The Alexa Bliss segment was beyond awful tonight. Whatever writer thought it would be a good idea, let alone funny, needs to be fired.
WWE continues to botch Bayley (how the fuck that's possible is beyond me) and Alexa is waaay better than the crap they had her spew.
Should have had them wrestle enhancement talent just for momentum.
On a positive note, I love Goldust going back to his original stuff (just needs the wig) and R-Truth's answer was a good follow. Give them enough time, it could be a decent little feud.

Simon Miller form WhatCulture did a really good video on this in his "Why" series. He talks about how instead of focusing on the likable underdog aspect of Bayley's character, they're instead infantilizing her and treating her like everyone's little sister.

I liked the opening segment focusing on memorial day. WWE always does right by the military, with Tribute to the Troops and segments and whatnot. Usually the Miz is spot on during his segments, but he slipped up a couple times during Miz TV. Also, how many shows in a row are they going to open the same way? It seems like it's always a group of heels, a group of faces, then a match is made. As for the match itself, I thought it was...well, pretty awesome. It wasn't anything too special and it wasn't anything we haven't seen before, but the faces got their time and looked great. I'm sure that Sheamus/Cesaro and Miz will all be champions after the PPV.
Elias Sampson has a lot of potential. He looks like a natural. Sure he had a jobber match this week, but he held his own against Dean Ambrose and looked good doing it last week. Big guy, nice finisher, charismatic...yep. I'm for him.
I know I've talked a lot of shit about Bray Wyatt, but c'mon. The guy does cut some really awesome promos. I'm pretty sure it'll be Balor vs Lesnar...but I think that Wyatt vs. Lesnar could be great, if they actually wrote it right. As for the match between him and Joe/Balor, I really wanted to like it. I was entertained, but these three didn't seem to really mesh well together. The spots seemed sloppy and not well planned out; nothing BAD, persay, but just sort of random. BUT, as I keep watching this match, I do have to say that the powerbomb/superplex spot was pretty great.
How old is Samoa Joe anyways? Dude has to be pushing 50, right? Early 40's at least? He's older, but he can still hang. I'm happy WWE finally saw his worth; I wish he'd fly more though, seeing a man his size do a suicide dive is impressive. And his turnbuckle enziguri is awesome too!
Not nearly as cool as Balor's apron punt, though. I like this guy, he's growing on me a lot. I really didn't see Joe getting the win tonight though! Awesome. I take it back, match of the night so far, I'm just not used to a nice, slow build on a RAW match.
Oh, hey! The Revival! Steiner Brothers reincarnate! I can't wait to see them in action again. I've only watched one of their matches, but maybe I'll peruse through some of the older NXT episodes on Hulu.
As for Alexa's segment, it was pretty terrible, but I think it could have worked. It was a gamble; I think they were trying to make Bayley seem like every high school girl who just wants to be nice or what the fuck ever. The crowd was super against this segment though and I think that made Bliss rush through her lines and not really use the right timing. She stumbled over her words a lot. But yeah, I'm sure as this segment continues to go on they're pushing Alexa as a high school bully. Bet she loses at Extreme Rules. But the longer this goes on...yeah, fucking terrible.
Cass and Enzo...bleh. Whatever.
Reigns vs Rollins...bleh. Whatever. We've seen it already! Jesus. They both can hang but we've already seen this shit! The finish was decent, I get why Reigns won...he has to still look strong as the company's most hated face. He won't win at Extreme Rules; or at least he shouldn't. If he does, booking needs to be fired.

Am I the only one who thinks Cass is going to be the one who attacked Enzo?

I could see it. Cass would make a great monster heel. Vince doesn't get Enzo so if they do split say hello to comedy jobber #3784

I could see it. Cass would make a great monster heel. Vince doesn't get Enzo so if they do split say hello to comedy jobber #3784 Enzo is far better on the mic than in the ring. Problem is, Vince enjoys watching him get rag dolled. The team is going nowhere, so a split couldn't hurt. And speaking of comedy...Breezango, again. Lol. Unlike New Day. I haven't found them as entertaining since the face turn and doubly so since the tag title loss. I love the Usos as heels. American Alpha should've been their top foils. But nope. Not looking forward to the upcoming feud. But the division is a weak point, smh. And yes. The women's MITB is a great idea. Should be fun, IF they give them the time to shine. I have a little hope after Natalya took the announce table spot. We'll see how they do with a ladder.

