Countdown to Living a Legacy VII
The show opens exclusively on PCWrestling.org with "Legacy (Remix)" by Fefe Dobson featuring Yelawolf and highlights of various PCW stars. It then fades into PCW Studios where Shane Dodge and Kassandra Black are seated behind a desk with a large television screen behind them.
Shane Dodge: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Countdown to Living a Legacy VII live on PCWrestling.org! I'm Shane Dodge.
Kassandra Black: And I'm Kassandra Black. Tonight we're going to look ahead to tommorow's huge pay-per-view event and also take a look back at previous editions of Living a Legacy and see how this event and The Icemann Invitational Tournament have helped make careers and build legacies.
Shane Dodge: And there's no better place to start doing that than by looking back to last year's event and the finals of The Icemann Invitational Tournament where Murdoc met LoKi with the TIIT trophy on the line!
Living a Legacy VI Sunday, July 6th 2014 Jerry Andrews: It’s been a long night, a LONG damn night for both these men. Ace Anderson: They’re giving it their absolute all. So MUCH is on the line tonight. The Icemann Invitational win, the North American title... it’s all here for the winner to lay claim to! Jerry Andrews: The Icemann Invitational Tournament is one of the most difficult gauntlets to survive, wouldn’t you say? Ace Anderson: Having done it myself, I can attest to that. From the bottom to the top, you’re faced with worthy opponents every step of the way, sometimes the barest of advantages letting you scrape away with the win that lets you progress. Jerry Andrews: Or win. Ace Anderson: Yes, or win, for that one lucky competitor. There’s no love lost between these two men, which makes winning all the sweeter, and losing all the more bitter. Murdoc strikes out on the offensive this time, no longer content to allow Loki to dictate the pace of the match. An aggressive series of hammer-fisted strikes keeps Loki on the defensive, but the former multi-title champion gives it as good as he gets, the wrestling match rapidly devolving into a nasty gutterfight melee. Russo steps forward to intervene but quickly falls back as the men separate, Loki backpedaling to give himself some breathing room away from the heavy damage-dealing Murdoc. Murdoc pursues, laying a heavy kick and a brutal fist into Loki, hefting the smaller man up onto his shoulders, but - Jerry Andrews: What?! Ace Anderson: Whisper’s Wrath!! Loki pulled it off! Loki BLASTS Murdoc into the mat with Whisper’s Wrath, his trademark t-bone suplex! Murdoc stirs groggily on the mat as Loki scrambles to get distance and gain his own vertical base, the shouts and cheers of the crowd increasing in volume as both men struggle upwards - the camera catching a brief blur as Eira smoothly leaps the barrier to stand, arms crossed and eyes watchful, just shy of legal ringside! Jerry Andrews: Oh NO, she CAN’T! Ace Anderson: She won’t. Please tell me she won’t. Murdoc and Loki again face each other across the ring, the tingling sensation of rising ozone in the air as the excitement reaches a fever pitch and long-building tension reaches its peak! Loki flows into motion, leveling another of his trademark moves at Murdoc - a vicious Kenka Kick! Murdoc swings one huge arm in an upward block, managing to knock THE ENTIRE LEG out of the way! As Loki goes staggering back, Murdoc advances into a full run, hands double fisted, going for the swing and - Jerry Andrews: OBLIVION!!! Ace Anderson: Lights OUT for Loki! - Murdoc makes contact with Oblivion, the savage, double fisted axe-handle! Catching Loki right under the chin, the smaller man’s head is snapped back on his neck, sending him flying! Loki crashes to the mat several FEET away as Murdoc skids to a rough stop, turning and finding his opponent utterly senseless. The crowd is INSANE, cheers, boos, shouts, and shrieks wrapping around each other in a cacophony of noise as Murdoc stomps inexorably towards Loki’s fallen body. Dropping down to a knee, he hooks the leg... Eric Russo coming in to make the count! ...1! ...2! ...3!!!! Winner: Murdoc via Pinfall Murdoc rises to his full height as Audiomachine's "Xerxes" beings to play, Eric Russo handing him the North American Championship belt and raising his arm in victory. Jerry Andrews: He did it!! He won! Ace Anderson: This is the first Icemann Invitational Murdoc has won! You know...you might not like the man... but you have to admit - he EARNED this win. A VERY groggy Loki is carefully loaded onto a stretcher and brought towards the back for examination as pyros explode from all four corners of the ring, sparks showering down on the ring and confetti falling from the arena ceiling to drift across the crowd as Audiomachine’s “Xerxes” continues its victory march through the speakers! At the solid, heavy boom of bass usually heralding Murdoc’s entrance to the ring, the very ring ropes themselves burst into strands of flame! Murdoc stands, tall and triumphant in the ring, the sole standing competitor of a battle through which he fought many to reach his final reward! |
Kassandra Black: Of course Murdoc would take the tournament victory and the title shot that comes with it and cash it in against Whitey Ford at Return to Glory V.
Shane Dodge: Murdoc was not able to take the title from Ford that night, but other TIIT winners have successfully cashed in their title shots and claimed gold thanks to the tournament. Will TIIT be a launching pad to a new champion again this year?
Kassandra Black: Now, speaking of last year's Living a Legacy event, that was also the show where we saw the debut of the Underground. Last year, Cory "The Bear" Steel took on Gem to name the first ever Underground Champion. Let's look back.
Living a Legacy VI Sunday, July 6th 2014 Gem now pulls Cory Steel to his feet and she sets him up. He powers out of it and shoves Gem backwards. Gem’s leg gives out on her and she falls to the mat. Gem rolls underneath the bottom ropes now. She then uses the ropes to pull herself back up just as Cory Steel is setting himself up. Cory Steel charges at Gem and he hits her with a spear through the ropes! Both competitors fly through the air and Gem collides with the announce table back-first! Jerry Andrews: And... wow... what!? Ace Anderson: They’re right on top of us now folks! Cory Steel is directly on top of Gem as she lays on the floor with her head up against the announce table. Steel then starts to unload on Gem with right and left hands to the face! Jerry Andrews: Oh my god! Ace Anderson: There’s nothing anyone can do! This is no disqualification! Finally Cory Steel stands up and he pulls Gem up. Gem is now bleeding from the face as well. He Irish whips her towards the steel steps, but Gem manages to reverse it and Cory Steel hits the steps instead! Gem collapses to the floor. Jerry Andrews: Both competitors are down and this is chaos out here! Gem slowly stands up and she rolls into the ring. She falls to the mat once again, her injured leg unable to hold her up for long. Cory Steel slowly pulls himself up as well and he returns to the ring. He walks over and pulls Gem up. Suddenly, Gem spins him around. She then sets him up and quickly hits “What Dreams May Come!” Ace Anderson: Woah! Out of basically nowhere! Jerry Andrews: Gem has just planted Cory Steel and this could be it! 1.... 2.... ... 3!!!! Ace Anderson: Gem does it! What a match! Winner: Gem Gem celebrates her victory with the fans, subdued as ever but a slightly less stoic look on her face that normal. As she begins to make her way to the back, the lights dim and a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp. Standing on the stage, basking in the spotlight ... she turns back to the ring and surveys the situation and the sweet, sweet victory and the title of the first Queen of the Underground. |
Kassandra Black: Gem walked out of Living a Legacy with a championship last year. This year she goes for the biggest title in this company: The PCW World Championship. Will she have similar success?
Shane Dodge: That awaits to be seen. Now, back to the Underground for a moment, we've witnessed a lot of extreme moments in the Underground since then, but the most extreme could come tomorrow night when nine PCW stars put their bodies on the line in a ladder match for the Underground crown.

