The scene opens on a nice clear day in California. A road trip was planned with me and my two oldest children Jimmy my oldest of all four and Monica second oldest over all, but the oldest of my daughters. Everything was going well as usual. We played our game of slug bug, since there seems to be a shit load of them here roaming the good old interstate five; it was called out a lot. I had my I-phone plugged in and pumping out the beats. The brats didn’t like it, well a few songs they did. But what they call music and what I call actual music, is a big difference. It seemed like it had been ages since I have had the time to spend with my two oldest. I feel really bad that I went through most of their childhood on the road, wrestling and trying to provide for their future. Then LeeAnn had to go and get herself knocked up after taking advantage of me, while I was amongst friends and drinking a little too much. Nine months later, James and little Debra came popping out along with more money from my wallet. But luckily for the younger two, I have had plenty of time to enjoy spending the time with them. Monica is a teenager now...God help me and The Boy, is just four years away from the greatest ass kicking in his life once he is no longer a minor.
”Are you really coming out of retirement Daddy with Uncle Anarchy?”
I looked over to Monica, who is bright and loves her Daddy a lot. She never really cared for me wrestling, but I had to do what I did. I quickly turned my attention to her for a slight moment and answered.
”Yes Baby Girl, me and your Uncle are going to be coming out of retirement, and make one final great run at it.”
The snickering that I could hear from the back was from The Boy, who has been displaying a little bit of a smart-ass attitude lately. I blame his mother for it. I asked him what was so funny and he suggested that I was old. For only being thirty-five, I didn’t think so. I reached across my arm to my daughter’s furthest shoulder and brake checked his ass, watching him hit his head into the back of the passenger’s chair. I quickly yelled out “damn drivers” to try and keep myself from feeling the wrath of his mother, once he had spoken about it to her. His sister and I shared a laugh, because you don’t talk about dear old dad like that with her around. I put my arm back onto the steering wheel and continued on, while checking the rearview mirror to see him rubbing his head. I have forgotten how good California looks. The only real sad thing about it, is we have not been receiving a lot of rain, so most of the green has been turned into the yellow, dried up mess that everyone has been hearing about. A question was heard coming out of my boy’s mouth, asking me if I had already found out who mine and Willard’s opponents were.
“Interestingly enough, it will be a triple team tornado match. That’s something that I like. All of the action, all of the chaos, ALL of the possibilities that can happen, WILL happen, now that Tha Alliance is back. Plus the victor of the match marches on through to the next pay per view, Road To Glory, and has a shot at winning the Pure Class Wrestling World Tag Team Championship. Three times we will be the new fad around Pure Class Wrestling, as we look to regain titles that we never lost each of the tw...”
I was stopped in my words as The Boy decided to finish up my sentence, as he has heard it on many occasions apparently. But adding.
”Two times that we have held it. Seriously Dad, do you think you can pass on this lecture? You’re starting to sound like the four touchdowns in a single game guy.”
How dare he talk about the great Al Bundy like that, though I was flattered at the comparison, I knew the merit that he was going for. Monica sensed what was about to happen and braced herself as I squinted my eyes in the rearview mirror at my son, giving him an eye that Kano from Mortal Kombat himself would be proud of, right before brake checking him once again. My daughter laughed again, while I still glared a hole into my son, who was sitting in the back, rubbing his head and is now starting to glare at me in return…the little bastard.
”Are you okay son?”
I asked sarcastically, since he was being a little brat. Monica seemed to have a little bit of a worried look on her face as she found out what style of match that I was put in. Also the great father that I am, I looked upon her and asked her what was the matter. She replied that she wasn’t happy with it, due to the fact that she knew all too well of how me, and her dear Uncle Anarchy worked in the squared circle. And this was a point that Jase and myself had discussed before deciding to come back. The both of us have realized that we do have families to take care of, and we do want to be around to see our little ones grow up. We also wanted to spend what time we had with our older ones, before life takes them onto their journey and tries to fuck them up. To this point in time, we found that we were very lucky that nothing bad has happened to us or even something life threatening. We both came to an understanding that we will not go the routes and turns that we usually did. So a look of relief overcame her face when I told her everything that her Uncle and I had talked about, and how things will be a hundred percent different this time around. Plus I didn’t want to have to go through this again with my younger two children.
