The scene fades in to the backstage area during Trauma 140 near the entrance ramp as South Carolina State Patrolmen escort Whitey Ford through the back and towards the doors to awaiting squad cars outside. Several of PCW Security Staff stand blocking off a hallway to the side as the officers pass by, when suddenly a door opens down the hall a ways. Sebastian St. Paul, Johnathan Cable, and the Citizen burst into the scene as the door bangs against the wall and head at a dead run right for the wall of Security personnel.
“Move!” Sebastian screams at Security as the trio barrel down the hallway towards them, but the guards hold their ground and shout warnings at the New Breed as they race directly at them.
“It's the Untouchables! They're in the ring... right now! They've got Ace!” John shouts as he shoves a pile of tech boxes spiraling down a side hallway and storms towards them even faster, closing the distance quickly.
“Get out of the way!” Citizen adds as they continue on.
Still, the Security personnel stands firmly in place, and shouts warnings to stop, but the New Breed is determined to get to the ring at all costs, and in moments, the cometary collision between the forces at either end of the hallway sends men flying in all directions, limbs akimbo, twisted and tangled together.
Groaning and grumbling, John struggles to his feet first, but a Security guard grabs his legs as he wobbles to his knees. Another guard then joins the first and grabs at John from the floor as Citizen manages to untangle himself from the pile of grasping bodies. Sebastian is caught under a pile of three guards by himself as yet another guard grabs at the Citizen as the scene fades to the interior of the arena where...

Genesis Number One Contender's Match
Cory Steel vs. Tristan Slater vs. Nathan Saniti vs. Q
Referee: Marcos Cruz
The arena turns red and black, and "Oblivion" by Mastodon hits! Cory Steel emerges from the back a calm and focused look on his face. He walks down the ramp with no intentions of anything else except winning his match and rolls under the bottom rope. Quickly getting to his feet he goes straight to his corner. Taking a hair tie from his pocket he pulls his hair back and then remains still, waiting for the first of his opponents. There is a moment of silence before…

There's a mixed reaction from the PCW crowd as Miyoko Kawashima leads Tristan Slater out to the top of the ramp. Miyoko poses with Tristan before the two exchange a peck on the lips. Miyoko leads Tristan towards the ring with Slater following in close pursuit. They reach ringside where last minute strats are discussed. The two exchange another kiss on the lips before Tristan slides into the ring where he uses the top rope to do last minute stretching as he awaits the remaining opponents.
‘Circus Envy’ by REM starts as Saniti strolls out from the back. He pays no attention whatsoever to the jeers of the audience. Standing atop the ramp, cane planted firmly in front of him, purple smoke envelopes Saniti completely. Just as the smoke enshrines him, a line of pyro blasts a path straight down to the bottom of the ramp. Once the smoke clears from the final boom, Saniti has appeared! He then casually strolls up to the steps and into the ring, his unsettling and unhinged smile decorating his face as Slater exits the ring uncomfortably.
The sound of rocket ships can be heard in the background. The low ... but steadily rising rumble of engines. WHOOSH. KSSSSSSSSH. The doors open and ...
... out rolls the FUNK. Q steps out as 'Supersoulfighter' by Lenny Kravitz starts, the crowd getting into that fresh, tasty jam. He's smiling and bobbing his head as he walks to the ring in step with the beat. Slapping hands. Kissing babies. Showing off signs dedicated to him, or anything he thinks is creative or noteworthy. The lights pulsate in multi-colored hues. The music kicking into full swing as he finishes his walk to the ringside area.
The atmosphere has shifted from one of combat to one of FUN.
As he enters the ring, he catapults himself over the top rope and rolls in, sprinting towards the hard camera and getting RIGHT in its' focus, shaking it and directing it out to the crowd in attendance ... who are engaging in a party as he waits to start.
Marcos Cruz ushers two of the competitors out onto the apron, with Tristan Slater already on the outside this means Q joins him and the two legal competitors to begin are Cory Steel and Nathan Saniti.
