrior is still far from certain about his future contender’s motives as they get one show closer to their inevitable showdown. As both Lantlas and Rhodes resume their stare, Trauma fades to black.