PCW Mass Destruction V Sunday March 15, 2015 Both men stagger up to their feet. LIGHT grabs a chair and he cracks Cory Steel in the face with it. Steel drops to the mat. LIGHT throws a chair on him. And another. And another. And another! Jerry Andrews: LIGHT is burying Cory Steel in chairs! The referee starts to count, but LIGHT isn't done yet! He makes his way to the top rope! Jerry Andrews: What the hell is he doing!? Ace Anderson: The Implosion! The Implosion onto a pile of chairs, crushing Cory Steel below! The crowd is on their feet! Both men are down. The referees look at one another and they all begin to count. Jerry Andrews: Both men are being counted down! 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... Ace Anderson: I hope it doesn't end like this! 7... 8... 9... Jerry Andrews: Wait! LIGHT is on his feet! 10! The bell rings. "Cory Steel has been eliminated!" LIGHT stumbles backwards and collapses to the mat. His arm is raised in victory. Winner and NEW PCW Underground King: LIGHT by being the last man standing @ 34:22 Jerry Andrews: What a contest! What a battle! Ace Anderson: And what a victory for our new Underground King, LIGHT! ___________ PCW Trauma March 31, 2015 LIGHT stands up and is alone in the ring when suddenly a man from the crowd jumps over the railing stalking around the ring. He catches LIGHT's attention and slides under the rope backing LIGHT into the arms of Cory Steel! The Bear picks LIGHT up into a bear hug and brutally thrashes him from side to side before slamming him into the mat. LIGHT tries his best to scramble away but the unknown man kicks him across his masked face, Cory also kicks LIGHT in the side, and then both men begin to stomp on him. The crowd boo Cory's actions but it falls on deaf ears as the Bear calls for a microphone. "This is a proper way to introduce you to the Underground LIGHT," Cory yells into the microphone while squatted near LIGHT's head he then looks up at the other man and nods, "You weren't properly introduced I'm afraid at Mass Destruction. I mean you got a taste but I'm pissed friend, REAL PISSED! I told you I was capable of a lot and I'm coming back to take my crown." The Bear tosses the microphone just as the large neared man returns with a set bear trap! Jerry Andrews: Oh my God no! LIGHT tries his best to gete away but the unknown big man grabs him up in a choke hold. Cory grabs LIGHT's squirming leg and lays the trap down the crowd goes silent just as Cory slams LIGHT's foot down in the trap! SNAP! The trap slams shut on LIGHT's leg! The new Underground King clearly in pain grabs the trap trying to open it and yells in pain. The Bear and his friend exit the ring and head backstage whispering to each other. Official pour into the ring, desperately trying to help as Trauma goes to commercial. __________ PCW Trauma April 14, 2015 Cory bends down and picks up the Underground belt, before laying it carefully on the ground in front of his opponent. The Bear: You're keeping this for exactly as long as I say you are. Until I break you in front of the entire world. He walks away, touching his forehead where a little bit of blood has come trickling out. He wipes a bit of it on his sleeve before he continues walking away. He's nearly out of the shot when suddenly there's a sound behind him. LIGHT: We're not done. Somehow, against all odds, the masked man has managed to make it to his feet. He stumbles back and forth, blood dripping from the exposed mouth hole on the mask. It's been a short fight but an absolutely brutal one on both men. Cory charges back toward him, only for LIGHT to dart forward and starting throwing punches. Cory swings back but suddenly, the masked man leaps into the air and smashes both of his knees into Cory's chest. Cory falls back, landing hard on the cement only for LIGHT to come crashing down on top of him. He hammers his fist into Cory's face, over and over again. Cory is still too strong though, reaching a hand up and using it to push LIGHT off of him. The Bear scrambles to his feet, stumbling end over end and fleeing as fast as he can. LIGHT: Come on Bear. Isn't this what you wanted? Cory Steel grits his teeth and goes to step forward. LIGHT stares him down, his face impossible to read behind his mask, but makes a fist. Finally, for the first time since they crossed paths, it's Cory who backs away into the darkness backstage... __________ PCW Trauma April 28, 2015 King of the Underground Championship Match LIGHT (Underground ♚) vs Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith Referee: Eddie Lane With Crazy Boy still struggling to rise, LIGHT goes tearing across the ring in a clear last ditch effort, catching Tyrone with a nasty looking spear to the ribs! As Crazy Boy lays flat on the mat, head lolling, LIGHT mounts the turnbuckle. Facing the crowd, he points at the crowd with both hands, their cheers enormous as he then points straight up! Hopping straight up in the air, he touches on the top ropes JUST long enough to launch himself into a gorgeous Imploding 450 Splash! THE IMPLOSION! Collapsing to the ground with Crazy Boy, LIGHT hooks a leg and waves Lane over, the ref sliding in for the count. ...1! ...2! ...3!! Winner: LIGHT (Underground ♚) via Pinfall @ 19:13 As ”All of the Lights” by Kanye West thumps its way out of the PCW speakers, Lane raises LIGHT’s hand in victory as LIGHT lifts his retained Underground Championship belt to the crowd’s cheers! Jerry Andrews: A big, hard fought victory for LIGHT! Ace Anderson: He really gutted that one out, injury and all, against a determined Crazy Boy. __________ PCW Trauma May 12, 2015 Non-Title Falls Count Anywhere Match Cory "The Bear" Steel vs LIGHT (Underground ?) vs Eira vs Gem vs Grimm Referee: Ed Lane The backstage team rushes around to get cameras backstage. Grimm heads over to the production team and grabs one of their huge TV cameras, shouldering it himself as he stomps up the ramp, the TV feed switching to “Grimm-View” as he heads to see what was going on backstage. Grimm heads through the curtain where he walks past carnage, including the fallen body of Cory Steel, bleeding from the arm and LIGHT who has somehow been thrown into a large dumpster filled with pipes and discarded glass. Jerry Andrews: Grimm could make an excellent cameraman here in PCW if the wrestling doesn’t pan out! Ace Anderson: What the heck happened to Cory and LIGHT? Damn, this is what happens when we hire fat, slow cameraman! Jerry Andrews: Those two are down and OUT. I don't know if they'll be able to continue on in this match! |
Shane Dodge: LIGHT has certainly been through hell since winning the Underground crown at Mass Destruction.
Kassandra Black: Well, what did he expect?
Shane Dodge: In PCW, I've learned to expect the unexpected.
Kassandra Black: And that's exactly what we got on the last episode of Trauma!
PCW Trauma May 12, 2015 Frank Foley: "You wanted us to notice you? You wanted me to notice you? I've noticed. I've noticed that you like violence. You like brutality. That's fine. We can work with that. You want a match Alexa Black? Well how about you step into the Underground!" The crowd cheers. Frank Foley: "At Living a Legacy, you will compete in an Underground Rules match... against Buck Brochamp." Alexa Black smiles. The crowd seems confused. Frank Foley: "And Bubba Reece. And Frank Merritt. And Crazy Boy. And High Tide. And Seth Archer. And Kristoff Michaelson. And LIGHT." Now the crowd cheers again. Alexa looks intrigued. Frank Foley: "You may have noticed that the Underground Champion LIGHT was in that list. That's because the match will be for the PCW Underground Championship. And it will be a ladder match." Another cheer from the crowd. And a smile from Alexa Black. Frank Foley: "Oh, but Alexa, don't think that I am rewarding you. I am not about to reward your violent actions. Because, yes, if you win the match you will be named the Underground Queen. But if you lose? If you lose you'll be suspended from PCW action until I say otherwise!" |
Kassandra Black: That match is going to be the definition of chaos.
Shane Dodge: I can't wait for that. Ladder matches are one of my favorite type of matches.
Kassandra Black: Are you surprised that Cory Steel isn't a part of that match? He's been battling LIGHT for quite some time now.
Shane Dodge: I was at first, but my sources told me that Steel has actually been battling an undisclosed injury for the last little while and that he was barely cleared to compete on Trauma. Foley likely knew that Cory wouldn't be available when he signed that match.
Kassandra Black: Great scoop.
Shane Dodge: Thank you.
Kassandra Black: But I heard that he had legal issues and...
Shane Dodge: ....So, the ladder match will be chaotic.
Kassandra Black: Well, while that ladder match may be chaotic, what about the battle between LoKi and Grimm?
Shane Dodge: Oh man.

PCW Trauma April 28th, 2015 Jerry Andrews: There are just two competitors left! Ace Anderson: One of these men will move on to face Non Compos Mentis in The Icemann Invitational Tournament! Loki turns around and he's immediately attacked by Grimm. Grimm grabs him and he throws him into the corner. Grimm now charges, but Loki dodges out of the way and Grimm hits the turnbuckle. Loki grabs him now but Grimm breaks free. He then sets him up and drops him with Whisper's Wrath! Jerry Andrews: This could be it! Loki pulls Grimm up, but Grimm drives his elbow into Loki's stomach. He sets him up for a piledriver. Grimm lifts Loki up, but Loki blocks it. He then hits Grimm with a back body drop... over the ropes... and down to the floor! The bell rings! "Grimm has been eliminated!" The crowd erupts! "Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the Last Chance Battle Royal: LOKI!!!" Loki stands with his arms raised in victory as the crowd cheers. Winner: Loki @ 32:41 Jerry Andrews: What a match! What a return for Loki! __________ PCW Trauma May 12, 2015 Shane Dodge: What do you think your chances are of getting past NCM and moving on to the Semi-Finals and perhaps even the Finals at Living a Legacy VII? LoKi: I've bested NCM on almost every occasion we've had. Without trying to sound cocky, I think history has a good chance of repe..UMMFPH! LoKi is unable to finish his answer as Grimm nails LoKi from behind with a shovel. Jerry Andrews: Where did Grimm come from?! Ace Anderson: OUTTA NOWHERE! Jerry Andrews: And now he's attacking LoKi with that damn shovel. Grimm strikes with the shovel numerous times to LoKi's back, causing LoKi to fall to the concrete floor after only the first blow. Shane Dodge can be seen scurrying out of the way as Grimm grabs LoKi off of the concrete and slams him head first into the driver's door of LoKi's parked car. Ace Anderson: My God, Jerry. Did you see the force Grimm just used to drive LoKi through that door? Jerry Andrews: Indeed I did, Ace. If you missed it, you can't miss the head-sized dent in the door. LoKi is clutching his head as he is down against the door. Grimm lowers himself to get within eye level of LoKi and then grabs the Hall of Famer's hair before speaking into LoKi's face. Grimm: Welcome back to PCW. You should have stayed away. That Last Chance Battle Royal was to be mine. NCM was to be mine. You've put yourself in the way of The Black Hand and The Black Hand struck. I hope you feel as if it was worth it. Good luck with your match tonight. Grimm releases LoKi's hair and shoves his head back into the car and the feed fades out with Grimm walking off...whistling. __________ Loki finally on his feet, NCM lays in a series of strikes, Loki returning the barrage with a salvo of his own! Back and forth the men battle with punches, until Loki gets in a lucky elbow to the side of NCM’s skull! NCM staggers back, and with his opponent reeling Loki fires off at NCM with a heavy handed punch straight to the head - which NCM dodges! Ducking under the punch, NCM grabs the arm and flings Loki to the mat with a simple hip toss! Hauling Loki to his feet but bent at the waist, NCM locks his arms under Loki’s elbows at an uncomfortably high angle - and HAMMERS him down to the mat with the Fractured Mind! With Loki senseless on the mat, NCM goes for a cover: ...1! ...2! ...3!!! Winner: Non Compos Mentis via pinfall at 13:19 Ace Anderson: A big win for NCM! Jerry Andrews: And he advances in the tournament! Our final four is set! __________ Gem slowly gets to her feet. Grimm follows. The two face off once again. Suddenly they are interrupted with a loud BANG and the arena goes dark! There are loud shouts and the sounds of fighting as the lights slowly flicker back up. When they do, Grimm is down on the floor, knocked out unconscious, blood streaking into his beard. Jerry Andrews: Wait, what the heck is going on here? I couldn’t hear it but I can’t see a thing! Ace Anderson: Oh my god…is that? YES IT IS! Standing above him, not the expected face of Gem but instead, LoKi, crouched down in his black and red trunks and boots, his fist stained with blood and a big grin on his face. The crowd reacts madly to this and Gem, now outside the ring turns around when suddenly, a big man appears behind her and smacks her on the back of the neck, knocking her down onto the ramp hard. The camera looks up and sees that it’s the PCW World Champion, Sadistic. LoKi looks up to the ramp and Sadistic stares back as all match participants are incapacitated. Jerry Andrews: We saw LoKi get attacked by Grimm earlier tonight and it looks like he's now decided to repay the favor! __________ Leaping over the guardrail to save Sadistic from Gem and Eira is "Mr. Showtime" Michael Wryght! His attack doesn't last long however as Justin "Stormm" Michaels charges out to tackle him down to the floor! Then, just to make things more confusing, Grimm rushes out to save his Black Hand teammates! But he's decked by LoKi and the two begin to brawl! Ace Anderson: This is madness! Jerry Andrews: Everything is happening! |
Shane Dodge: I don't know if either man will survive that match!