”I can’t wait to see Auntie Destiny”
Monica has always been close to her. I got a “daddy don’t say that” after saying “yeah, I can’t wait to see the old bag too.” I was surprised to hear “is Kristen going to be there?” come from the voice of my son. He and Jase’s oldest daughter grew up together and are close. When I came to think about it, jokingly I asked “why do you wanna know if your girlfriend is going to be there for?” I laughed at it, because Monica said it along with me to my surprise. That girl, I swear, there is no question she is mine. My son had turned redder than I have ever seen. I could tell that he was looking at her differently now that they are both in those years. I asked for silence when I heard the beginning of Eminem’s “Without Me” come on. I reached out and cranked up the volume and started to sing along with it, while adding my own twists on it in certain parts. I sensed two sets of eyes looking at me while saying:
”Guess who’s back, back again, Da Loczterz back, with his friend, Tha Alliance is back, Tha Alliance is back, Tha Alliance is back, Tha Alliance is back….”
Before I could finish the next three sets of Tha Alliance is back, the volume was quickly turned down by my daughter, with both children saying “please Dad, no, for God sakes.” I looked at her like if she committed a sin, by which she did by touching my radio.
“You don’t ever touch a Mexican’s radio, little girl. Do you understand me young lady?”
I turned the volume back up and it was on the chorus as I started to sing along again. But this time, both fruits of my loins were shaking their heads in disgust, embarrassment or both. It didn’t really matter to me.
”Now this looks like a job for Loccie, so everybody follow Loccie, because we need, a little controversy, so I bring the man of Anarchy.”
The fanfare for the common man was not heard from the two young ones, as they did not care for the killer vocals that were being put out on display for them to marvel at. So I stopped my singing and after a bit of silence, I was asked about my opponents.
”Well out of the four opponents in the match, I am only familiar with one of them and that is Crazy Boy. The team of The Nobodies which is a guy named Frank Merritt and another named Bubba Reece, are the dangerous ones in this match, due to the fact they are not really known, but have been showing some promise. So they cannot be taken lightly. Those are the types of people that I focus on more, since I have learned a great lesson early in my career: never underestimate the little man, because they are the ones that can beat you the best. I will have to research more into them, even though not too much is known, so they have a slight edge in that department. As for Crazy Power. I know crazy. Hell that is the name for the gimmick I ran with for that past fourteen years. And I most definitely know about power, because I have shown my own strengths with that feat. Crazy Boy I have faced before one on one and hold a victory. But I will not allow that to overshadow my thoughts for him, due to that match being over ten years ago. He has been a stalwart in this federation, and is well respected. Plus, just because that happened over a long period ago, that doesn’t mean he didn’t learn from that match and hasn’t taken away something that could aid him against me in this match.”
I went into pondering mode after saying the words that I did about Crazy Boy. We had our careers cross paths once and at the next Trauma, it will happen for the second time. Then there is his partner, Alexa Black. Who at first glance of her, thought that Skrillex became a wrestler. Not to put anything past her, she has proven to be a formidable foe and will be someone that is dangerous in this match as well. I cannot wait for this to happen, as once again, Tha UnHoly Alliance will grace a Pure Class Wrestling ring and will be one of six teams that have the chance to move onto Road To Glory. How appropriate the name I thought. Since we, Tha Alliance, are trying to return to our old glory and the “road to glory” starts at Trauma. From there we shall see if it is greener pastures for us, or living in the alleys, dining on pork and beans.
Scene closes as the two children are talking amongst themselves, while I kept myself in deep thought about the return match. I also had to deal with the California traffic, that was becoming more of a pain in my ass, than having to sit and listen to LeeAnn complain about not using a coaster for my drinks.