The two men begins to circle straight away, Saniti with an excited bounce in his step and Steel with a solid focus. Steel moves first, thrusting forward into a collar and elbow tie up that is met by a grinning Saniti. The two struggle for a moment until Steel moves into a hammer lock and yanks hard on the arm of his opponent. As he holds it tight, Saniti begins to move in a weird, melodic fashion and seems to transfix Steel before simply walking away from the hold. Steel, now breaking out of his trance, looks down at his hand and seems shocked that it isn’t still attached to Saniti. He exchanges a look with his opponent as if to say “What the f**k?” to which Saniti replies by mouthing one word…. “Magic!”
“Magic yourself out of this!” Steel shouts and unloads with a vicious combo of rights and lefts that blast Saniti backwards onto the ropes. PCW’s resident Mad Hatter tries to get up a defence but the intense Steel hammers away before whipping him hand into the ropes. On the rebound, Cory sets himself in the middle of the ring and attempts a Hip Toss, but Saniti’s zany athleticism sees him flip through the move and back onto his feet. Before Steel can recover, Nathan springs up and executes a Monkey Flip in the middle of the ring…. But to the astonishment of everyone, the 285 pounder handstands his way out of the move!
Even Saniti is shocked at the athleticism of his larger opponent and is stuck in his daze when Steel damn nearly takes his head off with a brutal Short Arm Clothesline! Saniti hits the mat but struggles back up to his feet in a groggy state, completely at the mercy of Steel. The larger man hits the ropes and charges with a running boot to the gut. With Saniti now doubled over, Steel carries his speed into the ropes again and smashes him in the face with a lifted knee before finally sending him to the mat with a hard Big Boot! Quickly Cory drops to the mat and pins.
One…
Two…
NO!
Saniti gets a shoulder off the mat but Steel stays on the offensive and pulls Saniti to his feet. He sets up for a reverse suplex and hauls Saniti into the air, ready to drop him with the ‘Trouble In The East’ but Saniti improvises and drops out onto his feet. As Cory tries to recover, Saniti hits the ropes and rebounds with a flying Corkscrew Elbow!
Both men finally struggle to opposing corners and tag out, bringing in Q and Tristan Slater. Both men enter the ring at the same time, but it’s the confident newcomer who moves first. Slater tries to execute his technical style by diving for the legs of Q, but the ever tricky superstar evades and dives into an Oklahoma Roll pin.
One…
Kick out!
Slater pushes out and back to his feet with Q following. Going on the attack again Slater throws out a high Roundhouse Kick but again the wily Q dodges and this time rolls him up into a School Boy.
One…
Tw…No!
Slater kicks out again and both men scramble back to their feet again. This time Slater seems to go for another high kick, but he fakes out Q who goes for a second dodge instinctively. Instead, Slater lands a Spinning Chop to the neck of Q who is sent reeling. Bringing him back in, Slater sets him up and delivers a Snap Suplex in the middle of the ring, but quickly rolls through and pulls Q back to his feet too. Without hesitation he delivers a second Suplex, and this time when he rolls through he applies a tight Guillotine Face Lock, wrenching the neck of his opponent.
Referee Cruz checks on Q but gets no submission as Q focuses instead on the piercing stare of Nathan Saniti in the corner. That stare seems to drive Q on as he forces his way back to his feet and pushes the newcomer back toward the corner. With a hard impact, Q breaks free and quickly springs up into the corner and goes for a Monkey Flip. Slater blocks it though, and he turns in the corner to drop Q into a seated position on the top turnbuckle before slapping his with a massive chop across the chest. Quickly Slater capitalises and places Q’s head on his shoulder, hooking a leg and hitting an improvised Bridging Fisherman’s Suplex.

Two…
TH…NO!
Q kicks out and tries to get back to his feet but Slater goes back on the attack and hits a perfectly executed Single Underhook Suplex. With no wasted movement, Slater floats through into a lateral press for the pin again.
One…
Two…
THR…NO!
Cory Steel comes flying across the ring this time, breaking up the pin and grabbing Q by the leg. Clearly he’s lost patience with Q’s near losses as he drags him all the way back to his corner, climbs back onto the apron and proceeds to tag himself in. Q, coming to his senses, argues with the referee about the situation but can’t do anything about it as Nathan Saniti cackles fanatically to himself in the corner at the fate of his rival.