Kassandra Black: They almost killed each other on Trauma, what's going to happen when they face off one-on-one?
Shane Dodge: It's going to be crazy. And, speaking of crazy....
Kassandra Black: Is that really the segue you're using?
Shane Dodge: I don't know. I'm confused. Anyway, Nathan Saniti and Kelli Starr.

PCW Mass Destruction March 15, 2015 Billy Sadistic is on one turnbuckle. Michael Wryght is on the other and it looks like no one can stop them in time. Suddenly there's a disturbance in the crowd. No one knows what's going on. Out of nowhere, someone runs up and knocks Showtime down! Jerry Andrews: Is that a fan!? Ace Anderson: Wait... no.... it's.... Jerry Andrews: Kelli Starr! Sadistic is about to jump anyway when he's attacked as well and shoved off of his turnbuckle! Ace Anderson: HOLY SHIT!!! Jerry Andrews: N. C. M! Non Compos Mentis, the Hall of Famer, has somehow appeared at ringside, knocking Sadistic down! Grimm stands up in the ring, but now, for once, he's the one who is outnumbered! "Dollface" Kelli Starr and NCM enter the ring. Grimm stands ready to fight. Stormm enters the ring. AAlong with Saniti and Steel and Jones and Archer and Steel and LIGHT and Smith and even Ace Anderson! Grimm realizes what is going on and he backs up, sliding out of the ring. NCM and Dollface are in the ring now, standing beside one another. Jerry Andrews: Dollface is back! NCM is back! The PCW locker room has stood up to the Black Hand! Ladies and gentlemen, this has been Mass Destruction Five! Thank you for joining us and goodnight! __________ PCW Trauma March 31, 2015 Down the hallway, PCW's prettiest and most colorful returnee, Kelli Starr, chats happily with a stage hand. Instantly, Nathan empties his gullet, swallowing hard. He swiftly slams himself against a wall, repeatedly peering around the corner like a paranoid criminal avoiding the police. He begins to mutter to himself incoherently. Nathan: There she is! What shall I do? I can't let her see me. I must away. Now! Before he could retreat, a gentle tap on his shoulder startled him, freezing him in place with his neck out and one foot raised in mid-run. The camera pans in on candy-loving pin-up herself, "Dollface" Kelli Starr! The crowd in the arena erupts with approval! Kelli looks both giddy and apprehensive to see her former lover and tag team partner. She begins to say something, but the words just refuse to leave her mouth. She withdraws her gentle touch, still searching for what to say. Nathan, remaining as still as a statue, adds nothing to the conversation. Kelli: Nathan, I... Nathan: No Nathan here. I'm a flamingo. Kelli laughs at the absurdity at first, but upon seeing that he's genuinely serious, he giggles fade to concern. Kelli: Don't be silly. Now, can we talk? Nathan: I no speak-a de English. I only speak-a de flamingo-ese. Kelli's heart breaks almost audibly, her expression one of sinking, burdenous guilt. She begins to turn away, tears welling up in her eyes. Kelli: Maybe it's too soon. She gives Nathan a peck on the cheek as the waterworks begin to flow. Kelli: Please forgive me. Quickly spinning away, she sprints down the adjacent hallway, distancing herself as fast as she can. Once out of sight, Nathan's body loses its rigidity. One hand floats up to the spot where she kissed him, the other stretches out pleadingly in the direction of his beloved. Three Team Tornado Tag Match "The Bear" Cory Steel & Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith vs Nathan Saniti (International ©) & LIGHT (Underground ♚) vs Non Compos Mentis & "Dollface" Kelli Starr As the bell rings, Kelli Starr walks towards the center of the ring where Nathan Saniti is standing. He freezes perfectly still. She reaches into her tights and pulls out a handful of candy. Jerry Andrews: Is this a peace offering? Ace Anderson: Wait... where in her tights did she get that from? Saniti still doesn’t move as the candy is extended to him. Slowly, Crazy Boy reaches his hand out. He quickly snatches the candy as Dollface looks disappointed. Crazy Boy happily gobbles up the candy and then turns to face his partner, Cory Steel, who is considerably less than pleased. Jerry Andrews: And this is an... interesting way to start a match! The match finally starts for real when Cory Steel shoves Crazy Boy out of the way and he charges at LIGHT, the man who took his crown away at Mass Destruction. That causes all hell to break loose. NCM tackles Crazy Boy down to the mat and starts to unload on him. Kelli Starr turns back to Nathan Saniti who is now attempting to bury his head in the “sand” like an ostrich. Kelli steps towards him and he lets out a loud "SQUEWK!" Jerry Andrews: Okay.... this is weird, right? Even for him? Ace Anderson: .... yes. __________ PCW Trauma April 14th, 2015 As Trauma returns, the camera catches up to Nathan Saniti strolling down the hallway, searching desperately for something or someone. He stops a rushing stagehand, who has his eyes fixated upon a clipboard, with a tip of his hat. Saniti: Good evening, young man. I don't suppose you happen to know is Miss Starr is in the building, would you? Stagehand: Yeah. She's over by makeup, getting "Dollfaced." The Stagehand jerks a thumb down the corridor off to the left and returns to his duties without so much as a goodbye. Saniti looks perplexed as he returns his gaze to the exiting help. Saniti: Thank you so... Well, that was rude. Saniti begins parading down the adjacent passage to where Kelli Starr is being touched up by the resident makeup lady. Seeing Nathan approach in the mirror, the lady smiles knowingly, giggling coyly in Kelli's ear. Nathan bows discretely as both women watch him draw near. Makeup Lady: Here he comes. I'll just leave you two alone. She exits the area as Nathan nods his head in appreciation. Kelli, however, doesn't seem eager to pay him a bit of attention. I must apologize for my actions last week. Kelli continues to apply her makeup, completely ignoring Nathan. Nathan's face bunches up into a perplexed look. He suddenly checks the mirror to affirm his reflection is present. Saniti: Miss Starr... Kelli... I care deeply for you and wish to make amends. Please talk to me. Once more, Kelli gives Nathan the cold shoulder. Fright overcomes confusion as Nathan tears off down the hall at full tilt. As he leaves, the callous look Kelli had before turns into one of deep regret, nearly bringing her to tears. She quickly snatches a tissue, dabbing at her eyes. Kelli: Nathan... I'm so sorry. ... After Nathan has his hands are raised in victory, "Prescription," by Mindless Self Indulgence erupts as Nathan spins his attention to the ramp. His hate-filled eyes soften as he stares hopefully, awaiting anxiously for Kelli to appear, yet nothing happens. The longer her music plays, the deeper his heart sinks. With no appearance from his beloved, he grows heavy with disappointment as he exits the ring sullenly. ... Icemann Invitational Tournament Singles Match Kelli Starr vs Non Compos Mentis Referee: Eddie Lane Landing on the ringside mats, they’re fighting as they stand! This has become a fight! Not just a match, but a FIGHT. The two battling back and forth, it’s bowling-shoe ugly as they wend their way around the ring towards the bottom of the ramp. NCM going for a rake to the eyes, Kelli is quick enough to grab the hand and take a gnarly bite out of that dirty, dirty man’s hand. Where’s Listerine as a sponsor when you need it? God let’s hope he gets there in time! Jerry Andrews: NATHAN SANITI IS HERE! The crowd is cheering, elated at the seemingly in time save! Hell, even NCM is fending Grimm off! Maybe this won’t end so badly. As Nathan reaches the ringside area ... a shock. Twofold. The first? The ringside bell ringing. That seems to stop both Nathan AND NCM in their tracks. Slowly he rises, both hands on his cane and severity in his eyes. Foley takes an obviously guarded position as a knee-jerk reaction. Nathan speaks slowly and deliberately. Nathan Saniti: I'm not convinced. Either way, I refuse to do absolutely nothing as the Black Hand darkens one of the brightest Starrs this federation has had the privilege of witnessing. Frank Foley: Nathan, have you considered that maybe it isn't Kelli that is involved, but perhaps her alter ego? Nathan Saniti: I did, in fact, consider that. I have seen both sides of Miss Starr. I remain unconvinced that her more aggressive counterpart is in control. Frank Foley: Well, I can't have you running amok and injuring our World Champion any more than I could allow the Hand to do damage to you. You understand, right? She places a delicate hand to her ivory throat, massaging gently. “I’m sorry, it’s just, I’ve been SO upset about all this. Here I am trying to be friends with everyone but there’s all this turf warfare going on and everyone is expecting me to take sides!” “Ohhh, that’s a shame. Have no worries there, my little Dollface, I want you to play with EVERYONE.” Kelli rests her head against his side, arms loosely wrapped around his middle as Sadistic smiles over her head at NCM’s helpless frustration. “This isn’t over, Sadistic. I’m going to find out what’s going on, and then I’m coming for you.” Sadistic sighs, almost as though disappointed with the decorated former Champion. “And here we’d thought you’d noticed - I believe my dear brother has plans for you, NCM. As for myself, I have better things to occupy my time with these days - wouldn’t you agree?” A cracked, snaggle toothed grin shows off his jagged maw as he leers down at Kelli, his arm locked firmly around her waist. I must look into your eyes and know this is exactly what you want. Kelli spies Sadistic emerging around the corner. Her eyes become more guarded, her voice hurried. Her eyes examine the floor once again. She mutters under her breath as if trying more to convince herself of her words than Nathan. Kelli: I already told you. They are just misunderstood. Nathan, glowers at her, unconvinced. Nathan: If you truly believe they are misunderstood, please explain it to me. Here. Now. Kelli still refuses to meet his eyes, his height making it easy for her to keep her gaze fixed on the pattern of his scarf. Kelli: Everyone is misunderstood by someone. I know how they feel, with everyone thinking they know them. Thinking they are OWED something by them. Kelli shrugs, her bright curls spilling over her shoulders. Kelli: PCW expects them to behave a certain way, to do things the way PCW wants. Frank Foley doesn't seem to be very involved, and there are too many different people here for it to devolve into anarchy. People would be hurt, Pure Class Wrestling would fall apart. I'd lose the closest thing to family I have. We'd lose everything we have here. Kelli's lower lip trembles, a delicate flush coming to her cheeks as she finally meets his eyes, creamy jade staring into unsettling green-yellow. Kelli: We will lose everything if things don't go right, don't you see that, Nathan? Nathan lifts her face to his, yet still she diverts her gaze. Nathan: Miss Starr, it's just you and I here. Your cryptic speech confounds me still. How, praytell, will we lose everything if the Hand fails? Profound hurt chokes Nathan's voice. Nathan: Please... Tears well up in Kelli's eyes, a lost, helpless look upon her pretty face. Kelli: They are in control, Nathan. She shakes her head