Greenville, SC; July 24th, 2014:
Billing from Leeds, Maine at a lean and mean 6‘3“, 245lbs, Whitey “The Asshole” Ford is Pure Class Wrestling’s current World Champion and YOUR PCW Superstar Spotlight!
Whitey Ford, a pro-wrestler since the tender age of 19, preferred in the early days to rely on his unmistakable charisma and sense of humor to win over the fans around the world. These days, he instead prefers to have the fans “love to hate” him, having won Pure Class Wrestling’s “Most Hated” at the most recent Icey Awards! It is interesting to note that Whitey Ford was an integral member of the invading AWAssholes, and later the PCW corporate stable Marshall’s Law when both groups also won the “Most Hated” Icey Award.
A storied career.
While he has only held a major title 3 times in his career, he has always main evented since the very beginning. Whitey Ford’s most notable company previous to PCW was Albany Wrestling Association, in which he also held superstar status in addition to holding the AWA World Heavyweight Championship title! Unfortunately the AWA closed it’s doors in the winter of 2012, Ford dropping off the pro-wrestling circuit’s radar - that is until a phone call from some old colleagues lured him back to the squared circle.
Whitey Ford returned to pro-wrestling and joined Pure Class Wrestling - but not alone. With him was former PCW Superstar MONROE, current Underground talent Cory "THE BEAR" Steel, and the former talent "The Ego" MJW who now serves as Whitey Ford's manager. Previously a babyface that played to the fans at any opportunity, now Ford's sole focus is Number One.
The record holder for Pure Class Wrestling's LONGEST International Championship reign, Whitey now holds the Pure Class Wrestling World Championship title after defeating former World Champions Andy D. and Eira at Mass Destruction IV. After building tensions and a couple of heated backstage exchanges, Eira got her World Championship rematch in the form of a Steel Cage match at Living a Legacy VI in which Whitey Ford successfully retained his title! What's ahead of Whitey Ford? Will heat continue to build in his feud with Eira, or will Murdoc decide to cash in his Icemann Invitational Tournament title shot against the PCW World Championship? Will someone else enter the picture? Former World Champion Andy D. back for more???
With an impressive, unprecedented International Championship reign under his belt, only time will tell how long Whitey Ford will hold the PCW World Championship. Love him, hate him, or love to hate him, World Champion he is, and YOUR Pure Class Wrestling Superstar Spotlight!