Steel enters the ring but is met with a recovered Slater who eagerly awaits the opponent with whom he has previous history. The two men circle and Steel is the first to move again, looking for a lock up but Slater transitions into a rear waist lock of his own. He tries to get Steel over with a German Suplex but the larger man resists and hits out with an elbow. Slater is sent backwards by the shot and Steel takes full advantage by rushing toward him, powering him into the air and driving him all the way back into the corner with a driving slam into the turnbuckles.
Not relenting there, Steel slams away with shoulder after shoulder to the midsection until Marcos Cruz gets to a three in his count. Finally he pulls back and whips his opponent back across the ring into the opposite turnbuckles. He sets himself then gathers all his momentum in a charge toward the corner…. But Slater moves and Cory crashes into the padding!
Slater takes full advantage, rushing up to the corner and hitting a fierce Shining Knee to the chin of Steel, sending him for a loop immediately. With his opponent stunned, Slater grabs his head and thrusts himself out of the corner, unaware of a sudden, instinctive action by Q on the apron. Tristan dives into the middle of the ring and hits a powerful Bulldog before instantaneously locking in the Crippler Crossface!
The PCW Faithful is on its feet to see if the newcomer can pick up the win, but Marcos Cruz is gesticulating wildly to Slater. “You are not the legal man!” he shouts, waving his arms as he pulls harder on the hold. Cory, to his credit, is holding off from tapping and fighting the hold like his life depends on it. Out of nowhere Q enters the ring, clearly having blind-tagged into the contest, and waits in position out of Slater’s line of sight. Finally Slater gives up the Crossface and stands to confront Referee Cruz, but as he does Q lays on top of the stricken Steel and the referee makes the count!
One…
Two…
THRE…NO!
Slater realizes what is going on and reacts quickly to save the match, landing a blow to the head of Q before he’s bundled out onto the apron by the referee. Q gets to his feet and grabs Steel, pulling him up to a vertical base but the larger man looks weary and is clearly favouring his arm. Still Q whips him across the ring and uses his momentum against him and hits a ‘Heaven and Earth’ throw that lands Steel on the mat. Ever the tenacious competitor, Steel still manages to fight back to his feet as Q looks on, seemingly distracted by the incoherent babbling and mumbo-jumbo of Nathan Saniti in the corner. In the second his eyes are off Steel, the big man pounces forward with all his pace… but Q sees him at the last moment and slides out of the way, diverting Steel chest first into the top rope.
There is another slapping noise as Cory rebounds backwards straight into an O’Connor Roll pin… but again Marcos Cruz is waving his arms around like a maniac! The slapping noise wasn’t the ropes but a blind tag, this time from Saniti. The loony Saniti leaps over the top rope and, with Q’s face totally defenceless, transitions in mid air into a flying Dropkick to the face! Q flies backwards as Saniti takes a mock-bow to the PCW Faithful and goes back on the attack. With Q recovering next to the ropes, Saniti grabs his head and ruthlessly begins to shake it, like he’s trying to get the last few sweets out of a piñata.
Q fights back, pushing Saniti backwards and trying to get some distance, but somehow he seems stunted in his pacifism towards his cartoonish rival. His momentary hesitation, perhaps from him seeing so much of his unorthodox, outlandish self in his opponent, gives Saniti his chance and he hits a shuddering Jumping Heel Kick to the jaw, knocking Q straight to the mat.
Q is completely at the mercy of Saniti and the Mad Hatter of PCW knows it, beginning to set him up for the submission maneuver he likes to call the ‘Cheshire Grin’. Both Tristan Slater and Cory Steel look on, ready to pounce if needed, but just before Saniti locks in the hold… his eyes drift off to something in the front row of the crowd.
The camera pans around to look but it can’t see anything of particular not, yet something has definitely drawn the ire of Nathan Saniti who suddenly, inexplicably, drops Q to the mat. He leaves his rival and makes his way over to the ropes before climbing out to the apron and dropping to the outside, his eyes never leaving that spot in the front row. Now the camera follows Saniti who looks to be babbling to himself again, the expression on his face incomprehensible beneath his thick makeup. Then suddenly…
SANITI JUST ATTACKED A FAN! The crowd erupts into chaos as Nathan Saniti lashes out violently at one of the front-rowers with seemingly no provocation at all! The sounds around the arena is deafening at this completely shocking action and seems only to get worse as Saniti pulls his hand back for a second assault….