violently, shoving herself away from him. In the distant background, Sadistic inches closer in an attempt to overhear the conversation. Only Kelli sees him coming. Kelli: THEY are in control of PCW. We have nothing to fear from cooperating with them. Only by being friends with them will we all thrive. Until such time when you see the truth in things, I'm afraid we don't have much to say to each other. Kelli begins to part ways with Nathan. Nathan puffs his chest confidently. Nathan: A mere leather and gold strap hardly dictates policy in this world, my dear. The only thing they have true control over is you! Kelli quickens her pace down the hallway. Nathan: If control of the situation is what you fret over, then I shall wrest that control from them by hook or by crook. My only fear is that you will be caught in the crossfire once this unfortunate set of circumstances begins. I cannot guarantee your protection if you continue down this path! Kelli begins to sprint down the hallway back toward the dressing room. As she does, Nathan spots Sadistic watching on. Under his breath, Nathan grimaces his fury. He spots Sadistic leading Kelli by the waist back down the Hallway to the dressing room. A dark fury overcomes him as he bolts down after them. Nathan: You! If you so much as lay a finger upon her...! Sadistic smirks with a raised brow, bursting into laughter. Sadistic: If?! Oh, I can assure you, magician, her treatment has been harsh and rigorous. And I'll let you in on a little secret... She loved every minute of it. His taunting cackle too much for the Mystical Madman, Nathan speeds his stride as the couple vanishes into the locker room Nathan had stolen Kelli from. Snapping the door wide, Nathan peers inside, his rage unsatisfied by the empty room. Through gritted teeth, a warning comes. Nathan: Hands and hearts alike may be broken in this war. ... Tag Team Match Nathan Saniti & Tha Joka vs "Dollface" Kelli Starr & Sadistic Saniti pulls him out of the corner and swings at him. Sadistic dodges it. He then kicks Saniti in the stomach and drops him with a Sadistic DDT! Jerry Andrews: That’s it! It’s over! Billy Sadistic doesn’t go for the cover, however. Instead, he smiles, walks over to his corner and he tags in Kelli Starr. She pauses briefly but then enters the ring. Nathan Saniti is still down on the canvas. She slowly covers him. 1.... 2.... Jerry Andrews: Nathan Saniti kicks out! Suddenly Sadistic is back in the ring and he’s unloading on Saniti with stomps! Ace Anderson: Oh, come on! Stop this! Joka charges into the ring and he attacks Sadistic, evening the odds! Saniti slowly gets to his feet as Joka charges at Sadistic. He hits him with a big clothesline and the two competitors both fly over the ropes to the outside! Inside the ring, Saniti turns around and he’s hit with the Candygram! Jerry Andrews: The Candygram! Return to Glory V September 14th 2014 Six Man Tag Team Match The Black Hand (Phinehas Grimm[©] /Billy Sadistic/’Mr. Showtime’ Michael Wryght) vs. Psychedelica (Nathan Saniti & ‘Dollface’ Kelli Starr) & Eira The three members of the Black Hand now stand in the ring with Eira. Suddenly Billy Sadistic slides under the bottom ropes to the outside. He reaches under the ring and grabs a couple of steel chairs. He throws the chairs into the ring and slides back inside himself. Ace: No. Now THIS is too much! Billy Sadistic picks up the chairs. He throws one to Showtime and keeps one for himself. Grimm holds Eira in place as Showtime places a chair around Eira’s neck and Sadistic places his around Eira’s left knee. Jerry: No! NO! Billy Sadistic and Michael Wryght now ascend the turnbuckles on opposite sides of the ring. Jerry: Stop this! Suddenly, before any further damage can be done, Andy D rushes into the ring! He dives at Showtime, knocking him down from the top turnbuckle! Jerry: Andy D is here!? ANDY D IS HERE! The crowd cheers, but Andy D is unable to stop Billy Sadistic in time! He leaps off of the top ropes and comes crashing down on the chair... and one Eira’s left knee! The sickening pop is heard throughout the arena. Jerry: Oh my God... Ace: That sounded bad. Seeing and hearing the obvious injury, PCW medical personnel rush into the ring to attend to Eira as Grimm and Sadistic look on. __________ Deadly Intentions V November 30, 2014 (Murdoc is choking Sadistic out, Hellbent on revenge for Sadistic causing the miscarriage of Murdoc's child. With Sadistic's feet dangling in the air, Murdoc can be seen squeezing the throat tighter and tighter, but he lets go when he hears the familiar tune of, “Dystopic” by Poison Mist.) Jerry Andrews: WAIT! WAIT! It can't be! (The PCW Faithful are popping big, but even more so when from behind the entrance steps former PCW World Champion Eira!) Ace Anderson: It's Eira! It's Eira! Eira is here! What a night of surprises! I thought Eira's career was over at the hands of Sadistic. Jerry Andrews: She's here, Ace! The 2013 Deadly Rumble winner is here! And I have a feeling I know who she is going to go after. Ace Anderson: I don't know, Jerry. You heard Showtime earlier in the night speculate that Eira has pledged allegiance to The Black Hand. (Sadistic slithers to the nearest turnbuckle while Murdoc stands in the center of the ring, unflinching with stoic calm. Eira comes running down to the ring, her music cutting off when she slides in. Eira shares a long glance with Murdoc and then walks over to Sadistic and...hugs him?!) Jerry Andrews: What is going on here, Ace? Ace Anderson: I wish I could tell you, Jerry. I. Am. Shocked. (Murdoc can't believe it. The fans can't believe it. Eira and Sadistic release the embrace and the PCW Faithful are booing like crazy. Sadistic is laughing his ass off and looking smugly at Murdoc - until Eira kicks the expletive deleted out of him! And the place goes wild with cheers. Eira then walks over to Murdoc and embraces him. Murdoc flips his hair back, showing his face for practically the first time in forever and he and Eira kiss passionately. Again the fans cheer.) Ace Anderson: Murdoc was in on it the whole time! I knew there was no way Eira would side with the evil Sadistic. (Eira and Murdoc turn their collective attention back to Sadistic, and the duo begin stomping the proverbial mud hole on him. Sadistic tries to pull himself up by the ropes, but Eira hip-tosses him back to the mat before she and Murdoc continue on their attack.) __________ PCW Trauma January 20, 2015 Singles Match Gem vs. Eira Ace Anderson: Gem going upstairs again! Suddenly Eira is back up and she grabs Gem, dropping her down onto the turnbuckle in a sitting position facing the crowd. Eira now leaps up and she hits Gem with a reverse top rope hurricanrana! Jerry Andrews: Wreath of Barbs!!! Eira with a cover: 1.... 2.... 3! Winner: Eira via Pinfall @ 19:41 Eira rises to her feet as "Dystopic" plays throughout the arena. Eira is breathing heavily from the tough contest that she just competed in. Gem sits up slowly on the canvas. She looks down at the mat in disappointment. Eira looks down at her. When Gem looks up, Eira looks right at her and nods, acknowledging the effort and skill that was on display tonight. Gem slowly gets to her feet and she looks at Eira. She returns the nod of appreciation and leaves the ring so Eira can celebrate her victory. __________ PCW Trauma February 17th, 2015 Gem is seen walking through the arena, stretching and preparing for her match tonight. Suddenly, Eira appears and she gets the drop on Gem. A quick sparring match ensues. After a few moments of tense martial arts combat, Gem finally gets the upperhand and she locks Eira in a compromising position. Eira pauses and looks Gem directly in the eyes. She twists in Gem's hold only to bare her throat, literally. "I trust you. You've seen enough of me to trust in what I can do. Mutual trust is the only way we're going to get through this." Gem releases Eira from the hold. Eira offers her partner in tonight's match a genuine, uncharacteristically warm smile and an outstretched hand. "Deal?" Gem shakes her hand. __________ PCW Trauma March 3rd, 2015 Sadistic: Has the mute come to say something? Or is she just gonna stand there lookin' stupid? I think you've wandered into the wrong neck of the woods, little girl. Now...you'd best run on home before the Black Hand is forced to spank your little bottom blue. Gem does not run home. On the contrary, she takes an aggressive step forward and comes nose to nose with the Phenom. Sadistic snarls, baring his sharp teeth, but Gem won't be deterred. In an instant, Phinehas and Showtime have moved on each side of the assassin. Shane Dodge: Now, now, fellas... Grimm nonchalantly shoves Dodge out of the picture. In a flash, Grant has jumped into the mix. Gem's companion stands shoulder-to-shoulder with her as they valiantly face off against the unruly trio. Sadistic and Showtime exchange glances...as if to wonder 'are they serious right now?' Ace Anderson: This definitely doesn't bode well for Gem and her friend... Grimm, Sadistic, and Showtime move to pounce...but then suddenly freeze. The fans let out a cheer that slowly and steadily turns to a roar. The camera has panned out to find Eira standing not too far behind Gem. Behind her Nathan Saniti. And Cory Steel. And Braddock. And Kristoff Michaelson. Jerry Andrews: I think the PCW roster has had just about enough of the Black Hand's crap! Grimm, Showtime, and Sadistic begin to back away. Clearly frustrated, Sadistic reaches down and scoops up Shane Dodge's microphone. Sadistic: This has gone on long enough. Gem! You're out of your league. Just 'cause these people and those people out there think you're good don't mean you are good! You don't belong in the same ring as the Black Hand, let alone the biggest match of the biggest show of the year! Your magical little run of main event matches is going to come to an end. Right now. Not only am I gonna put you in your place...I'm gonna put you out of commission! The tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Sadistic: I want you one-on-one. Waddaya say? You got the guts to step into the ring with me without your buddies, you main event whore? Gem hasn't broken eye contact. There is a brief moment of silence as she watches Sadistic's face...almost analyzing him. And then she gives a single, deliberate nod. Her allies erupt from behind her, cheering her on. Grant: You're damn right she does! Sadistic has already turned and headed out to the ringside area. Ace Anderson: It looks like we're going to have an impromptu main event! ...... Singles Match Sadistic (World ©) vs. Gem The ropes are nearly within reach of Sadistic's outstretched hand! And here come Grimm and Showtime! Plowing through the crowd and hopping the guardrail... Jerry Andrews: No. Not like this! Out of nowhere, Eira is on the scene! She blindsides Phinehas and Wryght with a charging shoulder tackle! Caught by surprise, Grimm and Showtime spin to their feet and make for the ring. But it's too late... TAP TAP TAP Jerry Andrews: He tapped! Billy Sadistic just tapped out! Gem has submitted the World Champion!!! The PCW Faithful explode! Every fan is on their feet and the volume is deafening! Ace Anderson: Is she main event material now?! Can you see her now?! Gem releases the hold and rolls to the outside where she's met by an ecstatic Grant! __________ PCW Mass Destruction March 15, 2015 Sadistic slowly shakes the cobwebs/concussion symptoms from his head. He pulls Gem up and he rolls her into the ring. He follows her into the ring, with Michael Wryght not far behind. Grimm remains on the outside. He ducks under the ring and returns with a table. He slides that in. He then pulls out a chair and slides that it too. Then he grabs a broom. And a trash can. And another chair. And another. Jerry Andrews: Isn’t it enough that they have a three-on-one advantage right now!? Do they need to use weapons too!? Ace Anderson: Well, it is called ‘Complete Destruction,’ like it or not.... Gem tries to stand up, but she immediately taken down by Wryght. He starts to brutalize her with a series of right and left hands right to the face. Blood flies through the air. Jerry Andrews: This is sick. Just sick. Sadistic picks up the trash can just as Grimm enters the ring. Showtime and Grimm pull Gem up. Sadistic's face is filled with a kind of crazy rage. He runs at her and clocks her right in the face with the trash can. Ace Anderson: Gem has to be out cold. I can’t watch this much longer. Billy Sadistic smiles and he looks out at the crowd. He picks up two chairs. Sadistic throws one to Showtime and keeps one for himself. Grimm holds Gem in place as Showtime places a chair around Gem’s neck and Sadistic places his around Gems’s right leg. Jerry Andrews: No! NO! STOP THIS! Billy Sadistic and Michael Wryght now ascend the turnbuckles on opposite sides of the ring. 