I think it might be TOO obvios that Cass is the attacker. I could see it being a swerve, he gets blamed for being the bad guy, and turns out he just wanted to have Enzo's back.

The problem with breaking up Enzo and Cass would be, their tag team sing along shtick is the most over intro of its kind since the New Age Outlaws "Oh you didnt know" routine. Break that up and Cass is just a moderately intense tall guy, like a lovechild of Edge and Test. And Enzo.... all he has going for him is that intro, really. I mean, they had him in that solo feud with Rusev in December and it was all kinds of terribad, from his wrestling to backstage skits.
Plus, how does this feed in to Corey Graves and his new gimmick as the guy telling people the gossip and Kurt Angle being disgraced?
I wanna say the Revival are part of it too, but there's so many plates spinning right now.

Hahaha Edge and Test, so true! oops. I mean...Oh it's true, it's damn true! The Revival could work. But I just have a sneaky feeling it'll be Cass. We shall see what happens! I hope like hell the angle with Corey isn't a way to bring Steph back. I love Angle as GM. It's one of the few good things RAW has. For Dustin: Samoa Joe is 38. The big problem with the fatal five way, is the plan is to have Roman win the title at WM 34 from Brock. Plans could always change, but if that's true, none of this ultimately matters. Other than HOPEFULLY some entertaining matches. Don't forget Strowman. I think he could be a legit threat. I have liked the build of the match though between everyone. Wyatt-Lesnar was supposed to happen at WM, but they went with Ambrose that year instead. Steiner clones are American Alpha, sir. lol. The Revival are excellent though. They have shades of The Brain Busters (Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard in case anyone doesn't know the name). Sampson is good. Feeding him jobbers is one way to help get him introduced to a wider crowd. Miz is underrated as hell. I'd love to see him have another run with the title.

The sad thing is that Enzo isn't a bad wrestler, he just needs the right dance partner and someone as physically dominating as Rue Rue is just not that person.
Speaking of, he's another person I'd love to see get some build up when he gets back to smackdown. If Jinder hadn't won the belt at the last PPV I would have said Rusev wins it at MitB.

Funny you say that, because that's exactly what was going to happen. They are back to the drawing board. Rusev could easily be a main eventer imo.

I LOATHE Rusev and all six of his moves. He has the charisma of a Billy Goat. I consider Ryback more talented and I hate Ryback. Let him go 'back to Bulgaria' and give us more of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Hell I'd like to see American Alpha again...you know guys who CAN wrestle.
As for Cas being the guy that is taking out Enzo, if the rumors are true he and Enzo will pick up the titles at Summer Slam...if that's true...this will be a loooooong angle.

I think they can still have Rusev as a viable main event talent, without the belt (for now, but if you'd wanted a nationalistic heel, I'd have gone with him over Jinder first anyway) All they have to do is make him come out and screw Randy out of the WWE title in his inevitable rematch. That gives them a logical feud for Summerslam and lets Rusev feel important for once. Then, Jinder, ugh, can defend the WWE title against whatever face comes out of MITB looking best. I'm betting AJ.

That would play on the former alliance between the two. I have no desire to see Rusev job to Orton. Let alone Orton himself lol.
Styles as MITB winner. Hmm. I could see it. But my early pick is Baron Corbin.
Anyone read Nia's shot at RAW creative on her twitter? Woman has herself a point. I also read something where creative doesn't know what to do atm, hence the constant multi-person rehashes. Pretty damn sad. Extend that to them not having any plans for her. Riiight. Rumor has it she may get a face turn in the future.

Ugh, I hope not. Nia works best as the big dominant bitch, and I say that with all due respect. I mean maybe WWE can pull something good out of their collective rectums and work a good face turn for her, but I'm not holding my breath.

if creative can't be bothered to do anything with the roster between now and July/August, I have no hope for them getting a Nia face turn right. Plus, she doesn't need to turn. She needs to be a dominating monster heel.

I'll have to find the idea I pitched to Rick about a dual face/heel turn with Lesnar and Reigns and Paul Heyman turning on Lesnar. It was gold.

I LIKE Nia...and she should be a classic monster heel...I don't hate Alexa Bliss...but Bliss needs to be divested of the title. Nia is someone you put the belt on for MONTHS. I hate that they are doing nothing with her. Also not sure why they are pushing Alicia Fox. She has less in ring talent than the Bellas and that's damn slim. Pushing her over Sasha Banks should never happen. Give Alicia her walking papers or send her back down to NXT to learn how to do this. Also, why is Tamina getting any sort of push over on the blue brand?