…but out of nowhere comes Q! The zany yet much-loved superstar dives at Saniti with possible one of the most devastating QFT’s the PCW Faithful have ever seen! Saniti is sent flying by this show of strength and aggression… but Q isn’t finished there. The crowd and other competitors can only watch as Q totally and utterly tees off on Saniti with a salvo of punches straight out of a Rocky movie. The punches keep coming though as Q seems unable to stop the flow of aggression and violence that is pouring from him.
The act of striking a fan has tipped Q over the edge and he pounds away on Saniti who can only try to cover up and ride out of the onslaught. Strike after strike after strike rains down from the normally-pacifistic Q and Marcos Cruz is left in a difficult position. Does he administer his standard 10 count for a count-out or is this a far more serious matter?
Punches turn to boots and anything else Q can throw as even Tristan Slater and Cory Steel look concerned at what is going on. With the violence outside the ring ignoring the referee's rules ... it's obvious to one Tristan Slater that there's no stopping that sort of anger ... he's seen it before. And having that little bit of knowledge allows Slater to make the unenviable decision of ... heading towards the back.
That's right. Tristan Slater is bailing on this match! Cory Steel seeing his chances of becoming number one contender fading quickly away, he moves towards the other two combatants remaining. But ... before he can get there ... with the contest in shambles and no amount of threats or words able to stop it ... Cruz makes a decision and his count reaches five….
DING DING DING!
The bell rings as the blows keep coming and Q is growing red in the face with the release of all the pent up anger and rage from who knows how long. The weeks that Saniti has been provoking him? The years he has held such a calm demeanor? Whichever it is, the torrent is unending and Cruz calls for a Disqualification for the sake of Nathan Saniti’s life.
Mark Long: The winner by Disqualification…. NATHAN SANITI!
Winner: Nathan Saniti
Q hesitates for a moment at hearing this, but it only seems to infuriate him more and the unprecedented stream of attacks resumes more brutal than before! Neither Slater or Steel want to go anywhere near their former opponent and the attack threatens to go on until security arrives. Sure enough there is movement on the stage but it isn’t PCW Security. It’s…. Kelli Starr?
The North American Champion runs as fast as she can down the ramp and around ringside until she finds Q, still stomping away viciously on Saniti who is curled up in the foetal position, muttering some nonsense as it to protect himself from the pain. Hesitantly, Kelli reaches out and takes Q by the shoulders, pulling him back from the downed figure of his rival.
Out comes Sebastian St. Paul to cover bases, more than likely feeling the pangs of guilt from being involved in the whole situation to begin with those many months back.
The rage and anger suddenly seems to weep from his body in one moment, and the furious Q from only seconds earlier is gone, replaced by a placid shell again. Saniti, in his desperate, babbling state, takes this one chance he has and scuttles off toward the ramp with his coat tails flapping behind him.
A vague and shuddering laugh can be heard as Saniti realises he is now the number one contender to the Genesis Title, and Q can only mutter to himself as Kelli Starr whispers calming words to him, trying to ensure that his anger does not surface again while Sebastian St. Paul helps to physically restrain the Single Letter Superstar as we go ...

... backstage where Gabriel Cross is just arriving at the arena. Flashy and expensive looking coat with some equally stylish pants and shoes, he's looking ever the mega-star as he saunters in. His match for the evening definitely not one to look forward to.
Let's face it: Ace Anderson DEFINITELY has a bone to pick with him ... and in a weird way, so do the New Breed Foundation. He's made a ton of enemies over the past few weeks and very few sympathetic to his cause.
As he snakes his way towards the dressing room area of the building, a light scuffle of feet is heard. He turns to face the direction it comes from, but can find nothing within those silent few moments of searching.
As he goes to turn around ... a flash of steel! And not Cory Steel ... but a steel chair! The chair lands square on the forehead and facial region of Gabriel Cross, dropping him to the concrete below. As the camera pans out, it's John Cable! He's muttering something about revenge being served cold. Throwing the chair on top of the fallen Gabriel Cross, it's only moments later that emergency personnel are on the scene to tend to the fallen Archangel.