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1! A buzzer sounds. “Dystopic" by Position Music begins to play over the PCW speakers. Jerry Andrews: EIRA! Eira spints down to the ring at full speed. She’s holding a steel chair of her own in her hands. The crowd is electric as she enters the cage.... but she’s too late. Snap. Crackle. Pop. Gem doesn’t even react. She’s unconscious. However, the mere act itself makes it obvious that she’s been seriously injured. Jerry Andrews: Oh my God..... Eira hits the ring. Grimm gets to her first. He dropped with a steel chair. Showtime is next. He suffers the same fate. Sadistic is dropped as well. The crowd is going ballistic as Eira drops each member of the Black Hand. __________ PCW Trauma March 31st, 2015 Non-Title Singles Match Sadistic (World ©) vs Gem The battle between these two rivals is getting more and more heated as they fire at one another. And then.... the bell rings. Jerry Andrews: WHAT!? Ace Anderson: Oh no! They’ve been counted out. The crowd boos. PCW officials stream out into the crowd to break up the battle that continues to rage between Gem and Sadistic. Winner: Double Countout Eventually the team of officials and security are able to break Sadistic and Gem up, but then the rest of the Black Hand arrives on scene. Showtime and Grimm are at ringside, armed with steel chairs. Before they can ask, Eira comes rushing out with a chair of her own! Security guards stand between all of the combustible elements, trying to maintain order. "Enough!" Frank Foley stands in the entrance way with a microphone. Frank Foley: "I'm not going to have this break down any further! But that's not the only reason I'm here. I'm here to make an announcement. An announcement that all of you will want to hear. It's about the PCW World Title." The crowd cheers. All the competitors at ringside stop suddenly, their interest piqued at the discussion of the title. Frank Foley: "Of course, as you know, if Gem had been victorious tonight..." "Okay, that's just about enough of you." The crowd boos as Billy Sadistic somehow has a microphone in his hand. Sadistic: "I'm sick of hearing about Gem being victorious. I'm sick of being reminded of how Gem beat me..." "YOU TAPPED OUT!" "YOU TAPPED OUT!" "YOU TAPPED OUT!" Sadistic: "I'm sick and tired of facing Gem." The crowd boos. Sadistic: "Foley, do your job and give us all the match we want. At Living a Legacy, let me finish my unfinished business. Let me destroy Eira!" The crowd cheers at the prospect of the match, but they boo at Sadistic's comments. Frank Foley thinks for a second and then speaks. Frank Foley: "You know what? You have a point. Eira does deserve a shot at you and your championship." The crowd cheers. Frank Foley: "But so does Gem." The crowd cheers again. Frank Foley: "At Living a Legacy we're going to see a triple threat elimination match for the PCW World Championship: Sadistic versus Eira versus Gem!" The crowd explodes. Sadistic slams his mic down to the floor in anger. Showtime and Grimm stand beside him now. Eira, blocked by security, stares right at him. She then turns her head. Gem is staring right at her. __________ PCW Trauma April 28th, 2015 Eira: Sadistic is PCW's World Champion, right? Let's be honest with each other, he's hardly the first insufferable asshole that's held the belt. But let's take a closer look. Sure, Whitey Ford was a douchebag, but at least he had the balls to back up his claim to the gold. Sadistic, on the other hand? Have you seen him defend that belt even ONCE? Jerry Andrews: Well it's hardly HIS fault, he doesn't manage the booking. Ace Anderson: Still though, she has a point. Eira looks around, waiting for a moment before bringing the mic to her lips once more. "Neither have I. People might be quick to point out how fast I lost the World Championship when it was mine, but I also had to defend it at the Pay Per View immediately following the win! Sure, that's no excuse, and a loss is a loss - but where has Sadistic's turn been? Who is he that he gets to slide through on defending that belt for HOW many months now?! Taking a moment to compose herself amidst the noise of the crowd, Eira rakes a hand through her hair to brush it back from her face. Eira: Now, I'm not saying that Billy Sadistic is a slimy backwoods hillbilly who can't get the mud out of his ears to hear a direct challenge when he hears one, but - Eira is cut off mid sentence as a burst of feedback drowns out the mic and the arena lights begin to flicker. Clearly unimpressed, she rolls her eyes as the lights go dark and “God's Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash starts up. A percentage of the crowd stomps and clamps along, but mostly they just boo. *STOMP!* *CLAP!* *STOMP!* *CLAP!* PCW's Phenom appears from the back with a heinous grin upon a heinous face. No, he's not an extra from House of 1,000 Corpses. Or Deliverance. He's PCW's World Champion and he's come in response to his arch-nemesis, Eira. Jerry Andrews: Well, well, well. Ask and you shall receive. Sadistic makes his way down the aisle and into the ring dragging the championship belt along like an old blanket. The lights resume as he enters the ring and approaches Eira with a grin on his face. His salt and pepper hair and beard are as wild as his genuine green eyes. Retrieving a microphone from a ring assistant, he raises it to his mouth as the music cuts out. The booing persists until Sadistic speaks. Sadistic: ... You don't like me, do you? The question is rhetorical. Quite rhetorical, but humorous to Sadistic as he lets out a chuckle. Sadistic: Don't answer that. Because this goes far beyond likes and dislikes. You HATE me. That's okay, because I hate you, too. Gem is annoying, sure. I dislike her, sure. But not like I...HATE...you. And leave it to someone as gutless as you to pull a stunt like this. I get it, I get it. I really do. You can't beat me in the ring because you, my trollop, are a loser. You've lost to me. You've lost your lover and life partner. You've lost any friend you've ever had. And you've lost your *cough* child. ... Special Referee Singles Match Gem vs Eira Referee: Sadistic Sadistic staggers around with Gem on his back trying to fight her off, but she's tenacious. The Phenom reaches the ropes...but there's no referee to break the hold! How ironic! In a flash, Eira is back in the ring holding her spiked knee brace and she charges! She aims for Sadistic's head, but he ducks down and Eira catches Gem across the side of the head with a glancing blow that causes her to release the hold. If it was an accident, Eira doesn't seem remorseful. Instead, she waits for Sadistic to turn around and then lays him out with a sickening blow to the forehead! Jerry Andrews: Sadistic is down! Gem is up...and Gem is down, too! Eira clobbers her with the knee brace and she's dropped right beside Sadistic. The crowd isn't sure how to react but Eira's made it abundantly clear that there will be no allies at Living a Legacy. __________ PCW Trauma May 12th, 2015 Foley, frustrated by the situation, turns towards the entrance way and signals. After a brief delay, members of Pure Class Security make their way out from the back and down to the ring. The crowd is still booing. Ace Anderson: Is this really necessary? Sadistic takes this opportunity as his rivals are briefly distracted. Gem turns to look towards the guards who are entering the ring, and she's leveled in the back of the head with the PCW World Championship. Eira reacts quickly and she tackles Sadistic down to the mat. The two struggle on the canvas as members of the security team attempt to break them up. The crowd is on fire now. Jerry Andrews: Here we go! As Eira and Sadistic brawl, Gem slowly gets to her feet. Guards pull Eira off of Sadistic, but as he tries to stand up, he's kicked right in the back of the head by Gem! Security turns their attention to Gem now, allowing Eira to break free. She charges towards Gem and Sadistic, but is eventually restrained by security. After several attempts to free themselves, the numbers eventually get the best of them and all three competitors are forcefully dragged from the ring as Trauma heads to its first commercial break. ... Outside the ring, Joka hits Sadistic with a right hand that sends him over the guardrail and into the crowd. He struggles to stand up, but he's attacked by Gem! Jerry Andrews: Gem returning the favor now! Gem unloads on Sadistic and she throws him back over the guardrail to ringside. She tries to grab him from behind, but Sadistic kicks free and makes his way around the ring towards the entrance ramp. Ace Anderson: The World Champion is high-tailing it out of here! Sadistic stumbles up the ramp when he suddenly bumps into... Eira! She isn't happy and she attacks the champion, dropping him with a right hand. Ace Anderson: This is madness! Jerry Andrews: Everything is happening! PCW security rolls out of the back to try to control this ridiculous situation, but they are having a hard time doing so! Somehow, Sadistic gets his hands on the PCW World Title and he swings it, aiming for Eira's head! She ducks and Sadistic takes Gem out with the shot! Eira then drops him with a big spear and starts unloading with punches! Jerry Andrews: I don't even know what to say right now! But we're out of time! See you at Living a Legacy!!! |
As the video package ends, we don't return to the studio and the broadcast team. Instead we are now... somewhere. Sadistic stands in the darkness. There is a faint glow in the background and tendrils of fog swirl around his vague silhouette. The Phenom's stringy hair hangs in front of his face, his head hangs low, and the PCW World Championship belt hangs from his left shoulder. As he slowly raises his head, his breath is visible in the air highlighting the cold atmosphere.
