I'm going to leave it this time, because it's a good poll, but this zone is for polls approved through management.
As for your question, when I RPed, I preferred tweener because it allowed me to fit situations easier, but I always ended up as a face eventually. Not sure why it would turn out like that, but it did.

I prefer Tweener, usually because I like to change my style based on who I'm facing. I've been a "super face" for a lot of my time RPing and it's fun, but it can feel a little limiting sometimes.

Being a heel leaves me with so many more options. The scenarios are easier to pull off, because lots of times being a face you need reasoning that goes along with "it's the right thing to do." Being a heel, the hard choices your character would have to make are often made much, much easier due to lack of moral compass.

I also like playing the bad guy. It's just more fun. I'd be terrible at being a face

I've mostly been a Face guy most of my "career" in eW, though I've played the Heel before as well. Heel was always easier to write, but I always find the challenge of writing a Face that isn't just a rinse and repeat kind of guy better.

I really prefer to have a character that can swing to both extremes. I picked tweener, but I enjoy either Super Face or Super Heel.

I guess I've played a heel for a lot of my rping 'career', though when I write I always try to give a sympathetic view. Even with NCM's last run when he was an evil crazy sum'bitch I tried to show that at least one person could give him the benefit of the doubt. So even though I guess I prefer writing for a heel, my style isn't necessarily to make the character look like a bad guy.

I refuse to be restrained by the concept of good and evil, so I guess that I'd vote for tweener.

I refuse to be restrained by the concept of good and evil, so I guess that I'd vote for tweener. ^ Exactly that. Nearly any action or reaction will be considered both good and evil depending on the person viewing it. As far as the character types I play, I've noticed I have difficulty writing characters that are not at least some part of myself, or based off people I actually know.

I voted 'tweener' because, like everyone else has mentioned, it gives you more flexibility. That being said, sometimes limiting factors aren't always a bad thing. Having the ability to do or write anything can be a little too open-ended, and can make it difficult to get anything down on paper. If that makes any sense.

Saniti is, for the most part and by design, a true tweener. I do have to admit I enjoyed playing him as a heel as N. Saniti.