"The World Heavyweight Championship," says Sadistic very deliberately while slapping the face plate of the belt. His hand matches the black handprint exactly. "This is what it's all about, right? The pinnacle of excellence. You hold this belt, you make your name immortal. Some people strive for years to attain this greatness and fail. So this is what it's all about, right?!"
Sadistic chuckles, his eyes drawn wide and his mustache so wildly overgrown he can chew on it.
"Wrong!" It's more of a guttural growl than anything. "Sure, the title is on the line and the stakes are high, but this match represents so much more. For Eira and myself, it's the endgame. At least...it was supposed to be the endgame. Enter: Gem. Now, normally I'd say that Lantlas returning to PCW is probably the biggest mistake of his life...but really, isn't Gem his biggest mistake?"
"It's no secret that Gem and I don't like each other. In that ring. In the back. Behind the scenes." Even in the darkness, Sadistic's disgust is unmistakable. "And Eira...well, the trollop and I go way back. Back and forth, back and forth we've danced - the three of us - for the better part of the year. Gem and Eira pursuing the cowardly champion. Isn't that right?"
"Billy Sadistic. Master manipulator. The Black Hand's weak link. The coward, hiding behind his Black Hand brothers. Sneaking about, stealing victories by the skin of my teeth. Underserving of this belt. Ducking and dodging challengers throughout my reign. And it all comes down to tonight. Two dangerous opponents ready to pick the champions bones clean. Finally! Billy Sadistic cornered by his two greatest adversaries! The coward will have nowhere to run and all of the PCW Faithful will finally get to see him get his comeuppance!"
"Or maybe Billy Sadistic isn't a coward after all. Maybe he's lured his two victims right into a trap. Masterfully manipulated them right where he wants 'em. So I pose you this question: What if Billy Sadistic is everything this World Heavyweight Championship belt says he is?"
Sadistic rubs the belt affectionately as his lips split showing jagged yellow teeth behind a scraggily mustache. His wide-open eyes peer tauntingly ahead.
"Gem...Eira...I have one word of advice to both of you."
The Phenom slowly turns his back but caringly gazes back over his shoulder.
"Pray."
The scene then returns to the broadcast studio.
Shane Dodge: Ladies and gentlemen, you just heard from Billy Sadistic. Now I'd like to take you to an exclusive candid interview I conducted with one of his two challengers earlier today. Here is my interview with Eira.
"Eira!"
Twisting around in her seat at the shout, Eira stares with deer-in-the-headlights, bemused askance at the men rushing into one of PCW's backstage lounges.
"Eira, I'm glad we finally caught up with you!" The animated face of Shane Dodge beams at her while a cameraman stands over his shoulder, the little red recording light in full glow.
"I um. I've been sitting here for about twenty minutes now. Pretty easy to catch." She forces a smile and takes a breath, her expression shifting to relief as Dodge forges on, relieving her of the need to continue.
"I've been trying to catch up to as many PCW Superstars as I can leading into Living a Legacy 7, and I HAVE to know - what did you think of Gem's interview?"
"I've already done this. I recorded a promo for the company that addressed JUST this, it's already been released."
"Oh sure, but this is CANDID, we want to know what you REALLY think behind that veneer of eloquence you put up."
"Veneer of eloquence? I paraphrased Gem as an insane child and if I remember correctly I referred to Sadistic as an anus. I don't - what else do you want from me?"
Shane settles in to the black chair across from Eira, leaning forward companionably as the cameraman dutifully records the proceedings.
"I want to know what you really THINK, Eira. What do you think your chances are for the World Championship? Your SECOND World title reign, that would be quite the accomplishment!"
Her eyes dart around the room as she seeks escape, huffing a quiet sigh as she abandons the idea of extricating herself without losing face. Resigned to answering whatever questions might come up, she stares Shane in the face with a wry sort of smile.
"I think my chances are about where they were at when Malone asked. I think they're a little bit better than Gem's -"
"Why is that? Why do her in particular?" Shane eagerly cuts her off, whether hoping for insight or drama is unclear.
"She's focusing on the wrong opponent - or rather, forgetting there are TWO of us. In the interview you had with her, she had a whole lot to say about me, but barely mentioned Sadistic. This goes along with what I've learned from speaking with her personally. She thinks she's a target because the Black Hand sees her as a threat, not realizing that she's a target simply because she's in their way."
"What about the sudden rumors about her paternity? Do you think that changes anything?"
"I don't know if they're true or not, and if they are..." a look of chagrin crosses Eira's face "...you know, I had JUST joined PCW when Lantlas left. I was there, all new and starry eyed, when he addressed the entire company with his resignation. I bought into it like everyone else, but I've done some legwork and - he's not what they thought he was."
Shane Dodge looks like most of the viewers likely do - shocked and appalled at the statement. "Lantlas Anduril is a Pure Class Wrestling LEGEND. His accolades, titles, and accomplishments span longer than your entire CAREER."
"Yeah, they do - and look at his opponents at the time. Look at the caliber of performance from the talent. Look at us NOW. His progeny may have a shot on her own merit, but by no means does she get a free pass of credibility from being the by-blow of a hulking blue haired freak that read Lord of the Rings a few dozen too many times. His time is OVER, it does NOT carry into now, and it does NOT gain her any more of a chance against the quality of Pure Class Wrestling talent TODAY. Especially not when she's going to act the idiot child and get caught up in hurt feelings over things I've said - and things I HAVEN'T said because she's that eager to be a victim - and blithely ignore the fact that Billy Sadistic is more than ready to Snap Crackle Pop her head clean off."
Shane Dodge opts to change the subject, looking quite frankly scandalized. "On to Sadistic - you two have a very... intense history, as recent as it might be. What can you tell me about that?"
Her brows furrowed, Eira glares first at the camera, then at Dodge. "Nothing more than I've already said. I'm not going to sit here and dig deep into personal business to feed the fans. Sadistic is Pure Class Wrestling's current World Champion, and he got there for a reason. Is he an asshole? Yes. Is he ruthless? Yes. Would I really like to see him impaled sphincter first on a wheat thresher? Yes."
Shane pauses, glancing at the camera. "I don't know if - that's a bit graphic, so -"
"No. You told me you wanted to know what I think, what I really FEEL, deep down."
"Well, I didn't mean -"
"William 'Billy Sadistic' Dillinger is the worst kind of evil. He's not 'scary' or 'bad' or 'dangerous' because of his actions. He IS the embodiment of evil. He isn't fit for some cleverly named trademark move, he isn't to meet his end by way of some personality reflecting finisher. His kind is fit only for one thing: annihilation. A meatsuit systematically dismantled around the gaping pit of darkness that he calls a soul. Each bone broken with purpose, each laceration made with intent, the entire body flayed open and laid bare, pulsing in agony as the sins of its owner bleed out onto unhallowed ground. It isn't over until Sadistic is cleansed in the roaring flames of absolution."
Shane Dodge, visibly taken aback, asks his final question, seeming almost fearful of an answer. "Do you... do you have any last words before we head to our next interview?"
Eira stares first at Dodge, then into the camera, dark eyes boring into the viewer.
"Living a Legacy VII marks the culmination of months of build up. The pain of the victims, the broken bodies of the fallen, the screams of rage and agony - none of this, NONE of this will hold a candle to what you will see at the World Championship Match. In the ring you will see three forces never meant to meet COLLIDE in a brutal contest of savagery for acclaim, validation, and glory."
The camera zooms in a bit, focusing on her eyes, the audio picking up her final, soft whisper:
"Pray."
Back in the studio, Shane Dodge is smiling at his own work as he starts to speak.
Shane Dodge: I honestly don't know who is going to leave that match with the title.
Kassandra Black: All three competitors are so strong and so determined to win.
Shane Dodge: Speaking of strong and determined, how about our second main event of the night, the final of The Icemann Invitational Tournament?
Kassandra Black: The semi-finals and the final will take place at Living a Legacy and one of four men will leave this event as the tournament champion and with a chance to claim PCW gold.
Shane Dodge: Michael Wryght, Justin Michaels, Non Compos Mentis or Tha Joka will be the victor, but they'll need to win TWO grueling matches to do so!

PCW Trauma March 31st, 2015 As Trauma comes back from a commercial break we find that PCW President Frank Foley is already in the ring with a microphone in his hand. He waits for the crowd to quiet down somewhat and then starts to speak. Frank Foley: "Ladies and gentlemen, the next time Pure Class Wrestling comes to you on pay-per-view will be May 12th for Living a Legacy VII. Now, as you know, Living a Legacy is home to The Icemann Invitational Tournament. Every year, we celebrate the Pure Class Legacy with this annual event. Traditionally, the Icemann Invitational involves 14 competitors who are invited to participate in the tournament by "The Icemann" and then a "Last Chance Battle Royal" for anyone who wasn't invited or who suffered a loss in the earlier round. The winner of this prestigious tournament is named the number one contender for the PCW World Championship and will face the champion at Return to Glory. Past winners of the tournament include Ace Anderson, Justin Michaels, Mike Park, Kaijin Shinyru, Murdoc and, of course, Ace Anderson again." Foley pauses and points to the announce table. Ace Anderson raises his arm in the air to the roar of the crowd. Frank Foley: "None of what I just said is a surprise... however, what I'm going to say next will be. Ladies and gentlemen, The Icemann Invitational Tournament starts tonight. In fact, it's already started." Everyone seems confused. Frank Foley: "Our first match of the evening was also a first round match in the tournament! Congratulations Seth Archer!" The crowd is in shock. Frank Foley: "But that match isn't the only tournament match scheduled for tonight! Stacy Jones, Joka, get ready, because your match will be a tournament match as well!" |
Shane Dodge: And that's the shocking way that this year's tournament was announced!
Kassandra Black: A lot of outstanding competitors entered this year: Seth Archer, Kurt Kafka, Cory Steel, Kristoff Michaelson, High Tide, Tyrone Smith, Stacy Jones, LIGHT, Nathan Saniti, Kelli Starr, Rick Majors, LoKi and Grimm all threw their names into this tournament but only four competitors have made it this far.
Shane Dodge: Which of those four - Non Compos Mentis, Tha Joka, Michael Wryght or Justin Stormm - will cement their legacy tomorrow night?
The scene once again cuts from the studio. The lights turn on in the bowels of the PCW Arena as commotion can be heard from above, obviously PCW employees readying for the big show. Living a Legacy comes off the heels of some very dramatic Trauma and the tension in the locker room is palpable at the moment. Joka pushes a red button on one of the PCW cameras and then takes a seat in a chair situated in front of it. He lights a cigarette as he leans back, raising his head to blow out smoke from the first drag. Joka looks around inquisitively as he smiles wicked and thinks deranged thoughts.
Joka: You see that area over there? Wouldn't that look especially good with a sort of blanket hanging from the wall. A couple of bludgeoning weapons thrown in for good measure. Maybe a couple of PCW employees hanging from the ceiling for decoration.
Joka looks back at the camera with smoke slowly rolling out of his nostrils, the fumes snaking their way up his face and floating away into the nothing. Joka looks to be at the brink of losing it and laughing as he stifles his toothy smile into a half-cocked smirk. He is unable to hide his chagrin as he continues.
Joka: This is where it all began. For me... this is where the PCW began to fear what I was capable of and dreaded the moment they let me walk through those doors willingly. Some might say what I did down here was vile... terrible... wicked. Means to an end... just means and nothing more. Yeah it was vile... and wicked in all the ways something wicked COULD be, but it got me here and it got the message across. You see... I see the rumors on the interwebs... and all the talk of "how crazy Joka is". Aren't crazy s'posed to think they aren't crazy? Well crazy knows crazy best and crazy begets crazy. It's kind of crazy but let me explain. I'm the one who had to endure thousands of hours of therapy.
Joka takes another drag off of his cigarettes as he hunches forward in his seat, pushing a stiff thumb into his chest. He spits smoke as he belches out his psychotic vitriol.
Joka: I'm the one who was locked up in a cell with not but a bed and my thoughts to keep me. I'm the one who has been dragged by his hair down a hallway, helpless to do anything while a wiggle inside a straight-jacket. I'm the one who was force fed happy pills. All of you sat pretty in your rose colored glasses while I endured the shittiest fate this world could give someone. I'm not a realist... I'm a negativist... and I think all the world should endure the same.
Joka puts the cigarette in his mouth as both of his hands cover his face. He slides his fingers down and smears the black and white makeup across his face as he uncovers a sadistic smile. Joka giggles a little bit as he removes the cigarette with his grease paint covers fingers.
Joka: Yeah... pretty sure I'm crazy...
Joka takes the final drag off of his cigarette and he emphatically tosses it on the floor. Joka stands up quickly and kicks the wooden chair across the room. Joka gets closer to the camera and growls as he lines up for his next spiel.
Joka: This event might be the pièce de résistance for most on the roster up there in the locker room and a lot of people would like to think it is for me. Some might also say... *Imitating a snooty white person* "Silly clown... big french words like that are for someone of a higher caliber... like Stormm or Mr. Foley!" Well I HATE THEM!
Joka's neck twitches violently and it looks as if an invisible hand is pushing his face to the side as he tries desperately to bring his face front and center for the camera.
Joka: I HATE THEM TOO!
His voice has changed from a deep baritone to high pitched as his eyes begin slowly rolling back into his head. He lowers his stance as his dreads begins falling down in front of his face, a cold smile forming on his face is all that can be seen coming out from behind
Joka: You; The PCW Faithful, as they call you, have not heard very much from me. The only thing you have seen are mah actions in the ring and in this room. If actions can make you think I'm that crazy then let me expound on that. This event holds no special place for me. The trophy will be melted down and the money will get tossed in the river.
Joka moves in closer and his voice deepens as he speaks that last part.
Joka: I have no use for those... "frivolous" things! Pain is my currency and injury and agony are mah trophy.
Joka stands up straight as he crosses his arms across his chest. He smiles as he whips his head back and moves the dreads covering his face.
Joka: Long story short... Sadistic... yer absolutum dominium... it's coming to an end.
Joka rears back and front kicks the camera and the picture cuts out. However, audio can still be heard as a wicked guffaw rings out and grows as footsteps are heard walking away.
The feed clicks over to the familiar sight of the PCW ring, but inside a curiously and eerily empty Pure Class Arena. Panning down, the camera finds PCW’s resident colour commentator and bona fide legend Ace Anderson sat inside the ring.
Ace Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, I have been asked to give a very special interview today to a man who I know extremely well. A cornerstone of PCW and a Hall of Fame inductee who recently returned from a one year absence. Non Compos Mentis, it’s good to see you back in the ring.
The camera pulls back to reveal the ‘Born Psycho’ sat looking at his former rival, both sitting within the squared circle, completely alone save for the camera man. The two legends share a momentary glance that tells all about their relationship; brutal competitors who exchanged victories and losses many times, but who respect each other at the end of the day.
NCM: It’s good to be back, Ace.
The two men exchange a cursory handshake before returning to rigid, almost combative, positions in their seats.
Ace Anderson: Let me to entirely honest, NCM. I’m sitting here instead of another interviewer because I’ve known you longer than almost anyone in PCW. We’ve had wars and we’ve also been Tag Team Champions together. I know I can ask you questions that nobody else in PCW would dare ask to your face.
NCM: And I’ll do my best to answer them.
Anderson leans back slightly in his chair as if relaxing slightly, not quite ready to unleash a curve ball at this point.
Ace Anderson: Let’s start from Mass Destruction. It’s been two months since you returned to PCW after a whole year away. You’re a little saner, a little more considered than you were in the old days and you’re undefeated since you came back. Many people experience ring rust when they’ve been out of the ring for so long, I’ll even admit to that myself, but you barely seem to have missed a step. In fact, you may be better now than ever before. Is this the best shot you’ve had at winning the Icemann Invitational Tournament?
NCM: I had to do a lot of soul searching while I was away, I almost killed Murdoc before I left and I knew that wasn’t the Non Compos Mentis I wanted to be. Eventually I shed that part of myself, I focused on being less of an animal and more of a competitor. What PCW saw in the past was a fractured man, and now I’m entirely together in my thoughts and actions. I suppose that does make me a more focused threat that ever before, and I have my eyes set on winning the Icemann Invitational next.
The ‘Born Psycho’s words are considered and well thought out, but in them there is also a slightly telling lack of emotion. He’s playing it safe and Anderson knows that.
Ace Anderson: I can tell you’re trying to be diplomatic here, so let me be a little more pointed… in the past you’ve been accused of lacking the ability, the desire or the determination to win the Icemann Invitational Tournament. Can you beat Joka, Michael Wryght and Justin Michaels and take the crown this time?
This definitely grabs NCM’s attention and he leans forward in his seat. The camera zooms in on NCM slightly, showing his eyes widen slightly with adrenaline.
NCM: Lacking the ability? The desire? Ace, we’ve known each other for a decade, we won the Tag Titles and had a lot of brutal matches together, do you really believe that?
Ace Anderson: It’s not about what I believe, but you can’t deny you’ve had a… jinx on your attempts to win the tournament.
NCM: It’s true, I’ve never won it, I can’t deny that. But do I need to remind people that when Kaijin Shinryu won the tournament it was me that was holding the PCW World Title at the time? Did I lack the ability and desire then? And I’m sure your next point would be the curse of Loki, how he seems destined to derail my efforts every time I enter the tournament. But just a couple of weeks ago I put that myth to rest. I don’t have anything to prove, I’ve done almost everything else in PCW. I’ve beaten Stormm and Showtime before, Joka still has to live up to his potential, so of course I can beat them and win my first Icemann Invitational.
Anderson merely nods, content with the answer. He maintains his laid-back look as NCM sits on the edge of his chair, as if to goad him into being more aggressive.
Ace Anderson: Since you mention the World Title, let’s talk about that. If you win the Icemann Invitational you have the opportunity to cash in a shot on any title in PCW. Would that be for the PCW World Title? You’ve made no secret of your will to remove Billy Sadistic from his position since you’ve returned.
NCM: If Billy Sadistic is holding the title after Living A Legacy then I will cash in on him and make it my mission to rid his influence from PCW.
Now it’s NCM’s turn to be composed. He pulls himself together and backs off, aware he’s getting too edgy and defensive.
Ace Anderson: And if Eira or Gem defeat Sadistic? There are rumours that you may also be tempted to take a title shot against the International Champion, whether that is Kelli Starr or Nathan Saniti.
NCM: That’s a bridge I’ll cross when I get to it.
Again NCM replies with an incredibly neutral answer. Anderson now begins to lean forward, knowing that a relaxed tone will not being anything more out of Mentis.
Ace Anderson: Would you really pass up a guaranteed World Title opportunity for one to join the Grand Slam club?
There’s a sigh from NCM’s lips as he looks down to the mat. He seems to be looking at one exact spot on the canvas, remembering an event from the past that took place in that very place. His eyes lift and stare directly, coldly into Anderson’s.
NCM: I’ve been to the top of the pyramid, Ace. You remember how I lost that title?
Ace Anderson: One of the most shocking moments in the history of PCW, of course I remember it.
He refers to the birth of the Hobo Horde, when a torrent of homeless individuals mobbed both Michael Wryght and Grimm before NCM himself dropped his World Championship Belt in the middle of the ring and surrendered it as a meaningless trinket. A dark day in the history of the World Title.
NCM: I desecrated the sanctity of the PCW World Title that night, I threw it down in the middle of this ring and abandoned it. The power corrupted me like it has Sadistic. I’ve changed since then, but I still don’t know if I can promise things would be different if I won it again. But if I can secure the Grand Slam I won’t just add another title to my record, I’ll make history in PCW once again.
A tone of regret and uncertainly can be heard in NCM’s voice as he recounts his horrifying actions from years previous. Ace, meanwhile, continues to lean forward and will not relent with his questioning.
Ace Anderson: If you still doubt your ability to live up to the responsibilities of being a World Champion, is it wise for you to be back in PCW so soon?
NCM: I know what I’m doing, Ace.
His response is cold and clearly he doesn’t wish to discuss the point any further. Ace isn’t there to play with kid gloves, though, and he ploughs on.
Ace Anderson: Nobody knows where you were for a whole year, we have to take your testimony that you were rehabbing, treating your insanity and solidifying your life. What guarantees do the PCW fans have that you really do want to help PCW by winning the Icemann Invitational? The Black Hand has taunted everyone with the possibility of a fourth member of their group, what guarantees do we have that the fourth member isn’t Non Compos Mentis? That the Black Hand isn’t playing the field by having a man in both sides of the Invitational brackets?
Now NCM has had enough, he rises in a shot from his chair and a shock of anger can be seen on his face. The mere mention of an alliance with the Black Hand has sent him into a rage. Anderson, to his credit, keeps his cool but does get to his feet as a matter of defence. Mentis doesn’t make a violent move though, he runs his hands through his hair and calms himself down before responding.
NCM: You don’t have to trust me, Ace. I’ve never asked for trust. But think of this, before I returned there was only one credible threat to Sadistic and the Black Hand. Eira is a former World Champion and a phenomenal competitor, but Whitey Ford was a volatile drunk and Gem was a relatively unproven mute girl. Eira was the one who asked me to come back because she knew there wasn’t anyone already here good enough to help her dethrone the Black Hand. So what guarantees can I give you? None, but for PCW’s sake you should choose to believe what I tell you: I will never be part of the Black Hand and whether it’s Eira, Gem or Non Compos Mentis, soon Billy Sadistic will be beaten and that title taken away from him.
With that he unhooks the microphone on his jacket and lifts it to his mouth.
NCM: This interview is over, you got what you wanted.
Mentis throws the mic and its battery to the mat and leaves the ring, sending another glance back at Anderson that contains more than a hint of resentment for asking what he did. The broadcast then heads back to the studio.
Kassandra Black: Now you've heard from both Non Compos Mentis and Tha Joka. They will meet up in one of the two semi-final matches at Living a Legacy.
Shane Dodge: And in the other, we'll see Justin "Stormm" Michaels take on "Mr. Showtime" Michael Wryght. For more on these two competitors and their issues with one another, we'll take you back to Trauma from a few weeks ago.
PCW Trauma April 28th, 2015 Meanwhile, the technical team manages to catch “Mr. Showtime” Michael Wryght walking back towards the Black Hand’s private dressing room directly after his match. The sweat from his brow has yet to cease, and he’s left his shimmering black robe open to help cool down. He turns the corner only to be met by the sound of beads shaking. It’s an ominous sound, constant, as it grows louder the closer it gets. One of his eyebrow jets upward as Justin “Stormm” Michaels turns the corner. Justin is just as ring ready as Showtime is. His orange and white wrestling tights actually match Wryght’s, though it is missing the dominant color of green that he sports. In Stormm’s right hand he grips the Pure Class Wrestling North American Championship Belt and around his neck hangs two rattles connected with an orange ribbon, one pink and one blue, both with tiny black handprints. “This is a round about way to the ring from your dressing room,” comments Showtime. “I've been hoping for a chance encounter, you might say.” Stormm replies with a sneer. "Some people are more difficult to come across than others." Stormm lifts his title belt from his side and drapes it over his right shoulder. The championship's center medallion disrupted the ribbon in which the baby rattles are hanging from around the Force of Nature's neck, and the haunting sound repeated itself. The noise seems to irritate Justin despite him wearing the Black Hand's gift to his children like a medal. He's ready to be rid of them. "But I guess I don't need to tell you that, since you've done a bang up job of avoiding me since Mass Destruction, do I?" Showtime scoff at the comment before saying, “Funny I don’t see it that way, considering we did face off right after the pay-per-view, and I even paid you a visit at your own home. I see that your little ones received their gifts, just too bad you weren’t there to thank me in person.” “You leave them out of this you sick son of…” Justin calms himself, knowing full well this is the kind of reaction that Showtime is after. Showtime gasps in horror at the comment, using his acting skills to its fullest. “Sick son of a? I am hurt and offended, Justin. Mostly hurt. I mean, we only wished to congratulate you in this joyous time. What kind of sick freak do you think I am?” There was only one way for Justin to react to Showtime’s antics, and that was with a smile and a shake of his head. “There are so many ways I could answer that question, but it would only further drag me away from why I tracked you down.” Stormm grabbed the orange ribbon, and lifted the rattles from around his neck, the beads inside singing their song the whole way. “You can twist your actions every which way, but the best way for you and the Black Hand to congratulate me and my family would be to leave us alone!” “Then how would you know we care?” jests Showtime, trying to get Stormm to feed into his nonsense. “I don’t know what you think our intentions are with your family, but no harm has come to them, nor will it. We aren’t in the business of hurting children, no matter what you think of us. It was truly a gesture in welcoming the twins into the world. When it comes to the Black Hand’s intentions, don’t worry, they are entirely focused on you.” Gripping the ribbon tightly, Stormm’s knuckles begin to turn white. He does his best to bite his tongue, knowing full well what Showtime is trying to accomplish. “The Black Hand doesn’t strike me as an organization that can be bothered with such things. You also mistake me for someone who gives a shit what you all think.” With force, Stormm shoves the rattles onto Wryght, holding them against his chest. “You can keep your business, your intentions, your focus, and take them elsewhere!” “Now this is a real insult. I mean, I can handle you speaking poorly about my mother, who is a beautiful human being, but returning a thoughtful gift with such disrespect is shameful,” Showtime growls, not giving up if he is serious or not before spitting towards Stormm’s feet in disgust. The Force of Nature doesn’t break eye contact with Mr. Showtime at all, despite his discourteous act. “I’m only showing you the same amount of respect you showed me by coming into my home uninvited, something I’ll be damned if I let happen again!” “You got me all wrong, but don’t fool yourself Stormmy, the Black Hand is the type of organization that bothers itself with all things,” Showtime rebuff, as Michaels is noticeably annoyed by the use of the name ‘Stormmy’. “We are on a mission here, you have to be able to see that. We may not have much in the field of finesse, and though no one realizes it but we are the good guys here. Without chaos there can be no order, and we will eventually bring that order back to PCW and the world. Your being marked is just another step towards the ultimate goal. Believe it or not, it’s nothing personal.” Justin shakes his head with a subtle grin at the insanity spewing from Mr. Showtime’s mouth, and then released his grip on the ribbon holding the rattles. Michael extends his hands just in time for the noisemakers to fall into them. “What you need to understand, Mikey, is that I don’t care. We don’t care. Nobody cares! It’s all the doings of three grown men, brainwashed into thinking the world needs them, when what the world really needs is to be rid of them!” “No one cares?” scoffs Showtime, actually being serious for once. “Since we’ve come together all PCW has done is talk about us. Oh how the once mighty bleat about us week after week. They proclaim our horrors, but turn a blind eye to the fact that if they weren’t the scum of the Earth, we’d have no business here. PCW has forced our hand. A place that once had a good balance between heroes and villains had become over run with the wretched. The wicked were allowed to spill their carnage, infecting the other, to think that this was an acceptable way to act. We were all tainted leaving the last of the good men to rot by the wayside. I can’t say that I was innocent either, maybe one of the worst, but I at least was given another chance, no matter how it cost me. PCW will become our finest conquest, laying the path to a better home for all of us.” Growing tired of Mr. Showtime’s mindless ramblings, Justin moves in closer and lowers his voice. “You mistake our concern for PCW as caring for your mischievous behavior. The Black Hand has no business trying to force their influences on any of us back here or out there. Truthfully, I was going to keep my nose out of your affairs, to avoid the mistakes I made going after you and Marshall’s Law two years ago, but then you got my family involved.” Using the hand he held the rattles with moment earlier, Stormm grabbed ahold of Mr. Showtime’s robe and pulled him in even closer, whispering into his ear. “Your conquest will bring you nothing. The Black Hand can rage war on PCW, and we will not fall. You three can run around, spitting your plagues, but your hunger for ‘order’ will only be met with starvation. I’ll make damn sure of that.” Showtime looks down at Stormm’s hand gripping his robe. When he looks back up, it’s with that cocky half smile of his and he speaks softly, almost kindly, at Michaels, “You’re only fooling yourself, Justin. We have every right to take action, and now I see you are obviously part of the problem. What authority do you have to judge anyone? Who gave you the scales to balance justice? You are just as naive as the rest of the sheep in PCW. You’re predictable Stormm, I always knew that’d you’d fall into the same mistakes you did last time, but last time was personal. You know why you hate me so much, Justin? It’s because we’re too damn similar. The difference is that I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not, and it makes you sick. Nex Addo.” Showtime breaks Stormm’s grip with a heavy shoulder, knocking Michaels away. Showtime storms off towards his locker-room without a second glance. Stormm is left steaming, from the confrontation, but happy he was able to at least keep Showtime from making him completely lose it. Content with how their confrontation played out, finally, he takes a few steps towards the area when he notices the shaking of the rattles. Just when Justin thought he got rid of them, Showtime somehow hooked them to the NA Title belt. Letting out an exasperated sigh, Stormm adds his own conclusion to the conversation, in a tone low enough that only he can hear. “You’re only fooling yourself.” |
Kassandra Black: Of course, that segment isn't anywhere close to all of the issues between these two men, but it's a great way to show a bit of what's going on between them.
Shane Dodge: Also remember that, in addition to their personal situation, both Stormm and Showtime needed rematches to advance in this tournament after wresting to time-limit draws against their second round opponents. Will these grueling paths through this tournament hurt them, especially when you consider how likely those two men are to push each other to the limit in their match?
Kassandra Black: Well, it's not like Joka and NCM are going to take it easy on one another!
Shane Dodge: Far from it! Those two guys are going to rip one another apart!
Kassandra Black: Only one man will leave the tournament with his head held high and a chance to cash in for gold! Who will it be?
Shane Dodge: We'll find out tomorrow night!
